All in all a very average and tired hotel. Elevator seemingly long-time not functioning and all 1st floor guests have to carry their luggage up and down themselves! No laundry services! Room cleaning only on request and not very good!

Hotel is convenient to downtown New Providence with plenty of parking. Front desk was not staffed when I arrived at 9 pm, staff arrived after a few minutes but check in to my pre-paid room was slow. Spacious room as advertised with mini fridge and microwave. Room was clean and well appointed. Decent breakfast buffet included, and serviceable exercise room on site (no pool).Desk was also not staffed when I checked out.

The Hub is very convenient to visit family in summit, NJ. The facility is older but has been getting a facelift. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good. The elevator was out of service, but we stayed on the first floor so there wasn't a problem. We didn't try the restaurant, but there is one on the in the lobby.

Renovated rooms are very nice. Quick check-in and easy access to parking. Moe’s restaurant adjacent to hotel has a friendly bar and welcoming atmosphere. Will stay again when visiting family in the area.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. I was looking for a place to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Words cannot begin to express how much this hotel pays to detail. Since this was a birthday celebration I was a little hesitant about a 1st floor room. But no worries , this place did not disappoint. It was quiet and as far as I know we didn't receive any complaints either 😘.They had everything. Robes, dark makeup clothes, full breakfast- which was simple, delicious and filling, comfortable bed, fluffy pillows. I can go on and on. We drove from Burlington to Montclair to Berkeley Heights in a snow storm so the convenience of charging our EV at no cost was perfect. The hostess staff was more than accommodating.Shout out to Alley who met all of my crazy requests without hesitation. Looking forward to my stay. Next time we'll be sure to include dinner and we can experience the restaurant.

The property was in a beautiful neighborhood. Breakfast was included and very good. The gym had no water or cleaning wipes for machines. Our room was ok, could have been cleaner. Overall it was a good experience. I’d stay again.

We have stayed here before and loved it, it’s why we came back. This last stay was a bit disappointing, room and hallways had odd smells. Elevator was not working and lots of garbage in the hallways ( not the staff’s fault) but guests kept putting food garbage in hallways.

This hotel was ok. I found some stray hairs in the room the first night. The bed is a little too soft and there is a nice couch, but you can’t see the tv from it, so the only option is to sit on the bed. The hot water was hit or miss. Sometimes too hot and sometimes took forever to warm up. You can only get housekeeping if you ask, which was disappointing. The woman that worked during the day with long dark hair and glasses was very nice and came out the second you walked up to the desk. The woman that worked at night and was very dressed up wasn’t very good and took awhile to come out. I asked for an extra soap and she said she’d have it sent up and never did. The breakfast buffet was very good, although I wish they offered whipped cream and fruit for the waffles as I’ve seen at other hotels. The Halloween sprinkles for the waffles were cute though. The lighting and the charging options in the room were very good. Overall, a decent stay, but I think could have been better.

Me and my boyfriend had a one night stay here and wished we booked for more to take advantage of what they had to offer. The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious, the bathroom felt like home, and we had the best sleep ever on their beds. Will definitely be back for more.

A unique hotel. Rooms are spacious. Stayed for 3 nights. Bed was comfortable but needed a step to get up. The couch was convenient with a table to work at. The tv was a nice viewable size. The room also came with a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. Could have used a little more counter space but it was a roomy bathroom. My only concern was staying for 3 nights, I assumed my linens and towels would have been replaced. I was unaware I had to put out a sign for them to clean my room. Nice breakfast assortment and available still and sparkling water at the front desk and coffee/tea available. Overall I would stay here again.

I wasn’t able to use my room. I was at a swim meet next door at JAC. I am here often and thought it would be nice to stay over so as not to have to drive back early in the morning. My son got sick so I couldn’t stay. I was told there was nothing they could do. I was charged full rate for a room I didn’t use and I drove home. Not a happy customer

We have stayed at this property several times over the years and it’s always improving! A special shout out to Ali at the reception desk. She is an absolute asset to the company. She is friendly, accommodating and extremely welcoming.

Overall the stay was fine but our major issue involved a lack of communication about the attached restaurant. While I understand it is apparently a separate unaffiliated business (as explained to me at the front desk), it was the primary reason why we chose to stay at the hotel and it was closed for a wedding. The restaurant only advertises Sundays as days they have events and there was no signs posted on the door or anywhere earlier in the day. So this was a major inconvenience to us as we had planned to eat there that evening. Also, no management was available to speak to. I would advise to simply notify hotel customers with a sign the day before or at least morning of such events. It was a wedding so it’s not like a spur of the moment thing. I don’t want to hear about how it’s not the hotel’s responsibility. It’s advertised as an amenity that YOU have a restaurant.

Communication between Expedia and the hotel was not satisfactory. And the hotel seemed to think it was my fault rather than the fact that they weren’t communicating with each other. The hotel check-in person was rude and dismissive.

I have stayed at The Hub Murray Hill 2 times. Both times have been great! The hotel is clean, quiet and has amenities. Its location is perfect for my needs while I’m there. I will continue to stay there when I’m in NJ.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The day staff was awesome; the night clerk less than engaged. Breakfast eggs and potatoes were kinda gross (microwaved) and bagels were stale. Our last night was very, very noisy with new guests who were slamming doors and walking the halls all night.
