This hotel located at a very convenient location, 10 mins walk from MTR, and attractions. Hotel is a bit old but the facilities are acceptable, service is excellent, provide coffee and snacks 24/7, we really appreciate the service from the hotel staff, they are all very friendly and helpful, and professional. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again if I visit Shanghai again. Thanks Green Court, you have an amazing team, good job and please keep it up.

The property is just minutes away from Nanjing Road pedestrian mall, People’s Square subway station, and Dashijie or Great World. There are dozens of restaurants in walking distance and you can have so many choices for meals. The People’ Square station has three subway lines including Line 1, Line 2 and Line 8. At the ground level, there are at least a dozen of bus lines in the walking distance that connect you to every direction of the city. The hotel is a bit noisy considering it is at the corner of Beijing Road and Xizang Road interaction, two major avenues of downtown Shanghai. But if you ask for a room in a higher level, you won’t be bothered much of the traffic noise. The room is very clean and spacious. There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, an cook top，and a set of cooking ware and dining ware for two people. I lived in a studio room and it didn’t have a washer and dryer combo, but I could still go down to a laundry room to do the laundry and pretty much didn’t have to wait for an empty unit. The staff were very nice and represented to the requests quickly. Overall, it is a very good place to stay in downtown Shanghai and I highly recommend it.

The family room I booked was large and the master bedroom had its own door. Jug, washer, dryer basic utensils provided. 6 bottles of water, topped up daily , large fridge, daily made service. Breakfast was excellent and was oncluded in my rate. Easy walk to metro and shops.

A limpeza foi satisfatória, com arrumações diárias realizadas pontualmente. Caso prefira que não limpem, basta solicitar. O hotel também conta com uma academia compacta, equipada com pesos, duas esteiras e uma bicicleta, o que é ótimo para manter a rotina de exercícios. Outro destaque é a lavanderia, que foi essencial durante nossa estadia prolongada, garantindo praticidade e conforto. We had the one bedroom which worked for 2 adults and a teenager. Walkabout to subway and Peoples Square about an 8 minute walk. Nice having a small kitchen and Landry machine that does a wash and dry cycle. Would definitely stay here again.

We always stay at Green Court Residence whenever we visit Shanghai and are always satisfied. We choose this property for its location, complimentary washing machines and dryers at laundry room even if some types of rooms do not have washing machine. Reception staffs are able to speak English and hotel staffs are friendly. Thank you for giving us an upgraded room for our recent stay. It was great! Looking forward to visit soon.

This was my second time when I stayed at the place August 25. This time, the apartment was boat as good as the first time. Certainly need to pay more attention on cleaning. Clearly a lot of mold on the sink in the bathroom, and many places, the sink in the kitchen, the wardrobe in the bedroom have very bad smell. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very clean room, super friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, easy accessible to metro station, nanjing street, bund etc. We stayed there for 8 nights, except for 1 night we can smell people smoking. Great location, and well maintained property but its getting old. They need to change the carpets and make it bright. The decor is old too but definitely worth staying. The facilities are great and the rooms are very spacious. The problem is that the Air conditioning is centrally controlled so if the hotel decides its cold outside, the only option is heat. If you are hot, you have no other option but to turn the AC off and open the windows. The other problem is that sometimes a smoker smoking in their room may spread the smoke into your room through the vents. So, not really good if you have problems with cigarette smoke.

This hotel is so close to the East Nanjing Rd and the metro station…the staff are friendly and helpful. The reasons I didn’t give the full five stars are you can‘t control the A/C temperature in the room and it’s too warm in the bedroom. Also the water temperature in the shower kept going down while we were taking the shower.

The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. BUT....their wifi was a chinese only setup so alot of the time I could not get google or whats app or my email. Sometimes these things worked, possibly on a signal from the Marriott across the street. REALLY FRUSTRATING. Otherwise, the place was great, convenient location to subway, shopping, food.

The all staffs are so friendly and very welcoming to us. Especially, I left my cell phone on the lobby ‘s reading table, one of staff kept it well and returned to me when I came back from meeting to the hotel around the evening. Gosh, what a disappointment. When we checked in we were passed around to different people, ignored while others pushed in and eventually got checked in to a room that was substandard to the one we booked. When we enquired as to moving rooms we were told there were none available. We specifically booked this hotel as it had a washing machine in the room and we were tight on time with one night in Shanghai, yet there was no washing machine in the room. So we had to waste time waiting in the laundry room for washing to finish so we could collect it before leaving. The room was much smaller than the pictures with no space, one chair at the table, even though it was booked for two people. We didn’t want to eat on the bed so had to go out, completely removing the requirement for a kitchen, again, another reason we booked here. The only positive is the location, which is excellent. Otherwise, the staff are chaotic, the rooms are not as described, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unfortunately our arrival was too early for checkin but no effort made to help us out with some early alternatives despite prior requests … and when 2pm checkout arrived room was still not ready. Otherwise location was great. Appartment sparsely furnished and no little things like dishwasher liquid or pit scrubber.

Fantastic location near people's square metro, around the corner of nanjing road, cafes, local restaurants and half hour walk to the bund. The staff was friendly and fluent in english. Great choice and we would come back any time.
