Basic TraveLodge property in the Barcelona Fair area. Close to all fair events and also to the airport, and about 15 minutes taxi ride to Barcelona city centre. No full restaurant and not much in the immediate area, especially in the evening, but there´s a big mall and a lot of restaurants within walking distance. "Economy class" rooms, but that´s what you get with TraveLodge anywhere.

Prestations pas au niveau d'un 3* d'une chaîne internationale : 1) Le wifi est payant si la réservation est faite chez un autre prestataire (ex hotel.com). C'est la politique de la marque aux dires du personnel de réception. 2) Pas de produits d'accueil dans la chambre (bonnet de douche). idem. 3) le sèche cheveux n'est disponible que sur demande à l'accueil. 4) Je n'aurai pas fait de remarques écrites, si les points 1 et 2 avaient été disponibles, mais dans ce cas, pour moi, c'est un mauvais rapport prestations/prix :125€/nuit sans petit déjeuner (même en tenant compte d'un évènement important à ces dates. De plus, malgré sa situation géographique l'hôtel est quand situé très loin du centre de Barcelone, même si le métro en facilite l'accès.

I didn't expect much from Travelodge, but this is a super spartan hotel, no frills, very basic. No dinner. I was staying for a conference, so hugely expensive this week for what you get. The Wifi I paid for didn't work well for 2 days. On Day 3 I asked reception staff to re-set their router and fix Wifi. That helped, but was hard to work from the room.

This place had a very bad bleach smell that was very irritating. I kept coughing and couldn't stay at this place. We had to leave immediately. The place looked nothing like the pictures. The second floor was completely destroyed and under renovations. The room didn't have any amenities as described on Expedia. It didn't have a fridge, soap, safe, blow drier or ANYTHING. WIFI was not even FREE. Never staying there AGAIN! HORRIBLE!

Wifi mancante in stanza

Struttura carina e piacevole per un soggiorno senza troppe pretese, personale cordiale e disponibile ad ogni richiesta, unica pecca l’assenza del Wi-Fi in camera (a pagamento) ma presente nella hall dell’hotel. Nel complesso ho trascorso una buona vacanza

La habitación no la limpian a fondo después de cada cliente, había pelos en el baño, la ducha tenía manchas, el champú horrible, 2 toallas para 3 personas, el suelo sin barrer porque fui descalza, solo espero que por lo menos estuvieran lavadas las sábanas, el recepcionista parecía que no tenía experiencia y encima no sabía devolver bien las vueltas de la tasa que te mandan pagar por estar en Cataluña... después de esto el precio ha sido caro..No vuelvo

The bathroom had mold on the ceiling because of a lack of ventilation. There were many small stains on the comforters and sheets. The grounds were very nice and well maintained.

Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. We asked where we could get something to eat and front desk gave us great information. We also forgot to pack a converter for a European plug to US, and front desk lent us one and a hair dryer. Would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for one night before we boarded our cruise ship.

Le séjour a été agréable. Le personnel de réception est très agréable. L’hôtel est propre, un peu vétuste par endroit mais ce n’est pas dérangeant. La literie est confortable.

Room floor was dirty. Need to be upgraded. Bathrooms walls tiles dirty. No coffee machine. Internet connection poor. Only advantage is close to a subway station. No restaurant nearby.

The hotel was sparkling clean. The staff were so lovely and professional. We wanted an early check in, they were so considerate about it and allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier. The best nights sleep and so comfortable.

Sugli scaffali e negli angoli c’era polvere, tuttavia i bagni erano discreti. Manca l’asciugacapelli, bisogna chiederlo alla reception. Si sente molto l’acqua delle tubature dei bagni adiacenti. Buon servizio di vigilanza/sicurezza la sera.

Honestly imagine a Motel 6 and then go down a step. There were rust stains in our bathroom and a washer and screw for the cap where you pull up to have the water go through the shower head. The front desk people were very nice - the condition of the hotel is very lacking. WiFi only in the lobby? That is honestly just cheap. And the cost was not much less than the very nice hotels close by. The location is very close to a metro line though!

A quiet place to stay for sleep before a long connecting flight. My room is so clean and spacious. I love the firm bed and the ac works well.

Las habitaciones muy basicas, mucho calor el aire estaba con calefacción no tiene microondas, mini refrigerador, pero esta de muy facil acceso al metro solo a pasos, y muy cerca tiene un shopping y un supermercado carrefour muy conveniente

The lobby area was fine and offered a breakfast buffet for 10 euros. The room is no frills which is expected from the Travelodge brand but the bed was comfortable and the room was pretty clean. However, the air conditioner was the issue. I was in the hotel for a week. First night, no problem cool air and comfortable. Second night the air did not work and I had to open the window. Mosquitoes entered the room during the night and had me for a meal. In the morning I informed the front desk. They sent someone to the room to check it out and they did something to put the system into a 'centralized' configuration. Each I informed the front desk the AC did not work. Each morning the same person would tell me they would look into it. Each evening the AC would work for a short time then quit. The last night, the front desk person (I believe her name was Litita) provided a fan and really tried to fix the AC which she said was a new system. That was the only real help I received. During the week, no offer to move to another room, no offer of compensation, just attitude and questioning if I knew how to operate an AC system that was configured to be operated by the front desk. None of the controls in the room worked. This is the worst hotel stay I have experienced.

It’s clean andquiet but the ridd to get to the city center is quitr long

Le séjour a été agréable. Le personnel de réception est très agréable. L’hôtel est propre, un peu vétuste par endroit mais ce n’est pas dérangeant. La literie est confortable.

Air con warm, moldy bathroom, no tea or coffee facilities, noisy outside, poor breakfast selection

Just a little closer to the city centre and it would be convenient for those who prefers to walk around and perhaps a fridge and a safe to store your valuables but other than that, the staff were friendly and helpful, a nice tidy and spacious accomodation and a quiet area.

Das Hotel ist eine perfekte Basis wenn man zu Fussballspielen im Olympiastadion will. Die gratis Shuttles fahren quasi vor der Haustüre weg. Auch die U-Bahn Anbindung zum Flughafen ist ausgezeichnet. Ansonsten war es dann auch schon mit den herausragenden Eigenschaften. Das Hotel selbst ist bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Lage im Gewerbegebiet. Einfache Zimmer ohne Ausstattung wie Safe und Kühlschrank, schlechte Schallisolierung, keine Amenities im Bad oder gratis Wasser. Immerhin Klimaanlage, bequeme Betten und sauber. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Für ein, zwei Nächte ok

The last night, the front desk person (I believe her name was Litita) provided a fan and really tried to fix the AC which she said was a new system. That was the only real help I received. During the week, no offer to move to another room, no offer of compensation, just attitude and questioning if I knew how to operate an AC system that was configured to be operated by the front desk. None of the controls in the room worked. This is the worst hotel stay I have experienced.

There was a concert nearby with loud music that lasted until 6am. With closed windows the noise inside the room was 60-70 decibels. With open windows it was over 80 decibel. I have taken video recordings of this noise inside the room with a closed window in the night. We could not have possibly slept with this noise, even when using earplugs the noise was too loud. I would like to ask whether the concerts are a usual occurrence near the hotel i.e. every weekend, or was this just a one off? I raised my complaint with the receptionist Lorena in the morning. She was very unprofessional and rude in our interaction. In her own words she said that I should have noticed the people and the party set up nearby so that I would know that there would be noise in the night before booking it! This is a very unprofessional thing to say to a customer aiming to make them feel they are wrong, just for expecting normal sleep conditions at night.

This Travelodge is in the Barcelona Fair area, which is about halfway between city centre and airport (15 minutes either way in car or taxi). It´s a modern and well-kept property and the staff are and efficient and friendly. Limited dining at the hotel and not much in the immediate area, but there´s a big mall nearby which has everything. Good value-for-money hotel for a short stay.

Close to metro and the price is reasonable.

Mala ubicación, si llegas de noche sobre todo, da la sensación de estar aislado. Además lo que se puede consumir en el hotel, no es nada apetecible. El desayuno muy flojo.

Hotel was located close to public transport like underground. Room clean, nice stuff. I wish breakfast had more options.
