Stayed 2 nights

I stayed in room 105 from 24 to 26 September 2026. The bathroom showed clear signs of a moisture problem: white deposits along the floor tile grout, damaged sealant with visible growth where the wall meets the floor, and dark stains and drip marks around the pipe openings in the ceiling. The room had a distinct sweet, musty smell of mould, and by the time I left, my clothes smelled of it too. During my stay I had headaches and burning, red eyes. When checking out, I told the reception about the problem and asked whether they had received much feedback about indoor air issues. The issue was played down, with the comment that some people are just more sensitive. I have also reported my observations to the municipal health inspectors so that the problem gets fixed. The location is good, but anyone sensitive to indoor air problems or with respiratory issues should think carefully, or at least check the room as soon as they arrive. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and fixes the problem. At peak-season prices, guests should be able to trust that the rooms are healthy to stay in.

A small hotel but everything is there for a comfortable stay. No lift to second floor. Nice comfy lounge, good but not exceptional breakfast. 6 mins walk to centre of town. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The room was clean, but during the winter conditions, you should have the options to at least have your room swept. Front desk staff was not very friendly. Furniture in the lobby was not anything we would sit on. The most disappointing part was the shower. The shower head did not stay up, so you had to use the hand held head, the water ran out of the bottom of the shower stall, so you had to squeegee the water back under the shower door after you had to get wet, lather and then rinse off in there different steps. The location was not bad it was less than a 10 minute walk to the city center.
