The Eton Hotel Shanghai

Hotel extraordinário pelo preço ofertado, tem até acesso exclusivo, via elevador, à estação de metrô por meio da Estação Pudong Avenue da Linha 4, foi facílimo ir do aeroporto de Hongqiao ao hotel. Os quartos são grandes, bem luxuosos, e o café da manhã também é excelente, bem servido e bastante variado. A academia de exercícios é relativamente boa, embora eu admita que não consegui operar todos os aparelhos disponíveis. Há uma loja de conveniência ao lado do hotel (salvo engano um Family Mart), muito boa e conveniente também. Enfim: foi a nossa segunda vez no hotel, e ficaria de novo caso algum dia eu retorne a Xangai.

The hotel has alot of false advertising. None of the facilities such as the bar, pool, spa exist. No idea how its classed as a 5 star hotel when it should at best be a 3.

As a gold expedia member and someone that has extensive experience when it comes to travelling, I will say from the get go that we did not feel welcome on arrival. You could probably replace the staff with robots for a better experience. In fact there was never any greeting initiated by the staff throughout our stay. Our room was tiny, which caught us off guard as we’d seen spacious rooms advertised online. The breakfast was limited in comparison to most hotels, as the salad and fruit section heavily lacked in variety, or even the choice of spreads for your toast - you only have the choice of butter, weirdly. It should also be noted that there are restrictions on what you can and can’t wear at the gym to be granted access. The positive was that the hotel is directly outside the metro entrance/exit, and there is a convenience store and mixue nestled on the sideline of the hotel, which we found to be quite convenient during our stay.

Das Frühstück war super! Es gab ein großes Buffet mit viel Auswahl. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer war wunderschön, mit tollem Blick auf die Stadt. Der Pool und das Spa waren während unseres Aufenthalts geschlossen.

The hotel room’s light was too low. Their pillow are way too stiff. The pool was not ready. Then they should not advertise the pool on their website.

11年ぶりの宿泊、施設老朽化が目立つ。ジムの利用時間が8時から20時で今回利用できずとても残念でした。

Although a few of the facilities were under renovation like the pool, bar and spa…we were notified of it. This did not take away from the fact that it is an Amazing Hotel. Best breakfasts by far. Walkable to the Brand Mall, Pearl Tower etc. or just a $5 DDI ride. We will definitely return to Shanghai and only stay at The Eton. Total value for the money. A

Terrible hotel, dirty room and rude staff. Stay away

El hotel está fenomenal, rodeado de rascacielos y con unas vistas y un ventanal impresionante. Nuestro habitación además tenía una bañera gigante para dos. Está en la puerta del metro y a la Shanghai Tower se tarda 10 minutos andando. Lo único a mejorar es la limpieza de la moqueta. El desayuno no lo probamos porque nos pareció caro respecto al precio del alojamiento.

住宿家庭房，房間很大，住起來卻沒有舒適感。淋浴間散發臭味，housekeeping 來清理兩次，仍無法改善。 早餐乏善可陳。 讚賞housekeeping。

施設が古い。清潔ではあるがカーペットや壁が汚い。フロントも親切な感じはしない。

酒店設備有點舊 電視不能看 廁所浴室清潔一般 發現有頭髮在浴室內 其他還好

Stay 5 nights in room with river view, the view was great, but the room was not the cleanest, the bathroom and toilet were not very clean. There was sense of smoke 1 night, in the middle of the night, may have come through the A/C system, find it hard to breath. Breakfast have limited selection, not enough varieties.

숙소가 아주 깔끔하고 넓었습니다. 방에 우산이 비치되어있어서 갑자기 비가 왔을때 편리했습니다. 호텔 바로 앞에 간단하게 사먹을 만한 음식점이 있었고, 마사지 할 곳도 많습니다. 편의점도 2개 있습니다. 바로 앞에 지하철 역이 있어서 이동하기 편했고, 택시(디디)도 5분내로 잡히는 편입니다. 방에 문제가 있어서 말씀드리니 바로 조치를 취해주셨고, 그래도 해결 안되니까 방을 업그레이드 해주셨습니다. 그 외에 청소해주시는 분들(영어X)친절하시고, 번역기로 불편/요청사항 들어주셨습니다. 다만, 호텔 내에서 금연임에도 불구하고 담배 피는 짱dog가 있어서 객실이나 객실복도 쪽에서 담배냄새가 좀 납니다. (직접 목격함) 담배냄새에 예민한 분이시라면 고려해보세요.

床大張，但是行李箱架太小，空間不好運用 浴缸每次泡澡得再自己沖洗，因為都會有灰塵⋯但房內基本清潔是可以的，客房服務很迅速，有提供一次性刮鬍刀，但要注意使用，我在其中一天沒注意使用到破損的，割傷下巴，但不礙事 空調溫度無法調冷，悶熱得開窗，但窗外有餐館的油煙味飄入，我們住禁煙房，但幾天住宿也有煙味瀰漫在房間內 3樓是早餐供應處，衛生間也是有煙味，不曉得是員工躲裏邊抽菸還是如何了 這邊優勢離地鐵近，附近也有超市、水果店、餐館、蜜雪冰城

Situé tout près du métro. Grande chambre avec vue panoramique sur les tours et la rivière

Room is reasonable sized. Bed is too hard for comfort and pillow too soft. Hotel entrance is a short distant to the metro line 2 and 14. Eatery and Family mart is just beside the hotel.

객실이 깨끗하고 넓고 특히 창밖의 뷰가 너무 예뻤습니다! 좋은 가격에 좋은 숙소 였어요

The room lights are dimmed, especially in the shower room. It’ll be better if lights brighter overall.

Local near station. Affordable hotel price m. Room was nice although a bit dated.

Room is big, cleaning lady service top notch and helpful. Water pressure, bath tub solid, clean. Solid beautiful view of outside due to high floor #33. Location of hotel was good with convience stores beside. Breakfast was decent at best. Room lighting too dim for my liking. Pillow way too soft that i need to stack bath towel on top to make it firm, internet not as fast and good as I hope otherwise all else are good. Will like to try other hotel in a more vibrant place next time.

Room is clean, with a nice view on the bund river. Location is excellent as it is next to the metro. Breakfast was great with a wide variety. Many small shops beside to look around, there is also mixue, a beef noodle shop and convenience store.

Somewhat tired interior but there is No air conditioning. Perhaps lost in transaltion but it apparently only blows air around, I complained and got moved to another room same problem. I had to get housekeeping to open the windows for some relief but then had to put up with the noise and polution all night.

When I arrived, I was told that my reservation information was not available and the front desk could not check me in. I could only communicate with the reservation website staff through the APP, which took about an hour to resolve. Fortunately, I was upgraded in the end, which slightly relieved my unpleasant mood.

Clean room, friendly staff

This hotel boasts the most unfriendly staff I’ve ever encountered in all my travels.I booked a 5 nights stay,which was marred by poor service from the start.Upon checkin,front desk staff Mia Wang was noticeably impatient when answering questions,while it was an unpleasant 1st impression,I initially brushed it off.The room itself was subpar: the lighting was very dim,making it impossible to apply makeup properly,even with the blinds open.The mirrors were smudged,staff frequently conversed loudly in the hallways.It got worse on day 3.I needed to check out 1 day early for a surgery.Expedia sent the request,but the hotel claimed they never received it.A 2nd request was sent,I personally called the hotel to assist.The staff was impatient &claimed the "incorrect form"was used.I went to the front desk & spoke with Mia Wang again.After explaining my medical circumstances,she dismissively stated:”It’s not my duty to find out your booking request.”I insisted she call the booking department,the woman on the phone was equally hostile,raising her voice at me for asking how to proceed.Due to these inexcusable delays & stress,I checked out early.The front desk manager,Kevin Chen,offered a hollow apology after I showed him my medical documents.He said“I’m sorry about your experience” but it was clear it was insincere.Ultimately, the hotel rejected my refund request after I had already left.Thankfully, Expedia understood my predicament & processed the refund. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Very bad staff they forget get a copy of my passport when I was in the way to the airport they called had to go back to the hotel to be late for my flight Very bad never will be again in this hotel!!!!

Wir hatten zuerst ein Deluxe Zimmer. Dies hatte jedoch einen recht merkwürdigen Geruch, welcher auch nicht durch die Lüftung wegging. Haben ohne Probleme ein anderes Zimmer, sogar eine Suite bekommen. Frühstück war hervorragend, genug Auswahl. Das gesamte Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die meisten Mitarbeiter konnten gut englisch. Würde ich auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen

とても快適に過ごせました。アップグレードしていただきとても広い部屋を用意してくださいました。 浦東大道駅7Aと7Bから出てすぐの場所でアクセスもよかったです。14号線が近いです。 ホテルの下にコンビニ、ドリンクスタンド、軽食屋さんが2～3軒ほどあり便利です。 浦東空港からのアクセスも比較的良いです。 また上海に来るときはこちらの宿にしたいと思います。

It is located next to the subway station but is a little far from the center of Shanghai.

宿泊代は高かったが、部屋が広く、高層階で眺めがよかった。シャンプー、ソープが香水入りで気持ちよかった。地下鉄通路から直接エレベータで入れて便利だった。

Staffs are friendly and helpful. Great location, only a few steps away from closest subway station. Mini markets and quick eateries right next to the hotel. The hotel is definitely outdated and needs renovation but clean. No self service laundry facilities. Breakfast options just average in my opinion. Hot food is not really hot but rather warm maybe for safety reasons? It seems western food has better quality than eastern.

종류가 다양하고 넓고 쾌적한 조식, 직원응대 (영어 잘 통함), 서비스, 청결, 룸 넓이 등 전반적으로 8.5점 이상의 만족도 바로 앞에 지하철역이있고 편의점 2개, 카페등이 다양하게 있음 생일이라고 따로 말하지않았는데 방업그레이드 + 방에 케익과 메세지 카드 보내줌 감동받음 무엇보다 같이간 가족들이 너무만족해했음 따뜻한 물 콸콸콸 엄청 잘나옴 단점은 히터가 따뜻하지 않음. 방이 넓어서 그런지 방이 계속 춥다. 그것 외에 입구가 물이 누수된것처럼 부식되어있었음 (카펫, 문 틀 등) 위치가 아무래도 번화가는아니니 택시타고 이동해야함. 하지만 난징동루보다 덜 혼잡하고 조용해서 좋았다 3시쯤 체크인했는데도 불구하고 따로 쓰지않아서 그런지 제일낮은 25층을 줬다 그래도 야경이 매우 멋있었음

Lovely atmosphere, great service, and a delicious breakfast—an enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was great, good value for the money but I have had similar quality at Holiday inn Shanghai before. People are very nice and helpful; The rooms are very clean but a little bit aging for the spa. Overall rating is 4.5 over 5. Thanks for suggesting this hotel combined with the plane ticket.

Breakfast choices are great, however food and drinks are not hot.

Veldig fint hotell med god betjening. Rommet var rent og pent og hadde god utsikt mot byen. Frokosten var også god med en mix av vestlig og kinesisk kjøkken.
