Location is great , walk distance to the bund, pedestrian shopping avenue and Yu Yuan. Every staff member was very nice and helpful. Swimming pool, hot tub, sauna room and steam room, all are very good and relaxing.

Very geand hotel that is well kept despite being a bit aged. Very impressive foyer and accessibility by the lifts is exceptional. Very good location wirh walking distance to a lot of sights. Plenty of small supermarkets nearby as are some great restaurants. Reception try to over promote the "upgrades" to your booking to a point where it becomes annoying. Once they realised that I wasn't going to buy it, they totally became uninterested in us and we had to get our own bags and find our room. Even had to ask them where the lifts were and just got a point in the general direction. Very disappointing. Four concierges could not answer if Metro has tap and go with Visa card. I was told to go to station myself and find out. Room was spacious and very clean.

위치가 정말 너무 좋았어요. 난징동루 바로 옆이라 특히 맛집들이 가까이 있어 좋았어요. 처음 체크인하고 배정받은 방에 들어갔을때 담배냄새가 너무 나서 방 교체 요청했는데 바로 해주셨어요. 다음 방에서도 냄새가 조금 났지만 그럭저럭 지낼만 했구요. 침대랑 이불이 편안해서 좋았습니다.

The location is very convenient and the service is great! However it is an older hotel… The shower room smells like musty sewage; even when you shower the musty smell just lingers. There are also a lot of stains on the carpet. It doesn’t seem like they clean the carpet.

The location of the property is excellent. The hotel is near a subway station, the famous Nanjing road and the Waitan. The hotel room is spacious and the lobby is beautiful. The hotel is outdated and the shower room was not clean. However overall, the hotel is excellent and definitely will stay again if I visit Shanghai again.

Rude employees. Room not cleaned over 5 day stay. Sheets not changed. Argued with guests. Better hotels right across the street. Crown Plaza, Radisson, etc. Used to stay here for business but NEVER AGAIN!! Looks good but it has gone down. Try other places. Don’t get fooled like I did.

Room size very good! Located on an excellent location. One block from the famous walking shopping street. The staffs are excellent. The only thing need to improve is the hair dryer, air comes out way too strong. Definitely gave you a typhoon hairstyle.

The front office outrightly rejected the request for check-in at 12noon citing only that check-in time is at 2pm. The reception did not even bother to check whether any rooms are available. Guests from overseas do frequently arrived at odd hours of the day. Some improvements required for the front office staff to handle such requests more tactfully. And when it was time to check-in at 2pm, the front office staff are overwhelmed with the long-queue of hotel guests checking-in all at the same time. Adequate staffing should be deployed to ensure smooth check-in by guests.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It’s conveniently located near the Nanjing East Pedestrian Mall and the Metro. However, please note that the hotel does not offer self-service laundry facilities. A deposit of ¥2,500 was required upon check-in via credit card, which the hotel stated would be refunded. As of the time of writing this review, the refund is still pending.

Always a great service from this hotel. I always arrive early and they always have a room ready for me- the main reason I always choose this hotel. Great location for sightseeing, easy 2 minute walk from line 2 exit 4 and good value.

Great hotel in the heart of Shanghai, less than 5 min walk from the pedestrian street and metro station with line direct to Pudong Airport. Rooms were large, well appointed, and very comfortable. Buffet breakfast had a large variety of western and asian food. Would recommend this hotel.
