We enjoyed the welcome when we arrived! The room was good size with jacuzzi! Several problems were resolved by friendly staff! Nice two night stay. Walked on two paved paths for good exercise. IGA grocery store close by. Small sweet city!

Pros: decent sized room, hot tub, fireplace, plenty of hot water with good pressure. Truck parking in back (we had a UHaul). Laundry on site for those who are on a long road trip. Room was clean. Good option for a small town on the Alcan. Cons: no cable, with only basic TV channels, although there is a DVD player. Funky lighting, but we were able to switch out bulbs. No shower curtain in bathroom, but desk clerk brought one up and I was able to get it hung up. One washer in laundry, and there is a lot of truckers who stay here, so time your laundry visit right. No change machine, or ATM, so have Canadian coin on you. There isn’t vending for the laundry supplies, so go to the front desk and purchase one Tide Pod for a $1 and one dryer sheet for $0.50. Outdated property, but it’s been better maintained than a similar property in Dawson Creek.

I travel to northern bc 2-3 times a year for business and this is my favorite hotel love having a king suite with jacuzzi tub as a treat after 12-14hrs driving. Always clean, friendly staff and decent breakfast bar

The property and hotel room were a bit worn and dated. However, my room was huge and included a kitchenette, giant Jacuzzi bathtub and fireplace so for the money I felt like I hit the jackpot! I would absolutely stay there again for the value it offers and comfortable accommodations.

Very pleasant and quiet stay. Love the kitchenette in my room. Staff were polite and courteous. Room was comfortable and clean. Ample parking. Was just there for an overnight on the way up North, but picked the perfect layover to rest. Would stay again. Boston Pizza within walking distance was nice too after a very long drive. :)

I have stayed here before and each time it has been just what we needed on our trip through Canada after a long day of driving. Berry comfortable beds, quiet, easy to park my truck and trailer.

The hotel staff were friendly. The double queen beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was a nice plus. They had guest laundry available, but only one washing machine and two dryers. The hot breakfast was standard but good. No pool. The tub drain backed up while taking a shower and yet we couldn't get the drain stopper to keep water in the tub for our son's bath.

The housekeeping team did a poor job in preparing the room. There was dirt everywhere, the side tables were not dusted, and the floor was not properly mopped, with debris visible in the corners. Additionally, there was hair in the jacuzzi and the washroom. It was disappointing to see the lack of attention to cleanliness. On the other hand, the front desk ladies, Merielle and Kelly (I hope I have the names correct), both the AM and PM shift attendants, were exceptional in customer service and demonstrated great multitasking skills.

A nice, clean place to stay in Fort Nelson. In-room fridge and microwave. Clean laundry facilities on-site. Stayed 7 nights. Beds were comfy. Well stocked breakfast included. Would stay again.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. The room was a good size, plenty big. We had no view of but it was extremely dirty. Walls and ceiling looked like they’d never been wiped down, there was an inch of dust and dirt behind the desk, the curtains had visible stains on them and were so worn that they had holes in twas the worst I’ve ever slept in with the mattress so worn out we were sleeping on springs. The onsite restaurant was very good though. It’s a Japanese place with great servprices.

Stayed a couple of nights for business, the rooms are nice enough, although the view out back is not great. I found the hotel very hot. Would like to see reusable cutlery and dishes at the breakfast area instead of disposables.

Room was great, staff was great. View was terrible the backside of hotel backs onto a very run down trailer park with boarded up windows. Very poor internet(room 201) i couldnt stream netflix on my tablet in the evening and i had some work to do on my laptop in the morning and it was super slow and not usable, i used hotspot off my phone.

The hotel was fine but a bit dated. The breakfast was pretty good - a standard hotel breakfast. The lady at the front desk was rude and unfriendly. I arrived and no one was sitting at the front desk so I rang the bell. Apparently this upset her as she gave me attitude when I was checking in. I spent a lot of money at this hotel and ringing the bell shouldn't set off this lady.

Check-in was seamless. It was so nice to get right into our room after a long day of travel. There is a run-down mobile home neighborhood directly behind the hotel that was our view. Convenient walk to a nearby restaurant.

Super convenient location right off the main hyway into town. Which was great after a 10 hr drive. Great location right next to a Boston Pizza. Check in efficient. Goodsize room (2 queens). Clean and well organized. Front Desk agent very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here as I needed a stopover on a drive from Edmonton to Whitehorse. The Lakeview is fine. It's clean, it's quiet. It's convenient and well priced. Nothing bad, no concerns, but also there is nothing to really make it standout or make you say Wow. Having said that, I will stay here again on my next drive to/from Whitehorse, as seeing the other options in Fort Nelson, this is probably as good as it gets. Don't go to Fort Nelson looking for something to do in the evenings though. The area around the hotel is bleak. Just other hotels and motels, gas stations. That's about it.
