The water in bathroom sink was black. Only 1 elevator worked. No ice machines or vending machines. Breakfast was cold and no eggs every day.

The pool was closed which is why we picked the property

Elevator and ice machines did not work. Strong weed smell in the hallway. Rooms were cool. Clean bed and bathroom. Slept well. Good hot shower. A lot of movies channels on the tv

Breakfast was pretty weak, no eggs or bacon. Pool was closed and fitness facility was barely there.

Hotel was dirty and smelled bad. It is very dated. One of the elevators doesn’t work, the tv in my room didn’t work and the toilet seat was hanging on the toilet by one screw! The floor in the bathroom was sticky as well. I didn’t want to be there and I’ll never stay there again.

Upon arriving, we saw that the. Roof on the entrance is severly damaged. I really hate that it is only one ice machine and one elevator in that entire place that works. And it was hot in the hallways and lobby. I had a problem with the key card so we had to switch rooms then the key deactivated for the second room too. This hotel needs a severe update, everything in it is old a outdated.

The worst hotel I have EVER stayed at! We only stayed one night…& they still charged us for 3 nights! We had to change rooms the only night we stayed because of the smell!! The main elevator was out of service, not one item in the vending machines, the ice machines were all broken, the hot tub advertised was completely cemented in and the pool had a out of service sign on it, & the breakfast was so bad I actually took 2 bites and went back to the room and threw up!!!! I can not believe hotels.com didn’t even do us right! We booked and stayed at another hotel thru them the 2nd 2 nights paying full price, but we still were charged for the other 2 nights we did not stay at this worthless LaQuinta ! Will NEVER use hotels.com again EVER!!!!

My father is in the hospital across from the hotel and although the location is great the hotel s in desperate need of some TLC. The tv stopped working but that was not a big deal and they were able to swap rooms. The breakfast was adequate and warm. My stay was broken in to two stays. On the second stay one of the elevators were out and my elderly mother had to walk to the other end of the building to the elevator. When I asked the gentleman behind the counter he said no this is the room you have when clearly my mom needed a first floor room. That night our air kept going in and out in our room. On the last day both elevators went out and my elderly mother had to walk three flights of stairs. Just do better! Ps. There was one lady on the first stay that was kind and did all she could do.

Check in July 24th. arrival approx. 8 pm after driving all day. Walking in we looked up at the overhead entrance, wires and lights were hanging down, the clerk at the front desk was very nice, gave us our room, told us they only have 2 elevators, only 1 worked and if we drive to the back that would be closes to the working elevator. Our key would open the back door to the hotel. Our key did not, the door would not open, we walked around the building and found another side door, the key did not work, but someone had left the door propped open with a stick. We went to our room and our key opened the door, we dropped off ALL OUR BELONGINGS and quickly went to dinner. It was late, we had been traveling since 7 a.m. We ate, returned to our room, the key no longer worked, the door did not open. 4 times we went to the desk , the clerk came up on the 4th try and it did not open. He put us in room #2, the TV did not work, on to room #3 with NO BELONGINGS it is after 1000 p.m. At 630 a.m. maintenance opened the door, we got our things. Ants in our bathroom, refrigerator hinge, door knob missing, broken arm on chair in RM. #3, SMOKE ALARMS in each room were missing. The filter in the pool did not work, the outside grounds were littered with cigarette butts everywhere. The manager said they are renovating, talk to Hotels.com for any compensation. We feel we should be compensated! Why wasn't UNDER RENOVATION posted on Hotels.com? Photos posted on Hotels.com are not accurate.

This stay started off rough and did not really improve. At the original time of check in, no one was at the front counter. After waiting 10 minutes, we left, got dinner, then returned to check in. The elevator closest to our room was broken, so we had to go down the long hallway, up, then back through the long hallway to get to our room, only to find the one given to us had not been cleaned. After repeating the trek back to the counter, the response we got was "housekeeping has left for the day". We we eventually assigned a new room (repeating the trek again due to the broken elevator), we got a clean room. There were only two towels for the three of us. When asked for a third, we were told there were no more. The front door to the hotel was broken, an elevator was broken, we were given a dirty room, and they would not provide us with enough clean towels.

This was the worst, most disgusting, nasty, dirty, foul hotel I’ve ever been to in my entire life. I travel for work and stay at hotels weekly across the country. If I could give this a negative score I would. I walked in and it smelled so bad. The curtains were stained from top to bottom. The table was broken. The outlets were broken. The floor was stained from front to back. The door to get in the room literally wouldnt open I had to pry myself in. I couldn’t tell my worst enemy to stay here for a minute.

Every wall was dirty. The carpets were dirty. The linen had stains. The only working elevator was disgusting. Broken light fixtures that were just hanging from posts. Only half of them worked. The key cards didnt work most times. Squealing noise from some fixture or smoke detector inside the room. Empty tissue box. Ants and roaches in the room. The premises were nasty, tires, thrash all around. The price was too high for the nastiness that i endured. Please clean! Just all out nasty. Unsatisfied!!!

This property was terrible. There are no lights outside of the hotel. Once inside, you could smell the mold mildew. When I made it to my room, you could see the mold on the wall as well as in the air vent of the air unit. We asked for another room only to find a roach waiting for us on the table, torn comforter, and dirty walls. We asked them to cancel our stay in which they informed us that they could not and we had to contact travelocity to cancel before 11p.m. We contacted travelocity and they told us they couldn't cancel it either. We still haven't received answers from both the property and travelocity. Do not waste your time.

In desperate need of cleaning and repairs! The entire place

The staff were friendly and kind, but the rooms and hotel were disgusting. Our room was ‘non-smoking’ but smelled of a strong cigarette stench. We were out first thing in the morning. Bugs, greasy carpets, stench, and rooms in disrepair. Not worth the money or the loss of sleep.

I knew going in the hotel was a bit older but the pictures online seemed to indicate it was well cared for and clean. This was not the case. The hotel was very dirty, not just lived in dirty but food ground into carpet dirty, dust/dirt in all the corners, doors that did not close, dents/scrapes and holes in doors and walls. There were 2 smoke detectors in the rooms around us that were beeping. Our room (216) had a dirty tub, the AC unit was in parts and did not work, there was left over stuff form the previous tenants in our room (bed was made), floor was not vacuumed, bathroom not swept or mopped. The only thing we were missing was a chalk outline on the floor from where they moved the body. The elevator did not work, the stairwell had food laying on the ground, there were several lights that were out in the lobby, stairwell and our floor. it smelled like weed and cigarettes. We ended up booking the hotel right next store for 2x the cost and it was worth it. When we went to discuss the issues with the staff, there was a language issue and the manager was "unavailable" to speak with us.

The issues with mold and mildew were impossible to ignore. The pervasive musty odor in the halls, stair wells and room made it clear that these problems had gone unaddressed for far too long. The walls were not spared either, with noticeable signs of neglect and filth. The main elevator being out of commission during my stay was a major inconvenience for our group of 11 senior citizens. This left the group with no choice but to navigate multiple flights of stairs, which was both tiring and frustrating. The carpet in the main areas was another source of concern. It was evident that it had been saturated at one time, and the lingering evidence of mold in the corners was alarming. This not only affected the aesthetics but also raised serious health concerns about the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The condition of the pool was nothing short of appalling. It appeared neglected and filthy, which made any thought of taking a swim out of the question. In my room, I encountered ants. Need I say more about that. Furthermore, the wash machines and dryers on the premises were barely usable, making it impossible to do laundry. The credit card readers were not in working order and the main desk had no quarters available. The male clerk could care less. Thanks to the local Target for coming through with the quarters.

I got ate up by bugs while I was sleeping. The room was dirty. There was crackheads screaming. And it sounded like someone was trying to kick my door in. All of the doors at the hotel had looked like they had been kicked in. The room reeked of pee.

There were ants in the bathroom, paint peeling in the hallways that was held on by clear tape, and OBVIOUS bodily fluid stains ALL over the couch. I was in the room long enough to change clothes and then booked a stay at a completely different hotel chain.

Stains on furniture as soon as you walk in the hotel.. Hotel looks old and dirty.. Elevator broke... hallway smelled like Marijuana 😡 Room bed and wash cloth has hair all over the place.. Bench at the end of bed has 1000 stains on it.. Door broken.. Cable is not HD. This place is disgusting.. I will NEVER stay here again.

First room would not unlock. Second room had a mildew smell and the TV would not work. No other rooms were available that were not pet friendly, wife has bad pet allergies. Only one elevator was working, all the way opposite of front desk. Entry door near elevator from parking lot would not unlock with room keycard. The hallways had an odor that although not over powering was not pleasant. When no other room was available that would accommodate us, we chose to go somewhere else. Front desk clerk gave us a phone number to call for manager in the morning. They refused to give a refund for the room.

My stay there was absolutely HORRIBLE!! It was people in the hotel playing loud music. One of the elevators didn’t work and it was people just hanging out sitting down there by the 2nd one that did work. I had to move rooms 3 times!!! I suppose to had a none smoking room! And it smelled so bad just like cigarettes, and the the toilet did not flush at all. So they moved me to another one and that room didn’t have a doorknob and the door would not close At all! So they moved me to another room and that was ok for the most part the walls was just a little dirty. The employee was very friendly and super helpful. She tried her best to make my stay comfortable and get me a nice room. But i was over It.

Mattress had a dent in it so big I had to put a pillow in it to be flat! Carpet in the hallway was rippled/loose—trip hazard! Elevator inoperable. No housekeeping for 4 days, but would exchange towels. Rust in the bathtub. No eggs 2 of the 4 days. Front door to lobby was not secure. Homeless people in lobby.

The only positive things I can say….The shower worked, the sink worked and the toilet flushed. As far as clean, safe, tidy, comfortable, updated, those are not applicable. Only 1 elevator, no lock on our door, no chair, lamps broken and 1 held up with scotch tape, A/C had something in the vents, hair all over the bathroom, burn hole in the sheets, no functional ice machines, I could keep going….

The front desk staff was very nice. There are only 2 elevators in the building and one was broken for our entire stay. The TV picture would not come on(sound did), the room telephone did not work, the coffee maker did not work, the ice maker on the second floor was broken(as was the one on the ground floor) and on the third floor it was very slow. We won't go back there again.

La Quinta sets their employees up to fail and i feel sorry for them. Every where we went in the hotel, something was broke or just looked filthy. The whole building needs a remodel. Will not be going back unless there are no other options.

The room was supposed to be pet friendly, but out cat found 3 places to hide. One of those places was in the wall and around the tub. The bedside table was broken as was the wall sconce above it. The refrigerator did not work and we had to crawl under the desk to adjust the temperature because the thermostat didn’t work.

The room was in disrepair, period.

The front door would not close and a smoke alarm beeped constantly because the 9 volt battery needed to be replaced. I told the front desk and nothing happened. Our door on 116 was difficult to open because the door lock was loose. The left side bed light shade was missing causing a bright glare if used. The desk light power outlet wouldn't work. The radio power outlets would not work.

I was recently billed with some things that were already out of order when I arrived to the property. Management has no unity amongst the housekeepers and maintenance. They book rooms with broken rails, broken knobs and broken toilets.The breakfast’s sausages are not always done. The boiled eggs are old. The coffee isn’t always fresh or hot. Two foreign brothers works the front desk and they are very rude. They get mad when you can’t comprehend their accent. The system will bill your card twice, it’s very slow. They have laundry listed as an Amenity but it does not work and they don’t know when it will be fixed. The only one elevator works. The hotel reeks of smoke and it’s suppose to be a no smoking facility. The maids and maintenance have both expressed how the toilet and rails in my room were broken and had been broken for a while. The foreign clerk had to reset my remote and the manager still charged me for the tv not coming on which seemed to work just fine until my last day being in the hotel my kid 12 year old minor used a restroom across the hall because my 14 year old was taking a shower. The head manager stood in our face and told my son he broke into a room that was clearly left open as they admittedly do all the time. No damage to the door, we had no key. She never apologized and put us out of even after I offered to pay for the extra room as well.

Super caring staff and overall good amenities. They had renovations going on and it was a little inconvenient. Only one elevator working and half the parking lot blocked off. Keys were messed up too.I’d stay there again AFTER renovating is complete.

Staff was very rude. Loud people next to us all nite blaring music left a day early because I was not happy with our stay at all. Doors didn’t lock and key card never worked had to get a new one each time to get into my room. It smelled funny also. Bathtub was dirty. Overall not happy

The receptionist is rude and angry

If you are thinking about staying at this hotel, im letting u know, i wouldnt staythere or let my dog stay therr. Its the worst hotel i ever stay at!!!!. My car window got broke out, an 7 other car windows got brokr out. It dirty nasty. Beds are a box spring carpet is like mud no ice box or microwave etc. Just dont stay if you are traveling.

For the price you got qhat you got the rooms were not too bad as far as cleanliness but the area that hotel was in needed to be cleaned up a little there were too many homeless peope in the area even though it was across the street from the hospital is what probably made it safer. The pool was closed at the time even though the temps were in the 90s so that was unfortunate 😕 The staff were super friendly and very accommodating

The first nightThe room was not good, due to the refrigerator, air condition not working, no remote to the TV and the light was out. I was moved to another room and the bed had a whole in it. Early Saturday morning when i went to leave going to breakfast my car had been broke into and 7 total cars had been vandalized. So I'm giving you the WHOLE TRUTH

My vehicle was broken into my first night stay ( out of 3 nights ) I ended up heading back home to get my window replaced the night clerk said she would talk to the manager about refunding the other nights. That hasn’t happened yet

The staff was great! The breakfast was decent. The condition of the building was extremely deteriorated. My door was broken. The keys only worked on doors sometimes. The location is in dire need of an upgrade and I understand a remodel is planned. I would not recommend this location to anyone right now, but it if was renovated, I think it would be great as the location in Memphis is good.

I was going to sleep when I heard loud noises outside. I looked out my second floor window and saw 4 people doing smash and grabs on several cars. One of them saw me and pointed a gun at me while they fled. I did not sleep there.

It's cheap and in a great area that's about it

We are an elderly couple who were placed on the sixth floor. Only one elevator was working and it was at the farthest point on a long hall away from our room, which required long walks. The room was dirt with old carpeting. The parking area was vandalized the night before. The whole experience was terrible and we left right away to find a cleaner and safer hotel. I don’t know why La Quinta would keep this property. I’m hoping we will not be charged for the 10 minutes we were at this hotel.

Pillows were great, the breakfast was okay, stayed three days, biscuits n gravy for three days sorta burnt me out, would’ve been nice to have a switch up, eggs w bacon or something like that.
