We had a wonderful stay here. Lovely spacious room with balcony, amazing views from the glass lined dining room. I enjoyed the pool every day although the water is bracing in February! Charming staff from the cheerful dining room manager to our room cleaner, to the receptionist who sent a cup of tea down to my wife when she felt unwell. Highly recommend!

Stayed there 9 nights in Oct24 as a couple, half board. Great location, walkable to centre and few minutes from local restaurants. Parking is very limited and expensive if booked with the hotel at €10/night. Possible to find free parking spaces within 5-10min walk. Food - very subpar, 2/5 stars. Buffet style with similar food all the time - salad, pre-cooked pasta and choice of your own wok combinations. At dinner you have to pay for all drinks - not even tap water is provided for free. Chef needs to go on training - all food severely overcooked (think rubber tuna and sole-like steak). Not tasty at all - so many places around offer much tastier options - regretted to go half-board. Breakfast ok but same everyday. Edible, but not enjoyable. Poor selection and quality of deserts. Facilities - bedroom spacious, comfy bed with many pillows and great housekeeping. Windows could have been upgraded to double glazed - due to location every night you can hear loud noises from the ocean waves and wind - had to sleep with earplugs. Hallways look like from horror movies - tasteless and dated. Outside pools - nice and clean, jacuzzi ice cold though and couldn’t make use of it. Spa area - for additional charge of €15/person you can use “spa” facilities- we tried but instantly regretted and would not bother - dirty grouts and mouldy ceilings, inside hot tub smell like toilet drain, disgusting steam room and hot beds make loud pop noise that prevents any hint of relaxation. A very nice 4* hotel; I’m aware that hotels are designated their stars on the basis of facilities. This hotel is advertised as 5* but in my opinion it is much more inline with what’s expected of 4*. Positives - staff are very friendly, the ocean view from the room was magnificent. Negatives - the coffee at breakfast is truly disgusting, the beds are very hard, the hotel has a very 80’s vibe and decor - think dark wood laminate, foamy ceiling tiles, one buffet restaurant (no ala carte), dismal worn out gym, very small pool. The hotel is pretty much exactly 1 mile from centre of town; great little walk down but a very steep, uphill walk back.

The hotel was in a good location , the reception area and bar was nice . The thermal pool had maintenance issues so was not warm throughout the 4days we were there. The rooms were dated and need a makeover. The buffet food was very average at the best . I would say this hotel is no more than a 3.5 star

We have just returned from a week and an amazing time at Semiramis hotel. we highly recommend and we would definitely return. While we were a bit unfortunate with 3 days of clouds due to kalima, the facilities of the hotel enabled us to nevertheless have a great time. They have an outside pool which is a great length, depth, with loads of beds, showers, pool bar; they also have a lovely heated pool and an outside jacuzzi which adds to a great experience. We were on an all inclusive package and the food was great, plenty of choices at breakfast, lunch and dinner and also the snacks between meals. Drinks are good too, plenty of choices. Every night, the hotel holds a themed dinner: Mexican, ethnic, Mediterranean, gala dinner (amazing fish & seafood dinner), Italian, etc. A lot of prepared food, cooked from fresh food, salads, all sort of dishes and sides, really not short of choice. They do themed shows every night by the pool bar: Singers, dancers, Michael Jackson look alike, opera singer, a Latin band, etc. They organise daily activities like water polo, darts competition, archery, pizza making, acqua gym, pj party for kids, water castle by the pool, etc. The team running the animation by and at the pool is great, super accommodating, helpful, cheerful, always around and ready to help and assist. We had a great time and good value for money. Staff is great, welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help or provide for guests.

Hotel avec d'excellentes infrastructures. Dommage que la piscine extérieure ne soit pas chauffée . Le gros point noir est la restauration : aliments décongelés et bas de gamme. Le repas est beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est (22€ le repas).

La chambre : la poignée de la porte nous est restée dans la main à l arrivée et le coffre fort était fermé. Obligés dès notre arrivée de appeler un réparateur pour tout ça. Pas très propre … L accueil à la réception pas terrible. Les explications vite données sans attendre si nous comprenions. Buffet petit dej très varié et copieux. Bon équipement de l hôtel avec magnifiques piscine et spa. Les chambre donnent sur la route mais la mer est juste derrière et ça compense. Très bon séjour.

J’avais réservé pour une chambre avec deux grands lits doubles et une vue sur la mer, j’arrive le soir pour prendre ma chambre et je m’aperçois que je n’ai qu’un lit et la vue est face à un patio. Même après une plainte à la réception ils n’ont rien fait le soir même car « l’hôtel était complet » alors que j’avais réservé 1 mois avant cette chambre. Je n’ai eu une autre chambre que le lendemain soir. Concernant la chambre, les sols étaient poussiéreux, les draps trop fins et pas de couette pour dormir. Pour un hôtel 5 étoiles c’est pitoyable, je ne vois pas comment ils peuvent conserver leurs étoiles avec un standing pareil. A fuir !

Im großen und ganzen ist das Hotel TOP. Wir wurden sehr freundlich Empfangen. Das Essensbuffet ist riesig und sehr gut. Vor allem, da es jeden Abend ein anderes Thema wie "Italienischer Abend" gibt und somit auch ein wenig Abwechslung zum normalen Buffet. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vorallem Gabriel hat uns sehr viel weitergeholfen. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und sehr sauber. Auch das Personal vom Housekeeping ist sehr freundlich. Bei den Liften muss man jedoch immer mehr Zeit einplanen. Es gibt vier Lifte die vor allem zu den Stoßzeiten ewig brauchen, aber sonst auch nicht so schnell sind. Die Barkeeper sind sehr langsam und wirken oft so, als würden sie sich nicht auskennen und müssen daher oft jemanden anrufen um nachzufragen. Aus diesem Grund musste man auch hier teilweise sehr lange anstellen. Was uns auch noch aufgefallen ist: Die Wassergläser waren oft dreckig, was wahrscheinlich durch eingetrocknete Säfte vom Frühstück bedingt war. Noch als kleine zusätzliche Anmerkung. Es ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, dass es überall deutsche Übersetzungen gibt, jedoch sind diese leider teilweise nicht verständlich und ohne Sinn. Da es in Ihrem Hotel deutschsprachiges Personal gibt würde ich empfehlen dieses darüber sehen zu lassen, da leider nicht jeder die Englische Sprache beherrscht und somit etwas falsch vermittelt werden kann.

Værelset var stort og rummeligt. Men, der var en frygtelig kloaklugt på toilettet som bredte sig til resten af rummet. Vi meldte det i receptionen som overraskende nok var klar over problematikken, men ikke havde gjort noget ved det. Afløbet i bruseren var stoppet og vandet løb ud på gulvet og ind i værelset

Had to remain in our room for nearly 2 days after getting food poisoning from an evening meal. Unsurprising given how dirty the “clean” plates and drinking glasses were. Food options for allergies were very limited, nothing advised to be gluten free. Our first day was very much ‘check in and go’, no information given to us about specific details (I.e bar locations) just a sheet of paper with generic info about things on each floor. The room had silverfish including one in the bed, clean bedding often had dirt remaining. With the main road being directly outside our room, sleeping through the early morning was very difficult as traffic increased, lower floors suffer even more so. The hotel describes itself as five-star however as you go beyond the lobby it’s very apparent how tired the hotel is and how dated many utilities are. The carpets are old, the TV didn’t work, the balcony floor was dirty.

Wir fanden das Hotel und die Lage sehr gut. Was gar nicht akzeptabel war sind die ständig dreckigen Teller am Buffet.Haben es in den 10 Tagen mehrmals angesprochen aber keine Besserung bemerkt.

In general ok, but it claims to be 5* and absolutely isn't. Staff were friendly, the food was reasonably good and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location is good and we usually got a parking space nearby, or at worst 5 minutes walk away. But: Plates in the restaurant were always dirty and the room wasn't always cleaned. The room was very dusty. The window wasn't well sealed and we could hear traffic and outside noise very clearly and could smell cigarette smoke from next door even with the window closed. The hotel has 5 lifts in total, 1 was out of order for the entire stay (18 nights) and another broke down while we were there. The remaining lifts were unpredictable and would even start going up again before reaching the lowest floor that anyone had requested. The room could get very cold at night and there is no heating. There is no rack provided on the balcony to hang wet swim wear to dry which is available in every other hotel I've been to in the canaries.

Check in was awful. Two ladies at the desk, both on phones taking calls however struggled to get guests checked in. The hotel is dated, and while the areas were clean, there was a musty odor in the hallways and in the room. Hotel breakfast was average at best. Besides the check in experience, staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel location is decent, views from room was fantastic.

Emplacement parfait, au calme et proche du centre ville à pied. Beaucoup de places de parking (gratuites) au alentours pou se garer. Le personnel, très sympathique et la chambre très spacieuse avec une magnifique vue mer.

Vue magnifique des chambres mais châssis anciens en alu, non hermétiques et comme l'océan tape contre le rocher devant l'hôtel c'est assez bruyant et quand l'eau fait un peu moins de bruit on entend les voitures car il y a une petite route devant l'hôtel par contre très bonne isolation acoustique intérieure (on n'entend ni les voisins ni de bruit de couloir), chambre supérieure spacieuse et lit très spacieux 220x200 et très confortable ; structure des années 60, très mal fichue; repas bons, menu par semaine, peu de légumes et non variés en légumes, Pas pour végétarien du tout. Desserts de bas niveau ; bar: un seul ouvert cad soit à la piscine soit au lobby, ce qui n'est pas pratique (surtout quand il pleuvine et qu'il faut aller jusqu'au bar derrière la piscine) et longue attente (personnel insuffisant et pas trop pressé), cocktails du all in pas terribles; la piscine couverte ne l'est pas (elle est coincée entre des bâtiments et des escaliers mais en grande partie à ciel ouvert) mais l'eau est bien chauffée et il y a des jets, jacuzzi etc...; la grande piscine était froide et quand le monde est arrivé, les places étaient "chères", les coupes vent qui sont d'anciennes portes coulissantes en aluminium gâchent un peu le paysage mais les chaises longues sont confortables.

We liked everything about the hotel with the exception that the hotel controls the Air conditioner so they turned off when I asked why because it was really hot in the room they said around this time of year they do that and we went in November so we had to sleep with balcony door opened. Other than that it’s a nice place.

A very nice 4* hotel; I’m aware that hotels are designated their stars on the basis of facilities. This hotel is advertised as 5* but in my opinion it is much more inline with what’s expected of 4*. Positives - staff are very friendly, the ocean view from the room was magnificent. Negatives - the coffee at breakfast is truly disgusting, the beds are very hard, the hotel has a very 80’s vibe and decor - think dark wood laminate, foamy ceiling tiles, one buffet restaurant (no ala carte), dismal worn out gym, very small pool. The hotel is pretty much exactly 1 mile from centre of town; great little walk down but a very steep, uphill walk back.

The hotel was in a good location , the reception area and bar was nice . The thermal pool had maintenance issues so was not warm throughout the 4days we were there. The rooms were dated and need a makeover. The buffet food was very average at the best . I would say this hotel is no more than a 3.5 star

Im großen und ganzen ist das Hotel TOP. Wir wurden sehr freundlich Empfangen. Das Essensbuffet ist riesig und sehr gut. Vor allem, da es jeden Abend ein anderes Thema wie "Italienischer Abend" gibt und somit auch ein wenig Abwechslung zum normalen Buffet. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vorallem Gabriel hat uns sehr viel weitergeholfen. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und sehr sauber. Auch das Personal vom Housekeeping ist sehr freundlich. Bei den Liften muss man jedoch immer mehr Zeit einplanen. Es gibt vier Lifte die vor allem zu den Stoßzeiten ewig brauchen, aber sonst auch nicht so schnell sind. Die Barkeeper sind sehr langsam und wirken oft so, als würden sie sich nicht auskennen und müssen daher oft jemanden anrufen um nachzufragen. Aus diesem Grund musste man auch hier teilweise sehr lange anstellen. Was uns auch noch aufgefallen ist: Die Wassergläser waren oft dreckig, was wahrscheinlich durch eingetrocknete Säfte vom Frühstück bedingt war. Noch als kleine zusätzliche Anmerkung. Es ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, dass es überall deutsche Übersetzungen gibt, jedoch sind diese leider teilweise nicht verständlich und ohne Sinn. Da es in Ihrem Hotel deutschsprachiges Personal gibt würde ich empfehlen dieses darüber sehen zu lassen, da leider nicht jeder die Englische Sprache beherrscht und somit etwas falsch vermittelt werden kann.

Only stayed for one night due to our flight being cancelled but what an excellent hotel this is. Easy check in greeted with a Prosecco, reception staff welcoming friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable and wow what a view. Was booked in for breakfast and lots of choice and the food was fresh warm and tasty. Cannot really fault this hotel.

We stayed at the "resort" for 8 nights. Location is good when it comes to airport tranfer, bus stops, restaurants and old town. The check in employees looked fed up of tourists...the room was very big and all face the ocean. There is an issue with the elevators...we booked half board and every meal time, we had issues with finding a table, getting the table cleaned up, and the employees were running mad.it made for a very stressful experiment. 😳 To my eyes..this is not a five star hotel.

El hotel está muy bien, tiene buenas vistas. La piscina climatizada viene muy bien si te alojas fuera de temporada de verano. El bufet está bastante bien, pero lograr que te ubiquen en una mesa y que te sirvan la bebida a veces cuesta. Los ascensores van siempre a reventar y hay que esperar mucho, no ayudaba que hubiera uno de los 4 estropeado durante toda nuestra estancia. Por el contrario, el teléfono de la habitación no funcionaba y lo arreglaron al momento.

Stayed there 9 nights in Oct24 as a couple, half board. Great location, walkable to centre and few minutes from local restaurants. Parking is very limited and expensive if booked with the hotel at €10/night. Possible to find free parking spaces within 5-10min walk. Food - very subpar, 2/5 stars. Buffet style with similar food all the time - salad, pre-cooked pasta and choice of your own wok combinations. At dinner you have to pay for all drinks - not even tap water is provided for free. Chef needs to go on training - all food severely overcooked (think rubber tuna and sole-like steak). Not tasty at all - so many places around offer much tastier options - regretted to go half-board. Breakfast ok but same everyday. Edible, but not enjoyable. Poor selection and quality of deserts. Facilities - bedroom spacious, comfy bed with many pillows and great housekeeping. Windows could have been upgraded to double glazed - due to location every night you can hear loud noises from the ocean waves and wind - had to sleep with earplugs. Hallways look like from horror movies - tasteless and dated. Outside pools - nice and clean, jacuzzi ice cold though and couldn’t make use of it. We stayed a week in May at the Best Semiramis. The buffet all inclusive food was great with daily changes of options like Tex Mex, Italian, Curry night etc. The breakfast was vast and lots of choice again. There was entertainment every evening in the bar. It was close to everything to walk to especially some beautiful botanical gardens 10 mins walk away. There was all the amenities you could need in the room and if you didn't have something the reception would know how to get it for you, eg a kettle for a small cost etc. A good week, we would definitely stay again.

Servizi buoni, personale disponibile, camere ampie e spaziose con spettacolare vista mare e veri letti king size, la struttura non è modernissima in particolare i bagni nelle camere e gli ascensori, il parcheggio riservato agli ospiti praticamente non esiste, ma nel complesso è un ottimo hotel, siamo stati bene.
Servizi buoni, personale disponibile, camere ampie e spaziose con spettacolare vista mare e veri letti king size, la struttura non è modernissima in particolare i bagni nelle camere e gli ascensori, il parcheggio riservato agli ospiti praticamente non esiste, ma nel complesso è un ottimo hotel, siamo stati bene.

Great hotel built into the cliff overlooking the sea. Travelled in Nov. Weather was 33 degrees. Was told air con switched off due to being winter so was a little warm in the room. Other than that, the hotel was great

Im großen und ganzen ist das Hotel TOP. Wir wurden sehr freundlich Empfangen. Das Essensbuffet ist riesig und sehr gut. Vor allem, da es jeden Abend ein anderes Thema wie "Italienischer Abend" gibt und somit auch ein wenig Abwechslung zum normalen Buffet. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vorallem Gabriel hat uns sehr viel weitergeholfen. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und sehr sauber. Auch das Personal vom Housekeeping ist sehr freundlich. Bei den Liften muss man jedoch immer mehr Zeit einplanen. Es gibt vier Lifte die vor allem zu den Stoßzeiten ewig brauchen, aber sonst auch nicht so schnell sind. Die Barkeeper sind sehr langsam und wirken oft so, als würden sie sich nicht auskennen und müssen daher oft jemanden anrufen um nachzufragen. Aus diesem Grund musste man auch hier teilweise sehr lange anstellen. Was uns auch noch aufgefallen ist: Die Wassergläser waren oft dreckig, was wahrscheinlich durch eingetrocknete Säfte vom Frühstück bedingt war. Noch als kleine zusätzliche Anmerkung. Es ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, dass es überall deutsche Übersetzungen gibt, jedoch sind diese leider teilweise nicht verständlich und ohne Sinn. Da es in Ihrem Hotel deutschsprachiges Personal gibt würde ich empfehlen dieses darüber sehen zu lassen, da leider nicht jeder die Englische Sprache beherrscht und somit etwas falsch vermittelt werden kann.

Had to remain in our room for nearly 2 days after getting food poisoning from an evening meal. Unsurprising given how dirty the “clean” plates and drinking glasses were. Food options for allergies were very limited, nothing advised to be gluten free. Our first day was very much ‘check in and go’, no information given to us about specific details (I.e bar locations) just a sheet of paper with generic info about things on each floor. The room had silverfish including one in the bed, clean bedding often had dirt remaining. With the main road being directly outside our room, sleeping through the early morning was very difficult as traffic increased, lower floors suffer even more so. The hotel describes itself as five-star however as you go beyond the lobby it’s very apparent how tired the hotel is and how dated many utilities are. The carpets are old, the TV didn’t work, the balcony floor was dirty.

Wir fanden das Hotel und die Lage sehr gut. Was gar nicht akzeptabel war sind die ständig dreckigen Teller am Buffet.Haben es in den 10 Tagen mehrmals angesprochen aber keine Besserung bemerkt.

Stayed there 9 nights in Oct24 as a couple, half board. Great location, walkable to centre and few minutes from local restaurants. Parking is very limited and expensive if booked with the hotel at €10/night. Possible to find free parking spaces within 5-10min walk. Food - very subpar, 2/5 stars. Buffet style with similar food all the time - salad, pre-cooked pasta and choice of your own wok combinations. At dinner you have to pay for all drinks - not even tap water is provided for free. Chef needs to go on training - all food severely overcooked (think rubber tuna and sole-like steak). Not tasty at all - so many places around offer much tastier options - regretted to go half-board. Breakfast ok but same everyday. Edible, but not enjoyable. Poor selection and quality of deserts. Facilities - bedroom spacious, comfy bed with many pillows and great housekeeping. Windows could have been upgraded to double glazed - due to location every night you can hear loud noises from the ocean waves and wind - had to sleep with earplugs. Hallways look like from horror movies - tasteless and dated. Outside pools - nice and clean, jacuzzi ice cold though and couldn’t make use of it. Spa area - for additional charge of €15/person you can use “spa” facilities- we tried but instantly regretted and would not bother - dirty grouts and mouldy ceilings, inside hot tub smell like toilet drain, disgusting steam room and hot beds make loud pop noise that prevents any hint of relaxation. Preis/Leistung war wirklich gut. Wir hatten HP gebucht. Das Essen war wirklich gut und abwechslungsreich, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß nur das Bett für uns etwas zu hart. Unser Zimmer war unten im 2. Stock und man hatte das Gefühl ein Zimmer im Keller zu haben, immer etwas zu kühl. Leider funktionierte die Heizung nicht, die Temperatur ging gerade so deshalb haben wir dies nicht beanstandet. Sauberkeit war allerdings hervorragend. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden, dennoch ist dies definitiv kein 5 Sterne sondern eher ein 4 Sterne Hotel.

A very nice 4* hotel; I’m aware that hotels are designated their stars on the basis of facilities. This hotel is advertised as 5* but in my opinion it is much more inline with what’s expected of 4*. Positives - staff are very friendly, the ocean view from the room was magnificent. Negatives - the coffee at breakfast is truly disgusting, the beds are very hard, the hotel has a very 80’s vibe and decor - think dark wood laminate, foamy ceiling tiles, one buffet restaurant (no ala carte), dismal worn out gym, very small pool. The hotel is pretty much exactly 1 mile from centre of town; great little walk down but a very steep, uphill walk back.

Hemos estado 1 semana en TI y bueno…No es un hotel de 5* como lo indica ni de lejos. Falta mejorar las instalaciones y el todo incluido es bastante bajo. En cuanto al personal en general bien, quitando algún que otro mal entendido con una camarera el la sala de comidas. La comida es bastante repetitiva y con poco surtido, muchas veces se acababa una cosa y ya no la reponían lo que solucionaban con otro plato diferente pero si querías lo de antes ya no quedaba. La ubicación no es buena tienes una caminata hasta el puerto de la Cruz de unos 20” ademas el acceso del paseo es por una puerta inferior la cual cierran a las 22:45, con el inconveniente de acceder por la otra entrada que tiene mucho más recorrido. En cuanto a las habitaciones, son aceptables pero necesitan una reforma a gritos y el baño poco práctico y antiguo. La reposición de amenities no existe y tienes que pedir constantemente para que te los pongan en fin. Lo único bueno son las vista al mar y poco más, recomendable para mi no.

We got the all inclusive package and the staff was consummating to my friend that is gluten free. The staff is not all bilingual if you do not speak any Spanish. The hotel was nice. There is no AC in the summer just heat. The heated pool was not warm. Pools were fairly dirty. We loved the location and the meals. Breakfast ends a little early but overall it was very convenient and well worth the money

Lovely hotel with incredible views over the sea, very nice pool, good location with restaurants etc nearby and a 15 mins walk to the main part of Puerto de la Cruz (a bit steep on the way back). Plenty of parking within 5-10 mins walk. Breakfast is good, only negative is that the lifts are quite slow.
