The house was perfect. The bedrooms were immaculate and beds were excellent. The outdoor space was fantastic for all weather. You could sit in the shade, move to the sun, watch the sunset sitting beside the water, fish off the little jetty, sit by the firepit - the list goes on. The supplies in the kitchen were the best we have had with a full drawer of wraps etc, all utensils and crockery - everything you need. Stove, cooktop, everything worked perfectly. The owners communication was accurate and timely. The small town had everything you need within a short walk. Highly recommended.

Both kids and parents enjoyed the time away. We had great weather, jetty was great for the kids to fish off, we used the fire pit at night to cook marshmallows. House came with the small essential items and there was decent amount of utensil and crockery. House has been well maintained. Owner was easy to communicate with. Thank you

From start to finish, there were no issues. Our hosts communicated everything we needed to know. We enjoyed the kayaks and pool table as well as the fire pit. The ducks were a bit of a nuisance, leaving a mess to clean up on the concrete. We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion in such a comfortable house, the perfect place to relax.

This property is even more gorgeous than the photos and seemed closer to the lake than i thought it would be. Its is spotlessly clean and extremely well organized. The booking and check in process was easy with great communication with Lucio and Julie. We were were all happy with our bedrooms which were spacious and clean. The house delivered fully with entertainment, we enjoyed playing board games and playing pool, cooking marshmallows by the outside fire, paddling on the lake in kayaks and canoes and hours of fishing with late afternoon being the best time to catch fish. A Woolworths is only 5 minutes away and we enjoyed visiting Norah Head lighthouse which is about a 15-20 minute drive. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back soon.

This house is even better than it looks on the photos, it is an ideal place to go if you want to relax with a book or board game by the lake, go for walks around the suburb, fish, kayak or visit the beach. I went with a group of friends and all 8 of us absolutely loved it. It is the perfect place for anyone looking for a peaceful get-away.

We had a relaxing and amazing time with the family and grand kids on our wedding anniversary. The house is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, giving everyone the privacy they needed, as well as accommodating for family time and activities. The view of the lake is relaxing, quiet, beautiful and we enjoyed the BBQ, fire pit, kayaking and games room. Thank you, Lucio & Julie, for a wonderful stay.

Lovely quiet neighbourhood with beautiful lake views out the back door. There is plenty of included things for guests of all ages like canoes, bikes, games for the kids etc. The host has thought of everything you may need for your stay. I was thinking of a place where we adults can sit back and relax and the kids can play and enjoy themselves. As soon as I came across this beautiful property which comes with a view and all sorts of amenities for kids (and adults), I knew I needed to book it. I wasn't wrong! From the moment I booked, the host was very responsive. He accommodated all our requests. The house was presented as described in the ad. Everything was very clean and tidy. All the amenities were there as mentioned in the ad. Kids were busy with board games, scooters, and bicycles, while we had a relaxing time at the back patio overlooking the beautiful lake. We tried the canoe and it was fun. The pool table and the dirt board were good time pass at night as well. Overall it was a much-needed break we were looking and we enjoyed it thoroughly! Thank you again to the lovely hosts :)

I went there with my parents and three kids. Each room has its own air conditioning which is perfect for us. The kitchen has everything we need. We spend most of our time playing pool game dues to the wet weather, couldn’t enjoy the jetty and the backyard. Everything is perfect except the sound insulation isn’t very good, as upstairs bedroom can hear clearly the noice from downstair. (Except the lake view bedroom) the TV in the lake view bedroom isn’t working and the Wifi signal isn’t very stable. But I will still give it a 5 stars rating as the location and every other things are very good!

Really enjoyed our stay.Our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers had plenty of room to be together or have our own space.We lost wifi due to a freak storm but the Lucio tried to have this issue resolved for us- even when he was overseas-which we really appreciated.Plenty of space and it had everything we needed.

The house was perfect. The bedrooms were immaculate and beds were excellent. The outdoor space was fantastic for all weather. You could sit in the shade, move to the sun, watch the sunset sitting beside the water, fish off the little jetty, sit by the firepit - the list goes on. The supplies in the kitchen were the best we have had with a full drawer of wraps etc, all utensils and crockery - everything you need. Stove, cooktop, everything worked perfectly. The owners communication was accurate and timely. The small town had everything you need within a short walk. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay.Our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers had plenty of room to be together or have our own space.We lost wifi due to a freak storm but the Lucio tried to have this issue resolved for us- even when he was overseas-which we really appreciated.Plenty of space and it had everything we needed.

From start to finish, there were no issues. Our hosts communicated everything we needed to know. We enjoyed the kayaks and pool table as well as the fire pit. The ducks were a bit of a nuisance, leaving a mess to clean up on the concrete. We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion in such a comfortable house, the perfect place to relax.

This property is even more gorgeous than the photos and seemed closer to the lake than i thought it would be. Its is spotlessly clean and extremely well organized. The booking and check in process was easy with great communication with Lucio and Julie. We were were all happy with our bedrooms which were spacious and clean. The house delivered fully with entertainment, we enjoyed playing board games and playing pool, cooking marshmallows by the outside fire, paddling on the lake in kayaks and canoes and hours of fishing with late afternoon being the best time to catch fish. A Woolworths is only 5 minutes away and we enjoyed visiting Norah Head lighthouse which is about a 15-20 minute drive. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back soon.

Lovely quiet neighbourhood with beautiful lake views out the back door. There is plenty of included things for guests of all ages like canoes, bikes, games for the kids etc. The host has thought of everything you may need for your stay. Fabulous location and set up for both families and groups of friends gathering for a long time catchup. Inside the house was spotlessly clean. Front door and entrance way need some attention re built up dirt around door frame.EVERYTHING you could think of supplied for a relaxing fun time. Beautiful outlook across lake...so peaceful . Our stay as two families with teens at “Chilling Lakeside” was truly relaxing (mid Dec 2024). The booking process was easy, and communication with the gracious hosts was excellent. The house was well-equipped including entertainment for the adults / teens, good books and amazing views with stunning sunsets enjoyed by the jetty and around the firepit. Pelicans coasting along the water and friendly little ducklings were a joy. The nearby Coastal and Co takeaways had the best burgers and our trip to Caves beach (35min) was lovely. It was a memorable and relaxing stay.

I went there with my parents and three kids. Each room has its own air conditioning which is perfect for us. The kitchen has everything we need. We spend most of our time playing pool game dues to the wet weather, couldn’t enjoy the jetty and the backyard. Everything is perfect except the sound insulation isn’t very good, as upstairs bedroom can hear clearly the noice from downstair. (Except the lake view bedroom) the TV in the lake view bedroom isn’t working and the Wifi signal isn’t very stable. But I will still give it a 5 stars rating as the location and every other things are very good!

We had a wonderful stay at the house and area. Plenty of fishing at backyard and lovely fire place. Close to bottle shop and petrol station also so easy to buy the firewoods. Overall house was well maintained and good working order. We didn’t find any faults and no one whinged about anything.

Both kids and parents enjoyed the time away. We had great weather, jetty was great for the kids to fish off, we used the fire pit at night to cook marshmallows. We had a relaxing and amazing time with the family and grand kids on our wedding anniversary. The house is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, giving everyone the privacy they needed, as well as accommodating for family time and activities. The view of the lake is relaxing, quiet, beautiful and we enjoyed the BBQ, fire pit, kayaking and games room. Thank you, Lucio & Julie, for a wonderful stay.

Lovely home, beautiful surrounds, kids loved kayaking and playing in the lake. Hosts were very welcoming would highly recommend for families with older kids. Our youngest was 8, he loved it.
