Loved the bed - its was so comfy! Room was good, though like most hotel bathrooms the showerscreen leaked onto the floor and towel racks a bit loose. Shame that the bar wasn't open while we were there but there was a bar open across the road. Very convinient to trams up Glenferrie Rd and Cotham Rd to Kew and High St.

Second time we have stayed here. Check in was efficient both times. Staff were excellent and helpful. Room was better than expected for the price. Parking didn't cost an arm and a leg either. Lots of room and easy to get into. Bed was comfortable. Heated towel rails so towels were warm. Pretty quiet. Room was warm once we figured out the heater - only suggestion is have instructions for how to use the heater printed and in large font. The heater control is small and the pictures even smaller which were hard to read even after taking photo and enlarging it! and it's the simple things that are good also - The have an ICE machine! This time the fridge was full of drinks to purchase which made it hard to put our drinks/water in to keep cold. Last time it was empty which we prefer. Close to public transport. Also walking distance to a few restaurants/fish & chip shop etc. Would stay again.

It’s very confusing in the car park which lift to take to hotel. There are signs but they are not great. Although parking is available, it comes at an extra $20 a night. I was woken just after 5am and again at 6 by throbbing noises. Hotel is spotless and there is everything you need.

The Sebel staff were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. Rooms were clean, beds and pillows so very comfy! We went for breakfast to Town and Country cafe which was within walking distance from The Sebel. Parking was secure and so very reasonably priced, public transport was also a short walk. We will definitely be returning here! Thank You

Good location which was quiet even though it is on a main road. The tram (109) stops outside the door and that makes good access to the city without the hassle of driving or paying exorbitant parking fees. Has own restaurant and bar which offer good food and wine. Room well appointed so all good and had parking in the basement.

Pros: Good sized Room, comfortable bed, very well priced. Cons: Still feels Like a “Hotel”. TV interface is very dated and clunky. No Cutlery. A nice Couch would have been perfect. Dining table doesn’t have dining chairs. Hotels are competing with short stay rentals but haven’t Really done much to compete with them.

Booked this hotel at last minute for a work trip. I was blown away. The room was excellent, so clean, super comfy bed, large shower with good water pressure and extra large bath towels and fluffy robes! Would definitely recommend. The proximity to the restaurants and cafes is also a bonus!

Great service, staff were attentive and helpful whenever we needed them. We left my girlfiend's expensive diamond earring in our room and even though the room had been cleaned, as we had checked out two hours earlier, they let us back in the room to check. It was found placed in the side drawer by the cleaner, so was easily found. Will stay again next time we are in Melbourne.

The room was ok. Clean. But not the one I had paid for. The manager eventually contacted me after I had rang the front desk to inquire why I had been given a different room. She said that there had been a ‘computer glitch’ and because they were at capacity she would give me a small refund. I had to ask her for an apology which was resentfully given. She could have offered a bottle of wine or something?! Won’t be staying there again.
