Stayed 5 nights

Stayed recently and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. After one night, I developed multiple itchy bites on my arms, legs and face, which are consistent with bed bug bites. I have photos to support this. The room itself looked clean at first glance, but something clearly wasn’t right. This caused a lot of discomfort and concern, especially while traveling, and I had to take precautions with my belongings afterwards. Staff were polite, but this is a serious hygiene issue that needs to be addressed. I hope the hotel investigates this properly. I would be cautious about staying here until this is resolved.

The room was clean but typical for Tokyo was very small with little room at the foot of the bed and the side nearest to the window and the other side not a lot better, not a complaint but an observation. The bathroom was also small and the head of the shower was in line with my head and I'm not tall at all only 1.67m. But the bed, the main reason for the stay was comfortable and we had no issues with this. Breakfast was ok if a little light in choice and this is the second hotel on this trip that they serve very runny scrambled eggs. Why? No other egg choice available that I could see. Being in Shinjuku my wife found it on the noisy side. For myself, once I was asleep I slept well.
