Short walk to a mall, deli, transportation, restaurants. The restaurant downstairs was closed our entire stay and they dont reoppen until the end of August. Breakfast is very good. Allowed us an extra hour to check out. Provided Shampoo/Soap was good.

The hotel building from the outside is very fancy and unique. The room is clean and spacious. The location is far from the centre, but has good transport links, and is near a large shopping centre with a large supermarket and restaurants. The gym was very small, and it was nice to have a sauna in the hotel. The views of Barcelona were great from the room. The only thing that I didn’t like was the large room window that could be opened wide enough for a person to get through the open gap, and we stayed on the 22nd floor. It scared me. Also, it was peculiar that the toilet room didn’t have the sink in it and you had to go to the other area nearby to wash your hands.

El hotel está muy bien. Las habitaciones amplias y limpias. La cama cómoda. Para mí la única incomodidad es que el baño no estaba aislado de la habitación, por lo que cualquier ruido o luces si alguien quiere levantarse y ducharse antes despiertan a la otra persona. Check in was at 3pm but we got checked in at 4pm. We got told that we are a priority but thought that was something they said to everyone coming in to hotel. The sauna shower facilities didn't work. The shower in the sauna had to be held in to use it and there was another shower which we didn't know the use of. The gym wasn't great as machines didn't work. It's not great location for hotel as we had to always use the metro or bus to go into town so alot of travelling was done. The room was very good with everything working and a good view from the window.

It was safe and quiet with a taxi rank and bus routes nearby. Staff was very nice and friendly and hotel room (double privilege) was lovely and cleaned everyday. Minor isssues were that they were stingy with some supplies, e.g. body lotion and wouldn’t give them to you or replace them during room cleanings, you had to go down to the Front desk in person to get lotion, which was a bit wild for such a nice hotel. Nobody helping with bags. Also had a snack once I needed a fork and knife to eat it and they tried to charge me six euros to bring basic cutlery up to my room and said I would have to go down to the restaurant in person and grab some and take them to my room if I did not want to pay $6 euros for a fork and knife. Gym had no free weights /was not well equipped and the few items there like bands were broken. They could do so much better with their gym, it would be a huge selling point. Still they gave me a nicer room for an extra night and apart from the weird cheap practices now and then was a lovely stay!

Good location - near huge mall that we don’t even know. Staff was helpful. Value was good and we’d recommend staying here to our friends. There is no pool though as indicated on hotels.com!

The floor may have been swept but the dirt was not picked up. Big pile of black hair on the floor in the sitting area was pretty gross. If you are going to have white rooms they need to be clean.

The floor had a very musty, moldy smell, as did the room. I ended up getting bronchitis from the mold smell. It seems like the hotel is saving costs by keeping the air conditioner off on the floor. Shower, the door doesn't close when the towel is on the floor. Water leaked out of the bathroom. Trying to be modern looking is not useful and is non-functional. Also, housekeeping at 530 PM? This should happen around 8 to 10 AM when I'm out of the room, not when I'm back. I've never experienced this before!!! Overall, I will never stay at this hotel again!!!!

The room was absolutely immaculate. The customer service from the staff was beyond excellent. The location was extremely safe and perfect for easily accessing restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, tours, etc. When I return to Barcelona, Hotel Porta Fira will be my place to stay. I absolutely loved the hotel experience there.

Room was clean and posh. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC won’t automatically be turned on unless you call and let them know you are warm. We had no AC for half of our stay. Room was a sauna until we called to complain. They told us they turn on AC on a room by room basis. The fitness facility was ok. Check on was quick and we were given our room very early.

I had a great stay at this place. It was sparkling clean, comfortable bed, quiet with blackout curtains. The only issue was it was pretty far from the city center. On one hand being far from the city center meant more peace and quiet however on the other hand the commute was a bit exhausting and time consuming. Overall it was a good stay and I enjoyed it.

Internet access was good but sometimes slow. Beds were reasonably comfortable for twin beds. We had a nice high floor which gave us a great view. Currently, there is a lot of construction on a new building next door to the hotel so it can sometimes be loud, but not when it's time to sleep. There is a mall within walking distance that has LOTS of food options. The amazing bakery/coffee shop, Fraggia, is here and it's AMAZING! Overall, good value for the money and lovely staff.

Here's a review I had a pleasant stay at the hotel and was satisfied with its accessibility. Everything about the hotel was good overall. However, I found the welcome service and customer service to be lacking. One major issue was the glass shower, which caused water to spill out into the hotel room. Additionally, the receptionist, a woman, had a very cold demeanor and did not even greet us upon our arrival. While the hotel itself was nice, these service aspects could use improvement

Metro L9 vom/ zum Airport hält gegenüber dem Hotel. Super Anbindung mit Bus oder Bahn in die City und zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer mit tollem Blick über Barcelona. Zimmer waren sehr ruhig. Man hat kaum Geräusche gehört. Frühstück gut und bei sehr ruhiger und entspannter Atmosphäre. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen .

Ein tolles Hotel, welches zu empfehlen ist. Mitarbeiter. Sauberkeit und Art der Zimmer sind wirklich gut, gleiches gilt für das Frühstück. Einzig der Standort ist für einen Aufenthalt in Barcelona bedingt zu empfehlen, da einiges an Zeit für das Pendeln in die Innenstadt aufkommt. Da aber die Metro in der Nähe ist, ist es grundsätzlich ok. Somit das Gesamtfazit: ein tolles u d empfehlenswertes Hotel

We loved our stay at Hotel Porte Fina! Here are bullet points as to why: • Very clean, modern hotel just outside Barcelona (about 500m!). It has a striking unique structure and in our particular room we could see the Olympic Stadium and tower the distance. • The breakfast! Freshly made each morning with a variety of eggs, meats such including fresh raw salmon slices, fruit, bread, pastries, standard juices and specialty juices (ginger/spinach/lime and orange/ginger/something else), 2 espresso makers and more. Great way to start the day! • Bed was very comfortable • It’s in a very safe, quiet area • As others have said, both bus and train stations are within easy asking distance. This made it highly convenient to get in and out of Barcelona proper. • Very close to a large shopping mall with man restaurants, cinema, etc. •The staff…they are so kind, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They know their way around and helped us get wherever we wanted to go via train, bus and taxi. All in all, we would highly recommend Hotel Porta Fina to anyone wanting a trip pace to stay in a quieter area where you can sleep well.
