Desk staff was nice, but the the hotel is very old and should be torn down. For example, black mold in bathroom, bath vent fan spins but doesn't move air, likely plugged up, bath sink very slow to drain, likely plugged up, bath vanity has 1 inch gaps at each end where my toothbrush rolled off and feel onto the dirty floor, the bath shower/tub has lost all its anti-slip nature and is like showering on a sheet of ice, toilet seat is so loose you need a seat belt to feel safe. Windows are paper thin allowing lots of street noise thru. Pool was dirty and not cleaned in days. Health dept should condemn the hotel and tear it down.

I've been coming to this place for years. Always a nice, clean, safe, quiet place with friendly staff and where parking is easy and convenient. The breakfast options are pretty nice too.

First room had peeling wallpaper and found mold, got new room quickly, amenities were fine, bedspreads were stained, bathroom was spacious and clean but shower handle was missing and had a rusty rod in its place, so happiness with bathroom was ruined, breakfast was ok, some things good some not, coffee was pretty decent, also pool was extremely small, pictures were misleading

Very clean and well maintained for an older hotel. Very nice outdoor area with pool. Key card didn’t work to get into door at pool area but worked well on room door. Bed way too soft for me but that’s just my personal preference

This hotel need to be upgraded. It is a little banged up. Very few towels provides, no bath mat.. Only one luggage cart. Faucet operated poorly and hot and cold swapped.

There was no bar- part of the reason I booked this hotel is because it advertised a bar. It had construction items scattered throughout one of the halls on my wing. There was no sign on my hotel door to indicate I did not want housekeeping, and preferred privacy. Someone came and knocked on my door for housekeeping at an early hour with a male voice and it was unsettling. I was a single female in a lobby full of men when I checked in the person on check-in was very kind, but announced my room number out loud in front of all the men in that lobby, which caused me to feel incredibly unsafe. Anytime a female checks in a hotel, it should be not to announce the hotel room out loud unless it is asked by them. Lastly, the staff serving at the check in desk and in the breakfast area were very kind and excellent overall. Unfortunately one of the managers or the hotel owner was walking around the hotel lobby at night, and in the breakfast area the next morning in bare feet. It felt unsanitary and strange. I was left with the confidence that I had picked the wrong hotel as a single female to stay in, despite liking the hotel chain and the staff personalities.

Stay away from this horrible place frozen freaking eggs in the morning. Disgusting pool look like somebody peed in. It was absolutely oblivious and lazy never again.

The staff were all very nice, breakfast was good and they had nice shower products. The bed was comfortable and appliances were nice. Every single piece of laundry, towels, bedding etc were all stained and dirty. I asked for replacements and they gave me them, clearly right from the laundry service, but they were still dirty. My tub didnt drain either even after they sent maintenance to fix it. I am disappointed with what i paid to stay here, i love IHG properties in general

Arrived at hotel around 9:00 pm and waited :15-:20 for someone to arrive at counter to check us in. Hallways and elevator were filthy. Room was fairly clean and comfortable

First room they assigned us had a construction ladder, buckets and a trail of dirt on the floor. Second room, keys would not work. Razor cap from previous guest still on vanity. Sink basin not properly cleaned. Hotel sent a text message at 11:54 p.m. Heat/AC unit was so loud it prevented sleep.

We thought it was closed because all the lights were off at the entrance. The hotel smelled and the halls are very poorly lit. The wall in the room all have damage and dust and there was mold or something in the shower. The bed nearest to the window had a brown stain on the sheets.

This is a pretty tired and run down Holiday Inn Express. Definitely needs some TLC. Dirty carpets, musty rooms, etc. But the front desk staff was friendly and accommodating when I asked for a different room since the one assigned had a previous smoking guest.

I was really there for a good night's sleep before hitting the road in the morning for another long day of driving. My room was close to the lobby, which I thought might be convenient. But there was rock music playing all night long. I thought it was coming from the next room, but when I got up in the morning and stuck my head out the door of my room, I was stunned to learn the music was from the lobby. You're never going to alienate someone with peace and quiet. I would think this is something basic, as in Hospitality 101. I didn't get any sleep. I won't stay there ever again. There are plenty of other choices.

I would look for a better place to stay the next time I am in that area. Our room smelled musty, bath drain was slow and no desk chair in our room. The carpet in our room exceeded it's life expectancy. This hotel needs to be renovated.

Overall the room and facilities were average. Housekeeping changed sheets and bathroom supplies one day and only changed bathroom supplies on second day. Had to take three cold showers. They said they would take care of problem but didn’t get fixed till 10 pm on my final night, after I had already taken a cold shower. Was told I would get a receipt in three days for some unknown reason. Eight days later and I still haven’t received a receipt. Will never stay there again.

The hotel was food the service was food but pur room keys kept getting deactivated and i had to keep foing to the service desk. also they didn't explain the wifi to us i had to ask. the ladybat the front desk seemed like she was new or didnt work the deskbthat often

Overall it was a great stay. The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. There are subtle signs that it's an older hotel but the updates they've made are very good. Hallway carpets aren't worn & there weren't any strange smells. They had a nice variety of breakfast offerings & the coffee was fresh ! Great location on route 11. We were here for Fall Carlisle-about 20 mins from the fairgrounds & close to restaurants/shopping. Will stay here again !
