The hotel is perfect for easy access to all of the areas around Barcelona. We found it very comfortable in our room except for the smell.feom.the Aircon, it worked really well but the was a very sewage like smell when we had it turned on. It was fine we just used it to cook the room down then turned it off and opened the window. The hotel offers breakfast but we never had it. Also I think there was a bar but it didn't seem to be open at all..there's lots of lovely little bars and restaurants around so it doesn't matter too much. I would definitely stay again if we return to Barcelona

I was here for 4 nights for a work trip. It was a perfectly nice place to stay for a few days. Pleasant staff, clean & quiet room, good bed and bath, decent Wifi. The rooms are smaller than U.S. rooms as you'd expect but on par or above for Europe. The bed was good sized and there was just enough room for a desk and a small fridge and a decent sized closet. The bath was a good size with plenty of hot water and a nice shower. The hotel is also very close to a metro stop, so for those not opposed to public transport, it really is the fastest way to get around Barcelona, even traveling for work. There's a small Condis convenience store 1 block away a bar next door and several restaurants in the area. The only negative surprise was that the hotel listing says that the hotel has a gym. They do not actually have a gym at the hotel, but the provide you free guest passes to a gym that is ~1 block away and the times aren't terribly convenient. It's only available 9am-9pm M-F. So no early morning workout time or weekends. But other than the gym scenario, it's a nice place.

We had a really nice stay overall, the staff is nice and the room was clean. But it is not even remotely soundproofed as advertised, neither from outside noise nor from inside. We were repeatedly woken up by other rooms alarms or simply walking in. They also advertise laundry within certain times, but ours was delayed without notice, leaving us without clothes we were counting on and having to run to Uniqlo at 8pm to be able to be dressed the next day. I understand the delay but would have appreciated at least being given a heads up so we could choose whether to skip the laundry, or go buy clothes while out and about.

Was a great hotel for our group of 6 travellers, we enjoyed the large cozy lobby area to all sit together in the evenings. Rooms were stocked nicely with everything you needed. Friendly staff who let us check in early much appreciated.

Not really sure how this hotel was so highly rated. It was fine, but the number of stars do not match the quality of the building. Also, our stay was off to quite a rough start.. We arrived early for our stay after disembarking from a cruise. The hotel was able to accommodate us for an early check-in ..for a price of €20 per room. We opted for paying to check into one room early so we could drop our bags in the room and freshen up before exploring Barcelona. When I went to pay, the price after “taxes and fees” somehow became €38 and change. Wow. Almost 100% charge in taxes and fees? I was not a fan of that because at that point just tell me the cost of an early check-in is €38. Then we started to load up our things to them up to our room only to immediately become trapped in the elevator. (Two adults with a carry on and checked luggage each). Luckily, this pretty much concludes the bad experiences. As stated, the building was fine, but looked to be more in the 3-star category, not higher. Ie older a/c dials, deteriorating floors/baseboards, etc. The actual room and bathroom was clean. There was water and sweet treats near the entryway for guests to help themselves. The staff was nice. The hotel was within walking distance to multiple restaurants, bars, shops, and Sangrada Familia. We were about a half hour from the port, the airport and other touristy areas around Born. TLDR; it was fine, my expectations were probably just set a bit higher because of the star rating

The shower needs a good clean/refurbish . Black mould in the corner on the silicone . Door to the shower was never cleaned while we were there . Splashes and water marks all over it . Shower gel dispenser was not filled in three days .

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist für einen Stadtaufenthalt ideal. Die Lobby ist sauber und modern. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Leider fanden wir die Sauberkeit im Zimmer eher schlecht, Staub und Haare im Bad, Badezimmertüre verdreckt und allgemein sehr staubig. Schade, ein wenig mehr Sorgfalt und es wäre ein echt tolles Hotel

Very convenient location. Walking distance to supermarket, transit, restaurants, Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. The lobby was very nice, room was a good size, however, the were sewage backup smell in the hallway and room. We did not complain as it was not that strong. The room was semi clean, the night tables and floors were dusty. Overall, still a good price for the location and convenience.

Nous avons eu une chambre handicapée pour deux nuits. Le ménage n’est pas bien fait. Cheveux dans la douche, cacahouète laissée dans un coin sur le sol du bureau, plinthes qui se décollent, chambre humide, de l’air passe par la fenêtre, le rideau automatique de douche ne s’arrête pas, la télé collée dans le placard ne se voit que d’un côté, le sol de la chambre poussiéreux, avec des cheveux, le bureau collant, 1 seule prise USB fonctionne… bref propreté plus que moyenne et chambre pas fonctionnelle. Le lit est trop mou. Le personnel a l’accueil est par contre bien et sympathique.

At the price i paid i was happy. The room was clean enough, the staff was helpful, and it was a short walk to Sagrada Família. What killed me was my room was 10 feet away from a ghetto apartment building and some awful dog woke me up both days barking and howling. It was either from that building or because the hotel is dog friendly. But the sound echoed throughthe alley and woke me up at the crack of dawn. The breakfast was nice.

Overall had a great time at Bel Art. It is very well located in Barcelona and the staff were great. However, one thing to note is that the sound proofing is very very poor. Anytime someone entered or exited their room we could hear it, people’s morning alarms, staff etc. If you’re a light sleeper you’ll have trouble getting a good night sleep here .

Everything was fine, apart water pressure at shower. We contacted reception but the maintenance person said it's not their fault, it's council fault because they are doing repairs. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices, the room was clean when we arrived. So the water issues was the only point that we didn't appreciate.

The Room was extremely small, especially for three people!! I was expecting 3 Beds not 1 & a pullout. The bed & the pullout were touching each other. Felt like sardines. The price was outrageous for what I received.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. The beds, specifically the double beds are the worst beds I’ve ever slept on. We had to ask to change room thinking the mattress specific to that room was bad/worn out. But no it was the same case in the next room. The pillows were also very uncomfortable.

While the check in was smooth, the room was very hot. When we inquired at the desk we were told the AC was off for the winter. Even with opening the window the room did not cool off. And then there was road noise. No sleep.

Service horrible. A Cuban yelled to me. They did not call the cab for me and lost the connection. We needed assistance for my elderly father was totally ignored. Horrible attitude. Some employees told me that the Cuban, the blond girl between them they are not happy working there. The Cuban man at the desk kept calling me Colombian while I am Costa Rican. They blame it ion the disssable people but it is their fault . Again, someone who works there said they are not happy with their job, maybe poorly paid … who knows!!

We stayed for three nights. Although it seems like the hotel provides the very basic necessities, it lacks the importance of friendly service from the front desk. Housekeeping is terrible; it did not clean our room until 3 or 5 p.m. We constantly had to ask for soap and body wash refills as well as toilet rolls. Did not provide any towers one day, again had to ask for them. The room is DARK and lacks functional shelving. Will not come back again.

We spent six nights in Barcelona at Hotel Ilunion Bel art. We had a wonderful trip. Check in and out was so easy and so friendly! Service was excellent especially by Nuria. She was outstanding! So helpful!

I had a great stay at Hotel ILUNION. The staff were attentive and spoke multiple languages. The rooms were clean upon arrival and were cleaned daily. Beds were comfortable. A/C was very cold. Close to the Metro and easy to reach for taxis. 15 minute walk to Basilica Sagrada. I would definitely stay here again.

I cannot say enough about the service. From the efficient front desk staff, and their knowledge of the area and great suggestions as to what to do, to the cleaning staff who were friendly and willing to please. It was my first time in Europe and my first stop on a 7 week tour and what a welcome. Thank you Ilunion!❤️

Sarah (front desk) was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was clean and the hotel is located between the Alons X metro station and Sagrada Familia. You can take the metro directly from the airport and emerge within 2 blocks of the hotel after two transfers. I would stay there again.

Lollies and water in the reception were the only good things about this place. Tiny room, no wardrobe, no mirror, and it was a dark room. They provided no information about the hotel or the area. Breakfast OK but the waiters were rude and grumpy. Water, tea/coffee was never replenished, we had to ask each day for it. Paid on arrival for a 5 day stay and then we were charged a different amount again after we had left the hotel. When queried they did not even apologise, no communication just a partial credit. Took 3 emails to get an explanation. Very, very, poor customer service. Our recommendation is: Just go somewhere else. Booked thru Expedia - never doing that again either. ☹️

Arrived 1.30am and was told that the hotel was over booked and the room I had booked had maintenance issues! No room for me despite booking and paying for the room well in advance. I would like to make a formal complaint. 2 women, we were then sent by taxi to another hotel or an inferior quality to the hotel we had booked! We were in a location we had not researched. Totally unacceptable

Fantastic property. Really enjoyed our stay in Hotel ILUNION Bel Art. Great staff, great rooms, very clean and well kept. Only slight negative is that it’s far from the Gothic quarter however, you are a 5 minute walk from the subway which takes you down there in about 20 minutes so it’s not a significant issue at all. Bonus is that you are within a >10 minute walk of Sagrada Família which is incredible to walk past. Overall, great property and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Barcelona

Stayed over Easter, lovely and quiet all around lepant neighbourhood. Easy 10 minutes walk to Sagrada familia and guell park. Take the L4 metro line to Alfonso x station for links to passeig de Gracia in other lines spreading out over the city.

Incredible staff, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The meals were a self serve buffet which was fine with me. Good selection, flavor, and freshness. Loved the park across the street and the multiple restaurants just about 2 blocks away. Easy cab ride to the Port to catch my ship. Glad I listened to Santiago about getting a cab to the Port early because of traffic. He was absolutely correct. I’d definitely stay there again.

I slept very well all three nights I stayed, the room was fine, and the front desk helpful. Breakfast was okay, the coffee wasn’t great, and though there was fruit available there were no nuts etc to have with yoghurt. The hotel is near the Barcelona metro which is very useful.

Room was clean and the bed was comfy! The room came with a bunch of little free amenities. I just wish the double bed wasn't 2 singles pushed together. It would have been more comfortable had it had been a full double bed. The hotel was only a 10-15min walk from the Sagrada Familia and there are a bunch of cafes and restaurants along the walk. The breakfast buffet was decent. Not a lot of variety for vegans but overall a lovely spread of food options. I would definitely stay here again.
