Close to downtown San Antonio but not walkable.....at least not alone. The rooms with windows on Commerce could use a blackout curtain in addition to the decorative one; the room was filled with street and other business lights all night. A blackout curtain would fix that. Very comfortable bed and pillows. No hair dryer in the room; maybe available upon request. $50 deposit due on check-in, even if you already paid for your room online. $5 parking lot fee. If you do not have a US-based streaming service for watching television, don't bother turning on the tv. It is only for apps. And even if you have an app service, be sure to delete your email/password from the log on, so the next person does not see them. For your security, don't turn on the tv. I hate this hotel trend.

The manager and cleaning lady on duty were very friendly and helpful. However, being so close to down town there was a lot of foot traffic (by questionable folks) around the property and through its parking lot. The location seemed a bit sketchy. We were a bit nervous about our vehicle. Nothing happened though. The shower was dirty and the shower curtain was scummy. The pillows were very flat. They don’t have cable tv so you’d have to log in to your personal streaming apps. Which we chose not to. It wasn’t horrible but we probably wouldn’t stay again.

They have 2 different buildings I stayed on the newest building but they always have the A/C units off the rooms are extremely hot when you first get there , and the hallway is always hot they never have the A/C on. Also they need to clean a bit better the tub are really dirty .

The property was average for the price, but based on photos it makes you think the rooms are single rooms that you can drive up, but they are not. There is also a building with rooms. Property is under construction and in a not so nice area, but I’m sure when the property is finished it will be nice within the inside area of the hotel.

The location is convenient, 1.5 miles from the river walk I literally walked there, it’s about 15-20 minutes from Lackland Air base , not far from the highway however the surrounding area isn’t much to talk about , there are a few restaurants but there’s a huge cemetery directly across from the hotel The staff was great , front desk and cleaning crew very polite and welcoming The room itself was very spacious and clean , fresh wash rags , towels and linen, there wasn’t cable but there was a smart TV in the room which had both airplay and casting so i was able to stream from my iPad to the TV All in all it was a decent stay, good value ( like the name) for the pricing The hotel has ample parking with 2 EV chargers

One of our rooms was seemingly nice but had a silverfish infestation, while the other one was COMPLETELY unacceptable. We were given a bed for my daughter with a blood stain in the middle of it, my parent's room was in a complete state of disrepair with poorly patched holes all over the walls, the walls were DIRTY, the fridge was filled with black mold, and there were random pipes jutting loosely out of the walls that were haphazardly duct taped. The front desk man (older) was rude when I checked in, but it was late so maybe he was tired. Neither of our rooms were cleaned the entire duration of our stay, none of the trash was taken, none of the beds were fixed, towels were not replaced, and neither was the toilet paper. Additionally, one afternoon when we returned to our room it reeked of soiled bedding like that from a pet mouse or rabbit.

Room was Clean, the shower looked a little dirty when i first got there but its nothing a little water sprayed in the shower couldnt fix the one thing i would say about the shower is the water goes out onto the bathroom floor, besides that hotel was nice and clean, would stay again!

I booked for two nights, checked out a day early cause we had an emergency and had to leave town. The manager Rick was no help and rude, and still charged me for 2 nights. The pictures are deceiving online, this is a motel that tries to pass off as a hotel, was not a 3 min walk to Riverwalk, bad side of town, wasn’t even downtown. The bed linens and covers were dirty look like poop, had a bad smell on them, the tv and wifi didn’t even work properly. The shower was moldy and so was the shower curtains, no, blow dryer in room, no phone in room, had to text a phone number to get a hold of staff.

Our stay was Ok. The room needed more cleanliness including the building it self, floors were dirty and lights were off inside building durinf day time mind you it was cloudy and they turned on at night. I am guessing the reason lights were off was to save energy but towards our room it looked very suspicious especially if it was just one person I'd be skeptical to stay. Breakfast is very watered down as in the drink portion, it includes some cereal, orange juice and coffee and a waffle. Our room seemed like it was in construction prior to staying bathroom was a bit dusty, toilet paper from previous guess was still hanging and kleenex box it literally glued down with some regular bounty paper towels folded in the box. Soap in bathroom had residue around the bottle it self. Lamp in the bedroom was dusty. Our room had double TV's one behind the other and our mirror was had many smudges from the "cleaning". I mean other than that it served it's purpose stayed and slept and went home. Ty!

Mold in ceiling rm 102 and shower curtain was covered in mold. Walls had blood splatter. In some areas. Chocolates and chewed flower seeds on floor. Pics were taken but nowhere to submit. Manager allowed full reimbursement through Expedia for following day as we were suppose stay 2 days. Reviews had an 8.2 rating. Not the case in my opinion.

Very Big and spacious rooms, big comfortable king size beds wonderful to sleep on had a great rest woke up feeling refreshed. Huge ceiling fan and great air conditioning worked really well our room was very clean we were very impressed. Newly remodeled and renovated the hotel was so much nicer than I expected. you will enjoy your stay there very quiet and peaceful area. I felt very safe there. I would definitely stay there again. Close to the mall close to the airport easy access to highway. Great location. You should check it out.

My son and I traveled to San Antonio for a concert. The hotel was close to the venue in a quiet area of town. The manager was very welcoming, as well as the other gentleman that checked us in. The building we stayed in was new, clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of room, the AC worked great and even on the bottom floor, it was quiet. We will definitely be staying here again.

No towel racks in bathroom! It has paper-thin walls and floors. With la ow occupancy, they put everyone in adjoining rooms, kids screaming after midnight, elephants walking overhead. Should spread people out.

Stayed for 3 nights. Stayed in the “newer” part of the facility. Property is very well lit. We were given only 1 key, which did become an issue. The gentleman that helped with finally giving us a 2nd key was pretty cranky about it & felt a need to mansplain how his keys work or don’t work. First night was nice & quiet. But the 2nd night took a turn at about 1am by a loud checkin. They were obviously drinking and playing loud music. I could hear conversations (they weren’t trying to be quiet on any level) and this continued for about 1.5 hrs. We are not light sleepers but I was the only one disturbed. My husband slept right thru the commotion. I finally dozed off again shortly after 3am. I would stay here again but would bring ear plugs just in case. Also, supplies in the room were quite limited. We ran out of tissue & toilet paper on our last day (only 1 partially used roll was in the room on our first day- same with tissues). Only 2 very small towels, 2 hand towels and one wash cloth. Definitely not enough for a 3-day stay. We were moving our household so we had plenty of our own supplies. Could have easily gone & asked for more but after my encounter over the key situation did not want to have to endure another mansplaining moment. Our last night, there was some type of commotion in the older part of the hotel between a couple. I didn’t mind this hotel and would stay there again but it’s not for the fussy traveler, which I can’t say that I am.

Door man walked into the room using his key and proceeds to stair at me and my girlfriend for an extremely uncomfortable amount of time, while we were both undressed and very much in shock of this. We talked to the worker and got into contact with his manager who then blocked my number and my girlfriends when she called to complain as well. We were told we would receive a discount and received nothing besides blocked phone numbers. Very unprofessional and disgusting hotel

The best kept secret in San Antonio! After a long day of travel and hot weather, we arrived early to the hotel, simply to cool off. Knowing we were two hours early before check-in we were hoping just to chill out in the lobby/office. Enter Rick, manager to the rescue. He radioed his staff to see if there were any rooms that had been cleaned already. He was able to check us in two hours early and we were able to relax and cool off for our evening events. Great customer service and hospitality.

I am extremely disappointed with the bad service of the front desk guy on this location. He was really rude and unrespecful. I am not sure about what’s going on out there but doesn’t matter if you invest money on hotel repairs. Customer service should be the priority 1. You should hire competent people.

We had a good stay. The owner, Rick, was very accommodating and had excellent customer service. While the bed was somewhat uncomfortable to our liking and the room wasn’t exactly “clean”, we had no problems and will likely stay again. Worth the nightly rate!

Regret staying there. There was no phone in the room so if I needed something I had to walk to the office. Not enough towels in the room. Went to the office to request more clerk said he didn’t have any ran out of toilet paper clerk said he didn’t have any sink was clogged clerk said he couldn’t do anything about it. Clerk gave me the impression that I was really bothering him.

This property is not part of the Riverwalk. The area does not seem safe to walk around. The area was a bit trashy. You have to drive everywhere. I didn't feel safe. Walls are thin so you can hear street traffic and other rooms. The hotel charges a parking fee and their lot is the only place you can park. I thiught that deceptive. Rooms were clean.

This hotel was listed as "ON THE RIVERWALK!" in San Antonio,TX. Not only was it a 15 minute drive to the Riverwalk, but the hotel was in a very seedy part of town and looked NOTHING like the picture shown in Hotels.com.

The title of the property is highly misleading! It is advertised as America Best Value in Downtown Riverwalk! Far from the Riverwalk in San Antonio. This needs to be corrected, as to avoid other people to be mislead. FALSE ADVERTISING ! However, the room we got seems to be a very new room. It is very spacious, very clean, good towels, all around a wonderful room. For these reason and for one night only, we de idea to stay.

TV only operational with your own login, no use to overseas visitors, so couldn't use. Tepid water temp for shower, microwave broken, wires visible in ceiling, no soap, no tissues, no bedside lamp, bags of building waste outside of room. Breakfast was coffee, cereal, toast or waffles with melted butter & almost empty bottle of maple syrup only. We liked the very modern mirror in room & A/C. Motel was run on a very tight budget with no finish.

The place was good for last minute reservations that weren’t outrageously expensive. Two things that need improvement are the shower since the water pools in the bathroom everytime you take a shower no matter how you close the curtain, and the options for breakfast.

The sheets from the bed looked dirty & restrooms looked they were under construction. Plus we went to get breakfast early morning & the waffle mix was not good & the milk for the cereal was expired.
