O hotel é bom mas precisa de algumas reformas nos quartos. Café da manhã com boas opções e em frente a praia. Pontos negativos: falta academia e não tem espreguiçadeiras na frente da praia, só as mesas e cadeiras do restaurante. A piscina do hotel mesmo fica mais distante, então nesse ponto acho que falha como conceito “pé na areia”. A praia é muito cheia e boa parte do mar fica ocupada por barquinhos.

Oh. My. Gosh! What a beautiful resort! The staff was so incredibly accommodating and welcoming and friendly and helpful! I met staff at the little office they have before the Ao Nam Mao Pier and they literally walked us to the pier, took our luggage, got us on a long boat, then staff on the Railay Island side took our luggage again for the short walk to the resort! Impressive! The main pool is a dream!!!!! The breakfast was plentiful. The bed was comfortable. The area had all you could need. I did NOT want to leave! And the monkeys in the trees at breakfast were the icing on the cake! Would go back in a heartbeat!

What a lovely resort, right on the beach and next door to "walking street" which has many options for bars, restaurants and shops (and ATM's). Although it is next door no issue with noise. Staff very helpful, a very relaxed stay. This resort is rather unique as the only way to it is by boat which made it very special for us. You can see monkeys, lizards and small toucans. Hired a canoe from the resort and visited adjoining beaches - very recommended. Resort arranged trips for us at very reasonable rates.

The area of rooms by the pool were awesome. Very quiet. The only issue not enough lounge chairs. There could be more for people to lay out by the pool. The walk back to the room was beautiful. The people are very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was average. Not a lot of selection. There should have been more fresh fruit. Rooms were very clean. The grounds were also very clean. If staying here, it’s worth paying for the pool rooms.

This is such a great place to stay. The rooms are gorgeous. The restaurant, where breakfast and other meals are served, is right on the beach. Perfect place for watching the sunset. The pool is nice when you need a break from the sun. Oddly, there are no lounge chairs for guests on the beach. Definitely walk to Phra Nang beach. Go early before the tours show up. It’s beautiful and quiet. No boats allowed. You need some patience when ordering food and drinks at the restaurant. The lunch crew was disorganized, and long waits was the norm. Just remember you’re on vacation!

Outstanding in every area. Right on beach, great breakfast. Before tourists arrive and its quiet, cant imagine a more perfect beach. Pool area lovely, recommend rooms overlooking it, although the chalets looked gorgeous too.

The hotel is located right on Railay Beach so can't fault the location at all as it's within walking distance of Walking Street where all the restaurants and bars are. Some other resorts are more secluded and further to walk to, so glad we got this resort. The check-in, check-out and other services like booking a two person kayak were great and the staff were friendly, attentive and kept the hotel clean and pristine, especially the garden and pool. However, the rooms and breakfast/restaurant area is a bit outdated. Probably great a decade or two ago, but the place could do with a touch up to make it relive its glory days. The breakfast was okay, nothing to shout about and we had dinner on the first night which was also so-so, but we were given a 10% food discount. Finally, I would recommend getting the airport transfer back. Worry-free of getting there on time. 1,600 Baht for the concierge to take your bags to the boat whilst you walk behind, private boat service, golf cart from pier to air-con van that takes you to the airport. Three modes of transport all within the hour! We would stay here again if we come back to Krabi/Railay Beach and hope to see it with a new lease of life.

Beautiful location and the hotel is very nice. Two complaints - they have very few lounge chairs for relaxing by the pool or beachfront and they have only one coffee machine, causing long waits for coffee during the breakfast buffet. With some small improvements, this hotel could be wonderful!!

Excelente localização à beira-mar, com algumas limitações de serviço O Railay Village Resort tem uma localização excelente, literalmente pé na areia, em uma das áreas mais bonitas de Railay, o que é um grande diferencial da propriedade. O quarto é amplo e confortável, porém a limpeza poderia ser um pouco mais cuidadosa, especialmente considerando o padrão esperado para o hotel. A área externa é muito agradável, com duas piscinas excelentes, bem integradas ao ambiente natural. O café da manhã é limitado, por seguir exclusivamente o padrão Halal, o que restringe a variedade de opções — informação que poderia ser melhor comunicada no momento da reserva. O hotel não vende bebidas alcoólicas, sendo necessário adquiri-las no bar ao lado. Além disso, não há serviço de bar ou restaurante na área da piscina. I will say the pools are amazing and it’s worth a stay to see the beach empty in the morning. However the rooms look like they were awesome when they open but haven’t been up kept. Room smelled so musty and moldy we checked out after our first night and went to another hotel for our next. Room took hours to cool off. Shower didn’t drain. Tub smelled like sewege. So if you wanna see the beach stay a night but good luck.

Very disappointed with the property. The lounger cushions by the pool were mouldy. The cleaning staff did not clean the rooms well. The shower door, mirror and bathroom glass all had shampoo or soap markings on them and were never cleaned. We made coffee in the room and the coffee cup rings from use were never wiped. The room was in disrepair with faded paint, chipped tiles, stained sofa bed and towels edges were frayed as well as bedding pilled. We had maintenance in 3 times in 5 day stay. Really distracted from our vacation.

Dated resort in a great location on Railay beach. We were offered an early checkin (about 2 hours) which was greatly appreciated. We stayed in the jacuzzi villa type room which was nice and spacious. Despite this, the rooms and very clearly dated and had wear and tear throughout. The AC worked well and the day bed was a nice place to relax while in the room. The resort grounds were lush and there are two pools available to swim. Railay beach is separated in two parts: west side which has the beach and east side which is mangrove. This hotel is located on the west side which was perfect for beach access. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant staff who are very unenthusiastic about their roles and don’t care to provide good customer service. The restaurant is empty while others along the beach were full - it was obvious why this is the case. The resort arranged airport transfers for us, though it was expensive, it was a very seamless experience.

Obviously, the facility is beautiful and in an amazing setting. I just think there's a better way to get guests there than having to bribe the local boatmen and then have a helpful porter at the pier dash off with your luggage. The lady in our group finally had to sit down and let him go because she couldn't keep up with him or walk anymore in that heat. What is with the beds there? It appeared that I was sleeping on just a box spring and it was super hard. Overall, a beautiful place, just some really odd things that made it hard to give a high rating to.

Absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous grounds and fantastic pool. Friendly staff. The room is a little outdated, but you’re in a beach town and with views like these who wants to spend all the time in the room? Highly recommend, will be back.

The bungalows are very dreamy. We got the jacuzzi villa. But I will say it’s pointless to get the jacuzzi villa if you’re excited about the jacuzzi because there’s not enough hot water to fill it up. So while it’s beautiful it’s useless unless you like a cold tub. Also breakfast was pretty disappointing. But everything else was amazing! Staff was great the room was clean as was the entire property! We really enjoyed our stay.

I will say the pools are amazing and it’s worth a stay to see the beach empty in the morning. However the rooms look like they were awesome when they open but haven’t been up kept. Room smelled so musty and moldy we checked out after our first night and went to another hotel for our next. Room took hours to cool off. Shower didn’t drain. Tub smelled like sewege. So if you wanna see the beach stay a night but good luck.

Everything about this place is great. The property, the staff, the rooms and especially the location are 1st rate. The only complaints are that the jacuzzi did not work and the shower head is our room #1033 was old & broken; it had very little pressure and just dripped like a leaky garden hose

Staff was very nice, but the jacuzzi tub did not work (1012), bed was too hard, electricity was spotty (cutoff during afternoon hours a few times, despite us not running anything except the A/C), and it smelled terribly the final night. It had that stagnant/sewage water smell coming from outside the room.

Ett fint hotell med stora och fräscha rum. Vi hade anslutning direkt till pool från rummet vilket var väldigt trevligt. På det stora hela var servicen jättebra om man bortser från frukost och restaurang som lämnade mycket att önska. Extremt lång väntetid i restaurangen där personalen kändes lite turisttrötta. Vid frukosten var det mest tomma fat som inte fylldes på i den takt så att gästerna kunde välja. Man fick ta av det som fanns helt enkelt. Sammanfattningsvis ett mycket bra hotell men restaurangen skulle behöva bli bättre.

I stayed here with my 2 children aged 13yrs & 10yrs. It was lovely, the pool is very pretty and clean and I felt safe for the entire stay. It is peaceful and tucked away but yet you are right on the beach in the prime location of Railay. There are lots of options for food places and drinks along the beach and down the connecting strip only 5 minutes walk away. The room was a little bit tired which is why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 but everything was clean and the staff were so helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend Railay Village and would happily stay here again. We all loved it.

Oh. My. Gosh! What a beautiful resort! The staff was so incredibly accommodating and welcoming and friendly and helpful! I met staff at the little office they have before the Ao Nam Mao Pier and they literally walked us to the pier, took our luggage, got us on a long boat, then staff on the Railay Island side took our luggage again for the short walk to the resort! Impressive! The main pool is a dream!!!!! The breakfast was plentiful. The bed was comfortable. The area had all you could need. I did NOT want to leave! And the monkeys in the trees at breakfast were the icing on the cake! Would go back in a heartbeat!

The hotel was very nice, but my first impression was negative. Check-in was a bit turbulent, and the accommodation was very far from the reception. Additionally, for a honeymoon suite, I think the hotel should offer a more modern room. That said, after three days we checked out happy with the overall experience.

The hotel is located right on Railay Beach so can't fault the location at all as it's within walking distance of Walking Street where all the restaurants and bars are. Some other resorts are more secluded and further to walk to, so glad we got this resort. The check-in, check-out and other services like booking a two person kayak were great and the staff were friendly, attentive and kept the hotel clean and pristine, especially the garden and pool. However, the rooms and breakfast/restaurant area is a bit outdated. Probably great a decade or two ago, but the place could do with a touch up to make it relive its glory days. The breakfast was okay, nothing to shout about and we had dinner on the first night which was also so-so, but we were given a 10% food discount. Finally, I would recommend getting the airport transfer back. Worry-free of getting there on time. 1,600 Baht for the concierge to take your bags to the boat whilst you walk behind, private boat service, golf cart from pier to air-con van that takes you to the airport. Three modes of transport all within the hour! We would stay here again if we come back to Krabi/Railay Beach and hope to see it with a new lease of life.

Good location and good food. Staff need to be more attentive as we were in the pool all day and not once did someone come past and clean all the leaves and flowers out the pool. We made a big pile by the end of the day. Also we had a massive dirt patch right out the front out our room which we couldn’t avoid and always brought dirty in the room which could have been cleaned up and we asked several times and we always got it will get done and never did. Room was good but the staff let it down.

Unfortunately not so great… when we got in there were no towels in our room. Every time we called the front desk no one picked up so we had to go find them. First night we got room service and my husband definitely got food poisoning from the chicken wings. We also had to find people to clean our room. However the pool and location was amazing, and really made the transfer from krabi to the hotel seamless.

O hotel é bom mas precisa de algumas reformas nos quartos. Café da manhã com boas opções e em frente a praia. Pontos negativos: falta academia e não tem espreguiçadeiras na frente da praia, só as mesas e cadeiras do restaurante. A piscina do hotel mesmo fica mais distante, então nesse ponto acho que falha como conceito “pé na areia”. A praia é muito cheia e boa parte do mar fica ocupada por barquinhos.

Outstanding in every area. Right on beach, great breakfast. Before tourists arrive and its quiet, cant imagine a more perfect beach. Pool area lovely, recommend rooms overlooking it, although the chalets looked gorgeous too.

This property is a great value for the money and has an amazing location. It's right next to the longtail boat/water taxi area for Railay beach and a 10 minute walk or less to everywhere else in the area. The rooms could use updating/upgrades, but they are in a gorgeous botanical garden-like setting with multiple pools. Amazing wildlife and ponds can be found around every corner. The grounds stretch almost to the east side of the peninsula and are accessible only to guests. There are many spacious villas with beautiful whirlpool tubs in separate bathing rooms. The air conditioning works well, and there are free beach towels and beach bags for use. The breakfast buffet is about at the standard for Thailand with several decent options. You can sit and eat right on the edge of the beach. Right around the corner is the main walking street with many other food options and shopping.

We stayed in a Jacuzzi Villa, excellent facilities, room cleaned and made daily. Restaurant is straight of the beach giving excellent views at breakfast. Staff are friendly and polite and quick to react to any requests. Right next to the walking street and a good base to explore nearby islands.

Room was good as were the pool facilities. We had a pool access room. Service and quality of food in the ‘restaurant’ wasn’t good at all and needs serious improvement. There was an offer of a NYE buffet dinner with ‘free’ soft drinks which we thought was Daylight robbery and skipped for the very good free evening 5 metres away on the beach. Hotel does not try to serve alcohol and does not feature it on menu’s. It’s a kinda strange business model in a party location like Railay. Consequently restaurant was generally deserted in the evening, that along with surly service Breakfast service was a little better but staff not responsive and counter kept running out of glasses, cups etc most days. Food wasn’t very good quality either.

This is such a great place to stay. The rooms are gorgeous. The restaurant, where breakfast and other meals are served, is right on the beach. Perfect place for watching the sunset. The pool is nice when you need a break from the sun. Oddly, there are no lounge chairs for guests on the beach. Definitely walk to Phra Nang beach. Go early before the tours show up. It’s beautiful and quiet. No boats allowed. You need some patience when ordering food and drinks at the restaurant. The lunch crew was disorganized, and long waits was the norm. Just remember you’re on vacation!

Beautiful location and the hotel is very nice. Two complaints - they have very few lounge chairs for relaxing by the pool or beachfront and they have only one coffee machine, causing long waits for coffee during the breakfast buffet. With some small improvements, this hotel could be wonderful!!
Beautiful location and the hotel is very nice. Two complaints - they have very few lounge chairs for relaxing by the pool or beachfront and they have only one coffee machine, causing long waits for coffee during the breakfast buffet. With some small improvements, this hotel could be wonderful!!

Ett fint hotell med stora och fräscha rum. Vi hade anslutning direkt till pool från rummet vilket var väldigt trevligt. På det stora hela var servicen jättebra om man bortser från frukost och restaurang som lämnade mycket att önska. Extremt lång väntetid i restaurangen där personalen kändes lite turisttrötta. Vid frukosten var det mest tomma fat som inte fylldes på i den takt så att gästerna kunde välja. Man fick ta av det som fanns helt enkelt. Sammanfattningsvis ett mycket bra hotell men restaurangen skulle behöva bli bättre.

We had a really lovely stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Railay was laid back and fun to explore. Right next to the walking street which was super convenient. Our suite had great air conditioning, and the pool was beautiful to swim in. There were lots of animals around, from monkeys to monitor lizards to friendly resort cats. Breakfast was delicious every day with many options to choose from, we especially liked the egg station! Would stay here again.
