We weren’t planning on staying but feel so lucky to have stayed here. It was so clean, front desk staff was friendly, the gentleman doing the breakfast was wonderful, and they have freshly ground coffee. Definitely the best place we’ve stayed in a long time! We will look for them everytime we drive through.

I was very impressed with this place. It is brand new, but the staff is very friendly. Breakfast wasn't bad either. Eggs, potatoes and sausage. And the coffee... I've never been at a hotel with on demand single cup brew. First time in a long time that i didn't struggle to finish my coffee.

This is a newer hotel on the edge of Fort Stockton. Be careful going there as the roads are a bit confusing and you might end up back on the interstate (we did that). The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly to us and the other guests. I saw other guests eating in the dining area outside of the breakfast times which seemed to be okay to do. The room was comfortable and having a bigger TV in the room was a plus.

Pros: friendly check in, free parking, free coffee station in lobby, quiet rooms even next to the elevator (didn't hear other guests), good AC, shower stall (vs tub) with plenty of hot water, and the best part was the bed & bedding - nice quality & VERY comfortable - better than more expensive hotels. Cons: smaller rooms, vinyl flooring in room, no microwave or coffee maker in room, free breakfast was low quality and picked over & they ran out of coffee by 9am, construction quality of the rooms (tiling, baseboards, caulking, painting, wallpapering and grout smeared all over the tile flooring) were so sloppy and poorly done making the room look dirty and run down even when its only 3 mos old.

The hotel is new but it was poorly finished. It felt like a remodel instead of a new build. We had an accessible room, but there were no grab bars in the bathroom. The lights in the bathroom are motion lights but they don’t sense motion in the shower. So the lights go out and put you in pitch black. You have to get out of the shower (wet and soapy) to make the lights go on. This is dangerous. It is a cute concept but not well executed. Grout not completed. No caulking around the air/heat unit letting wind blow through, you can see the tape on the ceilings, overspray not cleaned up…..

Friendly staff upon arrival, the room / amenities were safe and clean. The girl checking me in was friendly and talkative. She helped us on many occasions, offering to turn on lobby TVs and get us plates for dinner. The young man in the morning was so polite. Food delivery near. Great place for families with young kids. Would highly recommend and will stay again.

The location is right off the highway, but no in the highway, so no road noise. Very nice spaces inside and out. Great staff! My only suggestion for improvement is to make sure that construction clean is followed by housekeeping. My room was relatively clean, but bathroom floor and shower had a bit of grit, I assume from the grout. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed at the Avid in Fort Stockton for three nights over Thanksgiving, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The hotel was very clean, the atmosphere was quiet, and the breakfast had plenty of good options to get us going each morning. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always professional, which made the stay even better. Overall, a solid and comfortable place to stay. We’ll definitely choose Avid again

Everything and everyone was wonderful. My one recommendation is that you request the top floor. Unfortunately there was a late check in above us and there is no sound dampening between floors so it sounded like a herd of elephants for about an hour while they were getting ready for bed.

First, the girl at the front desk told us we did not have a reservation, which was a lie. So we had to book a night directly there. Turns out she had given our room to someone else! She didn’t check IDs to even confirm properly. Once we did book, all night it kept sounding like someone was trying to break into our room. When we tried to shower it took almost 20mins for the water to get warm

The location is right off the highway, but no in the highway, so no road noise. Very nice spaces inside and out. Great staff! My only suggestion for improvement is to make sure that construction clean is followed by housekeeping. My room was relatively clean, but bathroom floor and shower had a bit of grit, I assume from the grout. Will definitely stay again!

This is a newer hotel on the edge of Fort Stockton. Be careful going there as the roads are a bit confusing and you might end up back on the interstate (we did that). The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly to us and the other guests. I saw other guests eating in the dining area outside of the breakfast times which seemed to be okay to do. The room was comfortable and having a bigger TV in the room was a plus.

loved every thing about the place the only thing needed is better way of driving up to the place, more signs at the entrance off the main road, i passed it and had to get back on the freeway and fine a turn around almost had an accident, but thank god not. that's only thing i see needs attention

We weren’t planning on staying but feel so lucky to have stayed here. It was so clean, front desk staff was friendly, the gentleman doing the breakfast was wonderful, and they have freshly ground coffee. Definitely the best place we’ve stayed in a long time! We will look for them everytime we drive through.

I was very impressed with this place. It is brand new, but the staff is very friendly. Breakfast wasn't bad either. Eggs, potatoes and sausage. And the coffee... I've never been at a hotel with on demand single cup brew. First time in a long time that i didn't struggle to finish my coffee.

Pros: friendly check in, free parking, free coffee station in lobby, quiet rooms even next to the elevator (didn't hear other guests), good AC, shower stall (vs tub) with plenty of hot water, and the best part was the bed & bedding - nice quality & VERY comfortable - better than more expensive hotels. Cons: smaller rooms, vinyl flooring in room, no microwave or coffee maker in room, free breakfast was low quality and picked over & they ran out of coffee by 9am, construction quality of the rooms (tiling, baseboards, caulking, painting, wallpapering and grout smeared all over the tile flooring) were so sloppy and poorly done making the room look dirty and run down even when its only 3 mos old.
