The hotel was very clean and the gentleman working behind the front desk was very friendly and tried his very best to help with questions we had about traveling around Dali. The hotel is right in the middle of Dali Ancient City, so if that's what you want the location is excellent. It's a bit of a ride to the train station, but Didi's are very affordable. The hotel is very hard to find and the translation for the name of the hotel from English to Mandarin doesn't give the right name of the hotel. It took us awhile to find the hotel and even our DiDi driver from the airport didn't know the name of the hotel, somehow we found it. It's a small boutique hotel with clean rooms, comfortable bed, and breakfast made to order. Overall it was a good stay for the price.

Everything was pretty good .....except there was no bathroom wall. It would be helpful to install a Chinese partition between the bathroom and the bed.
