Great stay.. friendly staff. room was clean, and bathroom was clean. The air conditioner was loud every time it came on. After a nightmare cancellation from Club Tahoe the day before our stay we were relocated to this hotel with the Expedia relocation services and we were NOT disappointed. Easy self check in/out. Mobile key. Friendly faces/staff throughout that were kind and helpful. Lovely, clean, heated outdoor pool with hot tub. Gas fire pits to hang out post pool. Convenient location for our baseball tournament at Incline Village. 10/10 would stay here again.

Management needs to do a better job of ensuring all the amenities are ready to use. On both nights we stayed, fire pits were out and we had notified them on 3 separate occasions (2 different managers) no one bother to replace the gas. We could not unfortunately use the pool since most of the afternoon/evening it was being used by a group of 6-8 men who were smoking marijuana and heavily drinking “cervesas” bought from a gas station next door, acting very belligerent. It was not a family friendly environment. Since this is newer Tapestry property I had much higher expectations.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything is new and well thought out. The pool was closed for the season. The hot tub was hot but there was no air coming out of the jets. The continental breakfast was good. The staff in the food service area could be better. We would definitely stay here again.

Your front desk gentlemen Adon was excellent. The Hot Tub was luke warm and the AC is very loud in the room. Also, the shower hot water ran cold in less than 10 minutes. Finally, the housekeeper barged in at 9:30am while we were still sleeping.

We stayed at The Hampton Inn & Suites as a family. We were there for a baseball tournament. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to have a hot breakfast but the items I tried (sausage patties and bagels) were not very tasty. It was fine for my husband and son. My only other complaint is that the air conditioner was really loud, even with my earplugs in. That all being said, it was clean and safe and I would definitely stay there again.

The Hampton Inn and Suites is conveniently located to Palisades Tahoe with just a short 25 min ride to the mtn -- when there are no issues with traffic delays. This is an older property that has been well maintained. Décor is dated, however the property, rooms, lobby, fitness area and pool is clean and well kept. No smells which is key for me!! Continental breakfast was included with our stay which was very nice, good selection of breakfast foods, coffee, tea, etc. Nothing over the top, appropriate for a breakfast on the go. We will stay here again!!

the hotel was in the process of major renovations. the room we were in was brand new and felt very comfortable and updated. we were not aware prior to booking or our stay that the common areas were under construction. we were staying there with another family and anticipated using the lobby or common areas to spend time outside of our rooms together. there was no common space available and we had to come and go from the building through side doors, making our room incredibly far and hard to get to with young children. the service was spectacular but still wish we would have known about the current work being done.

While we were not underneath the roof repair & our window looked out to the parking lot, we did request a first floor room which we had. Biggest drawback to our room was the bathroom door was on a self closing hinge with a VERY loud fan that came on each time the light was turned on. Made it difficult to negotiate the room door & bathroom door. And no night light for the bathroom. Very nice place other than the door issue, close to downtown Truckee & I-80

It's a Hampton Inn with expensive (not free) breakfast. No one at the desk at check-in. No towels at the pool. Calling it a "tapestry collection" property is putting lipstick on a pig.

We had paid for a suite, and when we arrived were given a regular room, we were told by the hotel that they had no suites available however they did not lower the price to the price of a regular room, they kept the charge or the suite. We were told because we booked through hotels.com they didn’t guarantee our reservation of choice of room, when I spoke to Hotels.com, they stated this wasn’t true. The whole first floor was under construction, you couldn’t walk through the hotel to get breakfast, you had to walk outside and walk around. Then the key cards kept being deactivated and continuously had to ask the front desk for help. Another hotel guest injured himself a left a trail of blood and when we notified the front desk, they did nothing. We found out the next day that nothing was still done because the front desk ask the housekeeping to clean the blood when they were serving us breakfast. On our reservation booking it asked us if we wanted to pay to eat breakfast, we selected yes and then they still wanted to charge additional when we showed up for breakfast. The staff that was servicing us for breakfast was having to jump over the counter to help the front desk with translations for calls they were receiving. We asked about whether the laundry facilities were available so we could wash a load of clothes, on the phone we were told it was open, when we asked the front desk where it was located, they said it wasn’t available due to the construction.

I paid $480 ahead of time with Hotels.com. I noticed during my stay that I was double charged and was told the charge would fall off my credit card. When it did not I called and the hotel told me I would have to dispute it with my credit card company because they could not "find" a charge in that amount. The dispute is still unresolved because they haven't responded to American Express. Meanwhile weeks later I am still out $449! It's absolutely maddening since I asked at the hotel and had to call them after multiple times AND deal with this with my credit card company. I would never stay here again.

A step or two above other recent stays (looking at you Best Western Stagecoach Inn). Clean, modern and fresh. A breakfast worthy of the name and worth eating (still a ways away from a Scandic). It was an overnight ski stop and was convenient enough to get to Palisades with a handy Raley's down the road.

The hotel was really nice my only problem with it was at we were informed when we walked in that it's a newly renovated resort and it I informed them with my first time and when I made my reservations through hotels.com I purchased the breakfast for 2 days , we were given no instruction on how to obtain that so the following two days we found out that we were being charged to our room until we finally confronted the girl and they reimbursed us. If we wouldn't have taken the time we would have been double charged. I believe their front desk staff should have been more informative and told us what needs to be done instead of us trying to figure it out. Other than that it's a very nice location
