Hotel Oasis

Upon arrival the female receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, giving info on bus routes and facilities, plus offering to get us a taxi when we left. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to both the port and the gothic quarter. The hotel facilities are excellent, offering a lovely terrace with small pool, the bar of which stays open until late. The bedroom, bathroom and bedroom terrace were all excellent, with tea/coffee facilities plus a small fridge. Was very pleased with everything about this hotel.

A great place to stay. Terrace & pool was awesome as was all the staff. If i ever go back to Barcelona will definitely stay here.

Nice terrace

The hotel is pleasant with a fabulous location. It also has a nice rooftop terrace, but the drinks are rather pricey. Take care whilst booking, I did not realise i had booked an Interior room. This does not have a window with and view, though does have a frosted glass window which is openable. My room was a little bit small and at times felt a bit claustrophobic. On the whole, i would stay again but only in an exterior room with a view.

Veldig koselig, fint og rent hotell med flott beliggenhet i Barcelona. Hyggelig betjening og fint rom med kjøleskap og vannkoker. Et lite minus for renhold sent på ettermiddagen enkelte dager, men renholdet i seg selv var upåklagelig. Koselig terrasse med basseng og bar. Kunne vært flere solsenger, da det var mye folk der. Vi, som bare var to, fikk heller ikke lov av betjeningen til å sitte i en sofa beregnet på fire (selv om vi så at et annet par fikk lov til dette en halv time senere. Det trekker også litt ned at vi ikke fikk lov til å drikke medbrakt vann på terrassen. Litt sært når vi tross alt var gjester på hotellet. Alt i alt et veldig bra hotell, med noen få bagateller som trekker litt ned fra toppkarakter.

Sehr schönes Hotel, fantastisch gelegen, jedoch sind die Standardzimmer zum Innenhof raus zu klein! Die sollten für 1 Person sein. Frühstücksbüffet sollte mehr vegane Optionen haben, ansonsten sehr lecker! Das Personal ist sehr nett und die Dachterrasse mit Pool einmalig!

Ein sehr ruhiges, sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Alle sprechen gutes Englisch - sehr zu empfehlen ist der Aussenbereich im 2. Stock! Cocktails und das Essen sind sehr zu empfehlen! Bei Gelegenheit buche ich wieder!

Well situated, close to Metro Station and Beach. Unfortunately the small Pool was Not available in the Morning. Opening at 13 h until evening. I would have preferred to swim in the Morning before starting the Fax.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by finding a small cockroach in the bathroom. This was highly disappointing and raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards of the hotel. While the staff was friendly or the location was convenient, the presence of a pest significantly detracted from my stay. I believe this issue warrants attention, as it impacts the hotel’s quality and reputation

Bathroom could have been cleaner (other people’s trash in the garbage, roll of toilet paper half used and bathroom smelled a bit strange)

Great location, not far from the port and seaside. Plenty of great restaurants and bars in close proximity. The hotel and room were clean, and staff members were relatively friendly. It was nice that our teas, coffees and milks in our kitchenette were restocked each day, and great that the hotel provided shampoo and shower gel. We did have some issues with our cards working (we learned the trick of lifting the handle before tapping the card, thanks to the helpful cleaner!), and this was resolved quickly. However, we did spot 2 cockroaches running through our bathroom.

The phonic isolation is terrible. You can hear everything happening in the other rooms. The cleaning of the room is not great. I had hairs from previous customers in the sink and shower.

Jeg bodde 7 netter på superior exterior room. Hadde ikke frukost. Veldig renslig, vask av rom hver dag om man ønsker. Veldig hyggelige resepsjonister. Elsker atmosfæren med café i resepsjonen😍 kommer tilbake!

Overall, our room had a terrace area that overlook the city. It was great. Great location, close to airport and cruise terminal. Walking distance to the aquarium with lots of food options. Only downside was the bed. It was a side by side twin that wasn’t connected. So the bed kept sliding apart. Plus, the mattress was too firm for my liking. It was not very good sleep for me.

Walls were very thin and voices were heard in the late evening. Otherwise very nice including the staff.

The standard room is incredibly small with terrible use of space. Theres not even space to open a suitcase and still walk about the room. Everything else about the hotel is okay. Decent location, friendly staff, clean etc.

The hotel is in a great location close to the sea, and to the metro stop. It is clean and bright, the reception and bar area are welcoming and comfortable and a great place to catch up with people or to work online. The staff were friendly and helpful. My bedroom, bathroom and balcony were all of high quality and comfort. The main drawback for me was being disturbed by other residents throughout the night. The walls of the bedrooms must be very thin unfortunately.

The rooms were updated and clean the staff friendly and so helpful it was the perfect little place in a perfect area to shop and eat take the bus.

The location is great, same goes for service. The room we got was super odd, tiny and bathroom had a see though door that provided zero privacy.

Room was nice a spacious but we got “upgraded” to a larger room that didn’t have elevator access and was overheated. The air conditioning didn’t work great so we had to open the windows to regulate the temps. Otherwise it was well placed between the beach and the gothic quarter and was near lots of restraints and metro access. Made getting around a breeze.

This clean and comfortable boutique hotel, was delightful, Except for two badly trained employees … When I went for a swim at the pool, I asked for a towel from the pool attendant. He wanted my room key but I explained I left it in the room. I did not understand his response in Spanish so he raised his voice, saying “identity, identity”. Thinking he wanted my name and room number, I gave them but he kept loudly repeating ‘identity’, much to the amusement of the other pool guests and my embarrassment. We were getting nowhere so I had to return to my room for my bathroom towel before swimming but the intended relaxing afternoon was spoiled. After my swim and apparently as further punishment for trying to ‘sneak’ into the pool, all of the other pool guests were offered refreshment except me. I was only offered suspicious looks by the attendant. When I later told the front desk manager of this attendant’s impolite behavior, he said that, since their lobby stairwell accessed the 2nd floor pool, anyone might walk in to use the pool plus towel use was registered to a room number. So older white haired women in bathing suits commonly sneak in the small lobby from the city street past their front desk?! And my word is untrustworthy so it was my own fault I was treated poorly? No polite explanation or apology or call to the front desk to validate that I was a guest. Instead, I was made to feel I was cheating and and ostracized. Shame on you Hotel Oasis. From the sneaky old lady.

Great hotel in a great spot by Barceloneta! We walked most of the time I was there and went to things like club Opium, the mall, Las ramblas, Gothic Quater, the beach. There’s a ton of food spots if you walk towards the beach as well. It’s also right by the tram station so getting on the train is convenient! Staff was really nice and was nice to store our bags and explore even after checkout! If you go to Vela BCN they have great Hookah and Paellah if you show him my Instagram @wentghosttt and say I told you to go they’ll give you free drinks!

Like Barcelona itself, Hotel Oasis is fun, welcoming, and very cosmopolitan! You will be greeted by friendly, professional, yet lively staff at the desk who speak multiple languages. The adjacent cafe is small but capable and serves locals, guests, and tourists excellently. The room was clean, modern, and absolutely perfect for my mom and I, especially for our first time in Barcelona :) Location? You can NOT ask for better, in my opinion! You literally have a bus stop right out front, as well as local taxi and uber stop across the street. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk, which is lined with ample convenience stores, restaurants, and shops. I'm writing this from an American tourist perspective, however, there are tons of traditional Barcelona aspects to staying here, once you understand how diverse and multicultural the city is itself. You will be safe, well-located, well-attended to, and wont want to leave :) You are approximately 15-20 minute walk from the BEST mercado and La Rambla, and approximately 30 minutes from La Sagrada Familia (download the app and book in advance). Do yourself a favor, especially if you are a first-timer here, and stay at Hotel Oasis!

We booked a Superior Room courtyard view but on arrival we were put into a street view room which was too noisy. We asked to be put into the room type we had booked. This was done and we left our bags in the room while we went out for meal. When we came back we were informed by reception that our bags had been removed because they thought we had left things in the first (street-view) room - we hadn't. So apparently they had given our room away to another customer and physically removed our bags. In our view it is very bad practice and very unprofessional to physically remove our bags from the room we had been allocated and give the room away to another customer. Eventually we were given another room (third time lucky!) which matched what we had originally booked but the whole experience left us feeling angry, frustrated and somewhat violated. The whole issue needs looking into by the hotel management and hopefully we will receive compensation. Essentially our holiday was ruined by the hotel and by BA who lost our suitcases!! On the positive side the hotel is in a great location and rooms / facilities generally good. Staff generally pleasant / helpful but our experience on our first evening indicates some issues around professionalism, customer service, and organisation.

Area around the Hotel was great. 10 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to the Gothic District. Really enjoyed the Terrace on the 2nd Floor. However the staff were not at all accommodating, the bed were not at all comfortable and the noise outside of the room was loud. The breakfast had a lot of options but the food was tasteless. Make sure you tally the drinks at the Terrace as they definitely overcharged us whilst at the pool.

Fantastic hotel! Clean modern rooms, walking distance to everything you need in Barcelona. Staff were polite, friendly and efficient. My mini fridge was broken when I checked in but was fixed once we was back from dinner- perfect service!

Absolutely Disappointing Stay – Zero Accountability from Management I am utterly disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I specifically reserved a non-smoking room due to asthma, yet I was placed directly in front of the pool entrance where loud parties took place every night. Guests were smoking nonstop, and my entire room reeked of cigarettes to the point where I could barely breathe. The air conditioning was broken, leaving me sweating all night. When I called the front desk for assistance, I was told to “just open the window”—which only made everything worse. It was raining heavily for two days, and opening the window let in humidity, moisture, and an overall damp, disgusting feeling throughout the room. When I brought these issues to the attention of the staff, including Oscar at the front desk and the manager, Raul, I was assured that Raul would follow up and provide some form of compensation or solution for the inconvenience. He never followed up. No call, no discount, no acknowledgment—absolutely nothing. For the amount of money I paid, this level of service is unacceptable. The staff not only failed to address serious health and comfort concerns, but actively avoided responsibility. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here. This was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Location is great. Our room was ok, but had bad smell coming from the bathroom in the beginning. They were able to fix that/ or the drain was just dry and using the shower helped. Staff weren’t focused on customer experience or satisfaction. I had very strange “cutlery battle” with staff. I asked to have some spoons to take with me to our room to make tea. We had water heater and tea and sugar but no spoons. I was told no, because customers tend to steal cutlery and therefore they have strict rules for that. In the end I got one spoon after the receptionist had called to the manager who accepted my humble wish for using a 0,10€ Ikea type of metal spoon in our room. We paid almost 200€ per night so obviously stealing some cutlery was our key concern when staying in a hotel in Barcelona.

Superb location next to the Gothic Quarter, Seaport & beaches.

Mycket mysigt hotell med bra läge. Dock var vårat rum placerat ovanför Mr Robinson som var ett jättetrevligt ställe för lättare mat & dryck men som blev nattklubb på nätterna. Vi hörde festen fram till kl 02.00 när dem stängde.

We could not have picked a better place for our stay in Barcelona. The location is perfect - easy walk to the beach, the Gothic quarter, bus stop near the entrance. The front desk was very helpful and the room was quiet, clean, and had everything we need including a universal outlet in the bathroom and a USB plug in the main room. We have friends who live in Barcelona and they even said what a great location this was. Also, the morning Continental Breakfast is nice and reasonably priced. Top notch!

This is certainly the hotel to choose if you're looking for a city break to Barcelona!! It's super clean, high spec, amazing staff who are super helpful when it comes to recommendations. You are central to everything within minutes of walking with the added bonus of being close to the beautiful port.

This place has everything you needed (even a pool!) except room service (that I know of) and a gift shop, But there\'s a café so it\'s fine. The only disappointment I had was that they closed the rooftop terrace for the winter. I understand it\'s extra work to keep up while the pool is not in use, but it would have been nice to get some "private" fresh air instead of the streets.

The property is a boutique style hotel which is lovely. The breakfast had an excellent choice and cooked fresh eggs for us on request. All of the reception staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming especially carolito. The rooms were cleaned each day and fresh towels in the room. The roof pool is lovely and was welcome in the heat. Pool bar is great. The location is near Barcelonetta beach and a short walk to the metro and the bus stop. Plenty of restaurants around and some very good ones in the little squares off the main street leading down to the beach. Just a perfect three day break. Would definitely return to this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location of the hotel is excellent and everything was within walking distance, yet it was quiet at night. The breakfast was good with a decent selection and fresh options. Our room was clean and nicely furnished, and the staff was truly outstanding – very friendly and helpful at all times. Unfortunately, the bed was really uncomfortable and even caused some back pain. I don’t know if I could do a week of the mattress again. One thing that surprised me: when I accidentally dropped a serving fork at the breakfast buffet and apologized, the staff – although very kind – simply placed it back on the buffet instead of replacing it. That was the last time I used any of the shared serving utensils. All in all, a good experience with a few things to improve. Would recommend with warnings on the bed.

Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed, 15min gang fra stranden og centrum. Vi havde et dejligt værelse med terrasse og det er værd at anbefale :) Man skal IKKE vælge hotellets morgenmad, det er simpelthen spild af penge. 18€ pr person pr dag er rent tyveri. Brug i stedet pengene på en af de nærliggende caféer nede ved havnen.
