We really enjoyed our stay at Santa Catalina. The room was very nice, well kept and clean. The hotel had a very pleasant vibe. Breakfast was excellent with great variety of options. The service was OK. Great at times and requiring improvement at some instances. We really liked the amenities, including the pools. We found the restrictions on which pools our toddler could use and which not somewhat restrictive. There is absolutely no harm in allowing kids to the soa pool under restricted hours, e.g. morning until 19am. Many other more prestigious hotels do it, why not Santa Catalina. Thankfully staff were accommodating were they could!

Great staff, great facilities, and great location in a quiet oasis in the middle of Las Palmas. Very easy to park in the spacious parkhouse. Restaurants and bars were all doing a great job. The breakfast alone is worth staying there.

Breakfast was fabulous and the hotel has great amenities. The Michelin restaurants were world class but the general restaurant (1890) was ok but there was too big a difference between the quality of the restaurants. The biggest issue was the main bar where the service in the evening was very poor with a 25 min wait to get a drink. Many people were unhappy about this. Overall the hotel is very nice but be prepared for the bar..
