Beautiful guest house with lush terrace in the middle. Gerald was easy to reach via WhatsApp. I loved that the rooms had a name, mine was “cardamom” and I love having a real key for the room. My room had a window opened to the terrace and it looked like a painting. I had cleaning service during the day which is not common anymore and I appreciated that. The location is perfect, I walked everywhere. I parked in the parking garage on a nearby street and that was fine. Overall lovely.

On the morning leaving for breakfast, human waste was discovered near the entrance. Furthermore, early morning construction noise from the lower level disrupted our sleep. El Riad Andaluz is a delightful hotel on a quiet pedestrian street. The central atrium with many climbing plants is a lovely place to sit. The owner (with his very friendly cat) looked after us well. Highly recommended.

Pretty and very characterful traditional home. Our room was interesting—pretty Moroccan style furnishings such as a painted ceramic sink. Quite small but adequate, though the bed was against the wall so one person had to climb over the other to get out. Alright if you’re young but one of us is in our 70’s. A door on the toilet would have been much appreciated. Tea making was provided in a common area but not before 8:30 am which is quite late to wait for a cup of drink in the morning! Overall it seemed a bit pricy for the accommodation. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Cozy, well located, quiet place. The riad is located in a quiet, pedestrian street, centrally located, but away from loud bars. The rooms are well lit and look much better in person. The place offers beach towels and umbrellas to take to the beach, along with recommendations for breakfast and lunch spots.

It's a beautiful guest house with lots of charm. The host was polite and spoke English. The nearby car park cost €46 for 2 days and is a 2 minute walk. The location is great with a max of 30 minutes walk to most of the main locations. The rooms are a little smaller than anticipated and no kettle in the room, although there is a communal kettle in the foyer. There's no TV in the rooms (doesn't bother me but some people may expect it). The walls are very thin so you will have to be cautious of noise. Overall not a bad stay, expected a little more for the money but it was a last minute trip.

Schöne kleine Unterkunft in Fussweite zur tollen Altstadt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer kleinen autofreien Gasse und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Zimmer sind einfach gehalten und im maurisch/orientalischen Stil dekoriert, es ist aber alles da was man braucht. Der sehr grün bepflanzte Innenhof gibt dem Ganzen nochmal eine Atmosphäre wie in 1000 und einer Nacht. Die Plaza de la Merced ist quasi ums Eck, die Altstadtgassen in nicht mal 5 Minuten erreicht und in knapp 10 Minuten steht man vor der Kathedrale - perfekte Lage für einen Besuch von Malaga.

We stayed in the Badiane room, which is decorated in a lovely way. The downside is that the window opens to the corridor that is connected to the inner courtyard. It does have air conditioning. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard for tea and coffee.

The location is okay, but the rooms are very small and the beds quite hard. All in all, it's worth the low price. What's absolutely unacceptable, however, are the BED BUGS, which left over 40 nasty bites!!!

The atmosphere was excellent—old style Arabic/Old Spanish establishment with internal courtyard and rooms with internal windows. A very authentic feel and dare I write, quaint. There was no noise from outside. Internal noise echoed a bit but the other guests weren’t noisy. The bed was spotlessly clean. The shower head needed a gasket to stop the water spraying everywhere except from the shower head itself! The holder on the wall for the shower head itself was too worn out to hold the shower head so I had to hold the shower head or rest it on the taps. The sink plug was fully inserted and to get it out so the sink could drain I had to dig it out with my fingernails. The hotel is close to the town’s restaurants and bars and the Alcazar and Roman Teatro. Excellent. I really enjoyed my stay but the shower and sink need some TLC. Get that fixed and it’s a gem.

Arrivati l'hotel si presenta come un piccolo riad marocchino. Saliamo in camera e....orrore. pavimento sporco di capelli e cosi tutto il letto e i cuscini. Avvisiamo il proprietario che ci cambia il lenzuolo. Bagno minuscolo e inesistente, era una parete che divideva il letto dal water senza soffitto e senza porta ma una tendina. Pessima esperienza

Las instalaciones muy faltas de mantenimiento. En las camas lo único limpio fueron las sábanas. Cometí el error de tumbarme sobre la colcha y todo fueron picores (¿ácaros?), La "alcachofa de la ducha se desprendió con solo tocarla, después lo comunique en recepción y su reacción me dio a entender que no era la primera vez que se lo hacían saber. Lo dicho falta de mantenimiento y limpieza. Resumiendo "precio no acorde a lio que se ofrece".

The room is cozy with its own private balcony. The decor and architecture is amazing and all the plants. The bed was firm and comfortable. Especially the pillow. It was chilly but they have central heat air and a hot plate to warm up room. Hot water takes a minute in shower. A tiny shower, got to make sure you put a towel on the floor. The location is amazing so close to everything within walking distance from all the sites. I loved staying here. Also felt very safe. TGNCIQ friendly.

Chambre minuscule: le lit double est très proche du lit simple. La pièce "salle de bain + WC" n'a pas de porte. Et il y a seulement un mur de séparation avec la chambre mais qui ne monte pas jusqu'au plafond: il n'y a pas d'intimité dans les WC (on entend tout depuis la chambre et on sent tout!). Les WC sont posés devant l'ouverture de la douche: pas confortable. Pas d'espace de rangement dans la chambre pour ouvrir les valises

Hoteller har en veldig god beliggenhet og bygget er veldig fint. Senga var hard men det er i det minste en overmadrass som hjelper litt. Og det er ganske lytt ut i gangen, men det gikk for det meste greit. Kan absolutt anbefale hotellet

From the start, El Riad Andaluz has been very accomodating and throughout our whole stay. The place is very quiet, and charming. We had a balcony where we enjoyed spend some time. The size of the room can be tricky / surprising, to some people as it gets crowded with 2 people but if you spend your whole day exploring it's not an issue. Do keep in mind the AC is noisy so if you're a light sleeper: bring something to block out the noise of it. Other than that, we had a lovely time staying at El Riad Andaluz thanks to is perfect walking distance from the Historic center of Màlaga. Thnak you to El Riad for having us !

Beautiful Andalucian house with cute interior patio. Small rooms but adequate. We didn’t like the bathrooms because had no doors, only curtains and the bathroom walls did not reach the ceiling. We had to take turns out of the room, to have some privacy while we used the bathroom…

The room we got was so small. There was no tv, small fridge, snall bed, and very poor running air conditioning. My son stayed down the street in a hostel and he had a better room, more spacious, better air conditioning, a tv, a huge private bathroom, and lots of light. This place is not worth the money. The only good thing about this place is its location.

Property was nice, street outside was not great. The guy who greeted us was a bit off. Didn’t want to be there or seemed bothered and agitated with work in general. Might have been the owner, but he is very short tempered. Everyone has bad days, but running a hospitality business, attitude is key. And this is coming from being in the business for 20 years.

I am not happy to write this review: I had the chance to see the owner of El Riad Andaluz is really passionate about this hotel. Although, my experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory. For this reason, I have to warn potential customers about the fact that some of the rooms (such as the one I booked), have extremely low hygiene-sanitary conditions. The layout, with the bathroom directly integrated into the bedroom without proper separation, was not only aesthetically displeasing but also a clear violation of hygiene regulations. The lack of privacy and the potential for cross-contamination were alarming. It's baffling that the hotel would compromise such basic standards. I would caution anyone considering staying here to think twice about their health and comfort. I remark the fact that this "feature" is not explained in the hotel description, nor it visible from the pictures listed in the website. I didn't appreciate how the owner managed my claim, as he didn't offer any refund in case we would leave the room (he said he would offer to us a refund in case he had found new customers). I think this behavoiour was not fair from the owner.

The room was perfect for my solo stay. The hotel is perfectly located next to anything you could want to walk to. The host gave me great recommendations for meals and sights. He was accommodating to my arrival time and everything went as smooth as could be. I’ll definitely return.

L´acceuil a ete parfait ,les conseils de notre hote precieux. A mis a notre disposition un taxi a l'aéroport et pour le retour. J´ai beaucoup aime ce petit riad aux accent méditerranéens .une petite confortable avec vue sur cour intérieure et surtout une clim fonctionnelle. La chambre est faite tous les jours . Vraiment sympa chez vous Monsieur !

Schöne kleine Unterkunft in Fussweite zur tollen Altstadt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer kleinen autofreien Gasse und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Zimmer sind einfach gehalten und im maurisch/orientalischen Stil dekoriert, es ist aber alles da was man braucht. Der sehr grün bepflanzte Innenhof gibt dem Ganzen nochmal eine Atmosphäre wie in 1000 und einer Nacht. Die Plaza de la Merced ist quasi ums Eck, die Altstadtgassen in nicht mal 5 Minuten erreicht und in knapp 10 Minuten steht man vor der Kathedrale - perfekte Lage für einen Besuch von Malaga.

Very good place to stay! It's perfect for a few days or even a week if you're looking for a quiet and comfortable place to sleep. The landlord communicates very well, is responsive, and takes good care of everything. My only suggestion would be to have a kettle in each room so guests can make coffee or tea in the morning, instead of having to use the shared lobby at certain times. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the place and the landlord. I would happily stay here again.
