Great hotel, excellent location as just few minutes walk to Puerta del Sol and lots of bars/restaurants nearby. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our quadruple room a good size with comfortable beds and mini fridge. Breakfast was fine and rooftop terrace was nice with good views. Will definitely return.

Nous avons une chambre avec 2 petits lits (on le savait au départ), la 406. Elle est au fond du couloir et donne sur les toits de la calle Echegaray. Elle est calme. Nous avons une petite entrée, salle d’eau avec WC et un chambre avec au mur le magicien d’Oz. Pas de rideaux occultant (dommage). Le personnel est adorable, souriant et de bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner est très très bien, on y trouve de tout (sucré et salé). Oui, la tuyauterie fait du bruit quand quelqu’un prend une douche mais c’est largement supportable. Il est super bien placé - à 3 minutes à pied du métro Sol ou l’on trouve 3 lignes (1, 2 et 3) mais Madrid se fait très bien à pied au départ de cet hôtel. Le quartier est très agréable, on trouve de très bons restaurants. Le must, une terrasse sur le toit, ou l’on peut fumer, voir même venir avec son repas et y manger. Je reviendrais à Madrid, et c’est dans cet hôtel que je reviendrais, le rapport qualité/ prix y est excellent. Moins d'infos

Teatro is beautifully located (Las Letras!) & its crazy theatrical decor is pretty cool but 1. the elevator is slow & tiny & breaks down, 2. the rooms have NO coffee/tea service, 3. noise from partying guests can continue into the night, especially on the open staircase. otoh the view from the terrace is spectacular and front-desk person Isabel is wonderful.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Badezimmer Türen gingen nur mit Krach und viel Druck zu. Die schöne Dachterasse war leider etwas lieblos gestaltet und es standen Mülltonnen darauf.

Interesting place…. We were there during warm weather and they don’t allow the thermostat to be set below 24 Celsius which was very warm and stuffy. Opening windows brought in street noise that made sleeping impossible. The elevator and breakfast facilities are too small to accommodate the number of guests. Fun theme in a good location but uncomfortable stay and pricey.

Hotel discreto, non nuovo, camera spaziosa. Tutto bene fino a quando mi sono accorta che la cameriera ai piani invece di cambiare gli asciugamani lasciati a terra in bagno li ripiegava per farceli riusare. Ovviamente gli asciugamani erano umidi e visibilmente sporchi. Quando gliel'ho fatto notare, con una smorfia, mi ha dato solo alcuni asciugamani puliti dicendo che non ne aveva altri. La pulizia giornaliera della stanza consisteva solo nel rifacimento dei letti, a terra non veniva pulito e nemmeno la vasca.

For the expensive price the hotel was very poor. Not very clean, noisy, broken shower, smelly, insects in common areas and bathroom. Poor lighting in room. Noisy air conditioning unit. Room overlooked by offices, so no privacy - only blackout curtains. Pleased we were only there for one night!

The location of the hotel is excellent - it's close to a lot of places to shop, eat and entertainment. It's a bit out-dated and needs some updates. The breakfast is not good at all-I think this could be improved. All staff members were very friendly. The sheets were not the cleanest but bearable.

The front desk staff was great and so was the lady at the breakfast. The hotel rooms are outdated and uncomfortable, also the toilet was set so close to a wall that you have to sit sideways. The location was ok.

Hotel is in a great location and rooms are pretty big for Europe. Bathroom has nice closed shower. Front desk was so nice to us. Only issue was that the shower did not drain properly and toilet seat kept closing on my back. Also no safes in room. But enjoyed the stay and location was awesome. Great value for price!

This is a two-star hotel and this rating summarizes our experience pretty well. Pros are: friendly/helpful staff, super location, spacious room, clean, nice breakfast (included), good beds. Cons are: not convenient for mobility impaired people, smelly room, AC not working, no racks for suitcases, somewhat noisy because of late evening activities on the nearby street, no coffee or tea in the room.

It is superbly located and the staff is so sweet and helpful. The hotel has lots of character but the walls were thin and the noise will disturb most people's sleep. I could hear their loud conversation at night and in the morning.

Shower head leaking everywhere, needs to be replaced. Shower enclosure also leaked over the bathroom floor. Couldn't adjust the air con temperature. Staff collected all my details at check in telling me it was for the "police" only for them to then spam me with WhatsApp messages later trying to sell me tickets to shows.

Great location. Friendly staff. Room 204 to small for 3 persons, not able even to open our luggage in the floor. The 2 beds cover almost all room. Bathroom very small and a little bit uncomfortable. Price is not related to the room we received.

Despite excellent service from lobby staff specifically Veronica and Paloma. The overall experience was disappointing. Key reasons ie. Elevator not working ( it was not mentioned during bookie the hotel) air conditioning not working properly, bed sheets changed we're having stains and despite complaining was not addressed during 3 nights stay.

We arrived to the hotel on July 1st not knowing what was going on in Madrid. As we arrived, there were no Taxies traveling to downtown. We called the hotel and Amarr calmed us down and explained to us how to arrive via "city train". We faced some inconsiderate people pushing my 76 y/o parents and not carrying for anything but their "festival". As we arrived to the hotel HOT, EXHAUSTED, and hungry... Amarr and Irene were the ones to welcome us to the hotel. They immediately jumped into action giving us water and helping us with the luggage. From there on, they made our 3 nights in Madrid one to never forget. Amarr, Irene and the rest of the staff were PHENOMENAL! They were always ready to help with any questions we had about the area, mini markets, visiting places, etc. Didn't matter the time, they were always smiling and making sure everyone in the hotel was taken care off. The breakfast was great and so were the breakfast waitress. Wish i remember her name, but she was so sweet and helpful as well. The hotel is VERY unique and the rooms are decorated beautifully. The entrance sits in an alley, that makes it easy to access everything from mini markets, shops, restaurants, etc... The hotel is super clean and the beds were very comfortable. If we return to Madrid, we'll definitely be staying there once again.

This hotel provided us an excellent service. The customer service was great. Our rooms were cleaned. We have no complaints. The location of the hotel is perfect. We highly recommend this hotel. Isabel and Ahmed were great.

Breakfast was great because the staff was very attentive; brought out a slice of pie with a candle for my bday and special food for my kids. I think that was the best part. Front office staff was nice and took care of us even when leaving to make sure we were safe.

Great location. On our floor, hotel room doors were not soundproofed at all and there were loud noises from the hallways throughout the night. Also, another guest was given access to our room by accident and woke us up in the middle of the night, which was scary for my girlfriend. They apologized but took no other steps to make amends. Overall, I would probably not stay at the same place for the price although it was a decent hotel minus the bad experience and lack of soundproofing.

A great three nights in Madrid. Veronica at the front desk was amazing, helped us get around and with suggestions for a what to see. Great room that was theatre inspired and the family loved. A great place to stay and reasonable as well!

Hotel is in an excellent location in Sol and the city is extremely walkable from the hotel. We arrived at 2 am and were made to feel welcome straight away. The hotel is clean and friendly. There are some drinks available to buy, as well as a free bottle of water in the room if you need something when you arrive. There are stairs which are steep but there is a small lift that can fit luggage if needed. The hotel did also have an iron on request and I'm sure would be happy to help with most things.

Hotellets läge är utmärkt, nära/gångavstånd till de flesta sevärdheter. Rummet var stort, men enkelt möblerat. Sängarna var sköna. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal i receptionen. Frukosten var enkel och vi rekommenderar att också gå ut på något café för frukost.

Great location, walked everywhere we wanted to go in old city-snd we went everywhere! breakfast included hit the spot, staff very nice, Ammer front desk person very helpful. Room temperature being too hot or too cold was no big deal but thermostat didn’t quite seem to have an in between
