Wonderful suite! Updated and cozy. The kitchen was wonderful and the room beautiful. It was our first time with contactless check-in but it worked out. The staff contacts you via email periodically and is responsive to questions. Only addition is we would have loved somewhere to recycle our aluminum and plastic bottles. Would definitely come again!

The renovation to this motel is very modern and well done. Loved the porch. Glad the vintage screen doors were kept. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The location can't be beat. It is very walkable. Loved Sunset Park.

When planning our first trip to Door County, our needs were simple, but hard to find. Many places say that they are dog friendly but then you find that they have weight restrictions or charge ridiculous fees. At Spruce and Shore, not only was our dog welcome for a reasonable fee, he was practically elected the mayor of Fish Creek. Tucked away from the action, we were able to take in everything that the area has to offer on foot and return to property for swimming breaks 3x a day (a huge plus for my 10yo son.) The rooms are stylish enough for the ‘gram, impeccably clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bedding was the perfect weight to feel tucked in, but also not too warm for summer. The best part? The other people staying there were all so kind and interesting, especially in the row of rooms where dogs are allowed. To top off the magic, we were surprised to have the best view of a local fireworks display right from the little porch. We only had time for a short getaway this summer. I’m so glad we booked this place. It was the perfect base camp for our Door County fun!

Love love love. Super cute stay and even had a feeding area for pets (made me sad I didn’t bring my pup). Room was clean and cozy. Patio was a nice touch tho there were a lot of spider - however this was true of the season so no ding there. I will be returning, next time with my pup.

We’ve stayed in all communities of Door Co. including Sturgeon Bay, Egg Harbor, Emphem, Sister Bay and Bailey’s Harbor, Fish Creek was the best place we’ve stayed (this past 4 day weekend). Shore was the best accommodations we’ve ever had in Door County. The suite was spacious, clean and has everything we needed. First class!

This place was amazing! The communication was excellent with the facility. We stayed and a bad storm hit that took out the power. When the power came back on, our A/C was out and within 30 min it was resolved after reaching out for assistance. I would 100% stay here again in the future! It was clean, cozy and quiet.

I booked a double queen suite, which clearly stated there were 2 queen beds in the room reserved. Upon check-in, there was only one queen bed in the space. When I contacted the motel about the issue, they said the pull-out couch was the second queen bed and declined to assist us with the situation. They blamed Expedia for any confusion.
