The room was clean and the staff was fine but we were disappointed to find the in room coffee had been discontinued. The coffee was only available in the breakfast area and it always in pain to get dressed and take an elevator to get your morning wake-up coffee. Maybe it's just us, but we will probably find another place to stay with in room coffee next time.

The room had good space and was easy to walk around - and it smelled clean. The front-desk staff and cleaning crew were all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Safe environment, close to everything in Grand Blanc and 1 minute from I-75. Our stay was uneventful - which was perfect!

It was okay! The towels in the bathroom were not clean. The gym had no towels, water or anything to clean the equipment. The pool was closed for maintenance due to chlorine? In the morning a sign was posted that it was a cold breakfast only! Inquired about coffee and was told they had to brew some, when coming back down to inquire about it was giving attitude!

The pool set it was heated. And it actually was warm. Very nice. Stayed here for business. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was awesome. And very friendly

Well I don’t know where to start the pool smell like chlorine so bad it burned my eyes when I threw up the bathroom had hair all over the floor. It was really gross with feces everywhere.

The tv in the main room with the 2 beds did not work properly. When we asked about it, we were told it was a known issue, yet we were not informed upon check in. When we tried to call down to the front desk to inquire about the tv the phone did not work so we had to leave the room and physically go speak with someone. The pool was very cloudy and all though it appeared the filters were working it didnt look like it because the cloudyness of the water. The room also had mildew in the bath tub and under neith the sink in the bathroom.

Customer service was exceptional and staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean for the most part, just some small details, like the TV was full of dust and some corners in the room were not clean. Nothing that would prevent me from staying there again. The main areas, like the lobby and pool area were very clean and well maintained.

The hotel was 2.5 stars based on price and comparable stays at other similar hotels. They would not let us check in a half hour early but then had a 40 minutes wait in line when we returned later to check in. The pool is obviously used alot by local population who must stay nights at the hotel for fun(?) because the room carpets are saturated with chlorine from wet feet (or at least thats a theory of odd smell that just at fringe of the room). The elevators are always wet as well from pool traffic. Our friend who stayed in another room was charged three times for one night because of front desk inexperience with computer system(?). The breakfast was not prepped properly: cold sausage in sernoed pan and half frozen cinamon rolls. Overall, I have stayed at worse places, but for what is being charged these days, I expected more.

It's a nice place a little more help with cleaning of the pool would be great and the dryer didn't work lost money on that and the room toilet could have been tightened down more other than that great experience

Very nice property. Only downside was the bed in my suite was dirty and had not been changed. Unfortunately, we didn’t notice it until we were checking the bed for items and noticed the stains on the linen and pillow cases.

The rooms had a smell. My daughters room with her husband had there sheets dirty with crumbs and stains and they had to go downstairs to front desk and ask to have it clean but had to do it themselves cause the cleaning crew wasn’t available when the manager didn’t even give them an nothing for cleaning it themselves and shame on him for having us as customers clean the room. Also rooms that we had too many stink bugs. Will not go there again

I liked that the property was in a business district when traveling through an unknow area. The parking lot was dirty along with the front entrance. The check in employee was very nice even when juggling another guest issue on the phone. The elevator smelled like pot. The room was fine until I saw a dried contact lense on the bathroom floor so then you wonder "how clean is the room?". The bathroom floor looked dirty but it would not clean with basic soap and water. The sink and the tub would not drain so the end of the shower I was standing in a lot of water. Gross. The towels are thing and lack luster. Hardly any food out for breakfast at 7am.and not much in the fridge to grab and go. I thought a Holiday Inn Express had certain standards they need to maintain to keep that flag? This location is run down.

The room was good beds very comfortable. On the bottom of one of the the iron railings was out and I hit my ankle. The bathroom toilet was little and the rest of the bathroom was beat up. The door didn’t close good the tub looked like someone was really dirty. Look like someone punched some holes in the wall. The top of the bathroom ceiling had brown spots. The tv didn’t turn on but the clerk came and took care of it quickly. The clerk was very good the breakfast was delicious and the hotel was quiet.

While the property and room were clean and breakfast was good, we most likely won't return. The heater in the room was as loud as a jet engine which does not make for a good night's sleep. When I asked about switching rooms, I was advised that all of the rooms had a problem with it. Really? It's winter in Michigan! So we're not likely to return.

Our room was clean and convenient to get to. They have the refillable toiletries and I was disappointed to find the body wash and conditioner were completely empty. The satellite didn’t work on the tv. And the morning we were checking out we realized our door never latched unless we deadbolted the door, then it would engage the lock… something you can’t do from the outside. I didn’t mention it to the front desk because we were only there one night and they were pretty trivial stuff (except the door).

The room layouts were great. However, the air unit was not working in one room. My husband takes meds and becomes hot. It was uncomfortable without proper air. Also, bsthroom needs updating. Horrible cracks and need paint job. Rooms were great but not the bathroom or the air situation

The room was great , the only thing that pissed me off was I had 2 air conditioners in the room and neither of them worked so it was very hot and muggy my whole stay !

Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Cinnamon rolls were the best I've had for breakfast included. Hotel was mostly neat and clean. There was quite a line and wait to check in though. Check in was at 3:00. Rooms weren't ready or available at 3:00. Shuttle to wedding was at 3:15. I booked through a third party and specifically booked there so I could have two queen sized beds. We got a suite instead. So I slept on the pull out couch. When I opened the couch the mattress cover/comforter was dirty.

No key cards upon check in. Following day they were going to make me wait hours for a key card. I checked out because it was inconvenient and they would not refund my money because I booked through Expedia. Property was not well maintained.

Very noisy with team sports groups. Running the hallways. Had a lot of issues key cards and need to had reprogrammed 3 times. This issues was happening to all guests. Staff was very friendly and hotel was clean.

They overbooked the hotel by 5 rooms. Despite having record of the reservation made 3 weeks earlier when we went to check in the hotel concierge said they did not have a room for us. At the same time a mother and daughter were also being told they didn’t have a room for the night. This left us scrambling to find another place to stay for the night with all other local locations already booked. This is terrible business practices.

The property was a in a great area. Close to shopping but quiet. The hotel seemed very clean and updated. The breakfast buffet was my family’s favorite amenity. The cinnamon rolls were to die for! My favorite part was the care we received from the staff when we arrived. The gentleman was fairly new, but was professional and accommodating to our needs right away. I give this place a 10/10 and would stay here again!
