The food was excellent; better than we expected for sure. Unbeatable location in terms of relaxing views! Great gym as well with almost all new equipment and good variety. Lovely spa with fantastic service. We had a couple of very windy nights - I would recommend bringing ear plugs for sleeping since the balcony sun-covers and curtains on each room can really rattle around. The bed was also far too soft for our preference but I realise that's quite personal. Overall an amazing stay and would definitely come again!

Overall a positive experience, but the quality of food and drinks could be better. It seemed as if they used the cheapest option instead of whole food in some cases, especially for guests with all inclusive. We also tested the spa area where most of it was out of order. They did not inform us before paying for the entry.

Für eine klassische Bettenburg war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig. Der Ausblick überwältigend. Die Poollandschaft ist sehr schön. Service war gut. Alle waren zu jeder Zeit sehr bemüht. Halbpension war den Aufpreis durchaus wert. Überhaupt gab es an der Preisgestaltung nichts zu beanstanden. Auch der Tiefgargenplatz für 18€/Tag in Ordnung. Schönes Hotel mit kleinen Fehlern , leider war der Wellness Bereich (Hallenbad)mit extra Kosten verbunden. Das parken am Hotel sehr schlecht , will man auf die Garage des Hotel zugreifen muss man 16€ für den Tag bezahlen ist absolut überhöht. Die Liegen am Pool werden immer mit Handtüchern belegt obwohl genug da sind , will man eine Loungeliege kommen auch extra kosten ab 45€ pro Tag dazu. Beim Essen kann ich sagen war eigentlich alles da, das Obst war leider immer so kalt, gefroren sonst ok. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt , schöne Umgebung ,man sollten unbedingt mit dem Auto erkunden da es sehr hügelig und weitläufig ist.

We had a lovely chilled out time at this beautiful hotel. We were initially BB basis and upgraded to AI for our last 2 days, as the food and drinks on offer were great. The only thing I didn’t agree with was that robes are only provided if you are AI, not BB. Also the pool towels have to be taken to/from the gym, not poolside, which the staff agreed was silly too. We had a lovely Deluxe sea-view room with a comfy king sized bed. We also booked the Bali beds for 2 days which meant we had waiter service and drinks in glasses. We’ll definitely return x

Dejligt hotel med super beliggenhed og smuk udsigt med La Gomera. Værelserne er fine og sengen er god. Med 3 størrelser hovedpuder er der noget for de fleste. Dejligt med køleskab på værelserne. Der er friskvandsautomater, så medbring evt. din egen termoflaske. Morgenmaden er rigtig god og indeholder det meste bl.a. friskpresset appelsin juice. Vi havde fravalgt halv/helpension da vi hellere vil spise ude.

Excellent sejour. Hotel très bien situé en front de mer 1ere ligne, vue sur les falaises Gigantes et sur Gomera Bonne cuisine variée . Excellente propreté. Très bon personnel. Belles terrasses. Hotel très bien situé avec une très belle vue sur Gomora et los Gigantes. L'un des intérêts, concerne les piscines dont 2 sur les 3 exterieures sont chauffées et animée avec discrétion ce qui est agréable. Voire même, un accompagnement au violon a l'heure de l'apéritif. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et correct. Le snack au Breeze agreable et les cocktails sont plutot bien réussis et effectué au shaker lorsque necessaire. Les propositions de diners sont variées mais reste toutefois améliorable, le service est efficace et souriant. En revanche, le parking n'est pas inclu et il n'est pas simple de trouver une place.

The views from this hotel were amazing. Staff and other visitors were all very friendly. Nightly entertainment was fantastic and I LOVED watching the mid morning workouts in the pool. The instructor seemed very enthusiastic. Our room was good, except we had two twins pushed together instead of a single bed. We also had large cockroaches in our room and on the patio. We stayed 3 nights and found at least 2 each night, 1 was on the bed. It made the room feel "dirtier" even though everything was very clean. Buffet was great, but food is limited. No room service, and the actual restaurant was not included in the "All-Inclusive" option. Since it was a short stay, it was bearable. Pools were fantastic and we were able to get lounge chairs each day. There is not really a beach, but around the area you could get down to the cliffs and get in the water. I was told there was a beach nearby in the town somewhere. If I were to go again, I don't think I would purchase the all-inclusive. There were restaurants and stores across the street, which would have given us more options.

I loved everything about it. Entire property was clean & well maintained. Staff were friendly & incredibly helpful. Great dining options. Huge amount of drinks to choose from. The spa was just divine!! Will absolutely be going again.

Barceló team members were outstanding and provided great service. Breakfast and dinner buffets consistently showed a very good quality. Room air conditioner only able to keep the room at about 75 degrees F (24 C) and bathroom/ room ventilation didn’t work very well at all, but balcony was outstanding and was able to sleep cool enough with balcony slider open all night once the sun went down.

Lovely hotel set on a cliff edge making for a unique experience and views. Hotel facilities are lovely, good pool options and lounging areas. Nice pool bar. Restaurant was ok although vegetarian options were uninspired therefore lacked variety for a week long stay, and food was often overcooked or dry. Entertainment options were nice. Local area was lovely, a small town which was friendly and great to walk around, although being on a cliff edge means lots of steep inclines and steps. Great coastal walking route. Supermarket just outside the hotel is great for grabbing essentials especially given no free access to drinking water at the hotel unless on a AI package. Room was nice and the private loungers in the garden room was great to get away from the crowds and enjoy the sun and views. Bed was ok but not the most comfortable. Bathroom was not very private and shower had a slow drain therefore could only be used for a few minutes otherwise would flood the room.

A beautiful resort right on the shoreline with incredible sunsets and views of Los Gigantes cliffs. The room comes with a private balcony, and includes daily housekeeping. Amenities in the hotel room are basic, but clean and work. The buffet style breakfast and dinners are included in the half board option- we used the breakfast and dinner daily. Pools and the sun deck are stunning and well maintained.

Hotellet var bra, mest pga av läget som är fantastiskt! Precis vid havet med utsikt över Los Gigantes. Alla rum hade havsutsikt, mer eller mindre. Vi fick först ett rum på nedre våningen med balkong precis vid en promenadväg vilket gjorde att man blev utstirrad av alla som gick förbi så vi bad om att få byta rum vilket vi fick, utan problem. Dock blev det då utan sol på terrassen. Rummet saknade också badrum, endast en vägg emellan säng och toalett/dusch. Toaletten var också minimal. Så man får kolla var rummet ligger om man ska bli helt nöjd. Hotellet är väldigt långsträckt med endast 2 hissar på samma ställe, så man får vara beredd på att gå en hel del. I övrigt jättebra, fantastiskt fin frukost också.

Gut gefallen war mir die gänge im Hotel. Der Empfang bei der Ankunft war sehr unfreundlich hat mich extrem gestört. Ansonsten waren alle sehr nett. Jeden Abend ein tolles Programm und das Essen war abwechselnd und gut. Eine sehr schöne Anlage. Die Frau vor der Eingangshalle im Servicebüro ist nur zu empfehlen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Very loud music in the bar next to the hotel kept us awake for two nights. Hotel refused to move us as it claimed no rooms available. Their website showed availability. They then agreed to move us but only if we cancelled our stay; forfeiting our up front payment and rebook. At which point my partner burst in to tears. After further lengthy 'discussions' they agreed to move us without us having to cancel our existing reservation. We got the impression this hotel was more of a logistical operation rather than a hospitality venue, churning hundreds of 'guests' in and out each week. This establishment is massive and if you are not used to hundreds of people dining and living under one roof or able to cope with poor sound insulation it is best avoided. In addition I emailed to ask if I needed to prebook parking and was told this was not possible and I should enquire when checking in. No space was available so was told to park elsewhere and that I should have prebooked! A friend who was staying with us prebooked and had a parking space. Parking on the street near the hotel is a nightmare.

Schöne Anlage, sauber und ruhig. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit super Ausblick, es gibt aber auch paar „schlecht“ gelegene Zimmer, bei der Buchung ggf. um ein besseres Zimmer bitten. Personal überwiegend freundlich, ab der Poolbar ist aber leider aufgefallen, dass die vor Ort zahlenden Kunden (also Kunden ohne All Inclusive) bevorzugt wurden, was schade ist.

Great views and the staff were super friendly. Did not experience any queuing issues that others have mentioned. Facilities were clean and surrounding areas were serene and relaxing. Food options are plentiful and there’s something for everyone if you have picky eaters. Had a small issue in the room with the AC (normal wear and tear) but was promptly taken care of. Very happy with everything and would highly recommend.

The hotel is great, clean and very well presented, the pool is nice and the spa is excellent. On the downside, table service at the pool bar can be somewhat slow, and I spent many nights waving at the staff to get attention. Secondly, all inclusive terminates at 12pm, so if you are like me and had a transfer at 2, you have to pay for refreshments, despite having paid all inclusive for the day.

Luxury hotel with every amenity, great rooms, wonderful pool areas, large breakfast buffet and one million tourist-shops nearby, but beware; this is a tourist-machine. Perfect if you enjoy that, but for us we missed a bit of personality and individuality. Service from staff was excellent, but the other guests were old and a bit self centered ;) We tried the a’la carte restaurant and it was excellent, and the drinks in the bar and pool bar vas very nice! Great place for a couple of days of luxury (with the other pensioners :P), and be sure to visit the karaoke/troubadourbar just across the street!

En effet il est très difficile de trouver une place dans les rues adjacentes même loin de l'Hôtel. Das Hotel hat eine einmalige Lage. Und die Aussicht ist einfach genial. Es ist alles modern und hochwertig, der Service ist sehr nett. Nicht so schön ist, dass jeder dort morgens schon mit Handtüchern die Liegen reservieren kann und dann einfach lange Zeit verschwindet. Da müsste das Hotel mehr darauf achten. Beim Parken muß man geduldig sein. Da die Garage trotz 14 Euro/Tag ausgebucht ist, muß man sich in den Seitenstraßen auf die Suche begeben. Aber wir haben immer etwas bekommen. Zur Not gibt es in der Nähe ein Parkhaus.

A lovely stay at this property. It’s walkable to Los Gigantes, restaurants and stores. Parking is at a premium, but there is a taxi stand in front of the hotel and a garage up the hill. The nightly entertainment was a nice surprise. There were plenty of overall food options and even being gluten free, I always found something to eat. The pool decks were very nice and there was plenty of seating.

We loved the pools and the views from the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. We did not love the no food to the room and no water bottles in the room. We also did not like the service, often waiters would only come to your table once and if you did not ask for water they would not bring anything. The bar always had a massive line.

Had an amazing stay at Barcelo Santiago - the rooms were really clean and spacious, the sea views were incredible and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The buffet and pool bar food options were great - as a vegan they had lots of vegan and veggie options alongside the regular meals, and the all inclusive option was good value for money. The surrounding area is quite quiet around the hotel so good for those not wanting the Tenerife ‘party’ holiday. Would definitely recommend and go back!

Our first experience in a Barcelo hotel and adults only. It was a fab experience with great food (I put on weight!) - they had a different additional theme each night. Pool area was stunning. The pools were on the cooler side like most hotels but my husband enjoyed his swim. Didn’t get chance to try indoor spa but available at extra cost. Walking distance both ways from hotel. Enjoyed the walks and went to the harbour a couple of times and did a boat trip. Quiet area so if you want lively bars etc maybe not for you. But suited us. Would probably need to catch a bus to see other areas. Would recommend this hotel.

Food very basic! If u r a quantity n not quality eater ur in the right place! Breakfast N dinner is like feeding frenzy ! over cooked vegetables n under cook meat n not great quality! If u like cold n under cooked pizza cold pasta every night u found the right place !

What a wonderful hotel and the all inclusive was excellent. We enjoyed having lunch at Breeze overlooking the ocean - you could even have steak! Breakfast and dinner buffets were brilliant as well. The all inclusive included all drinks and the cocktails were freshly made. The wine was from a bottle and not on tap and very good quality. I recommend the pina coladas and Aperol Spritz! The pool area was well maintained - we could always find a sunbed. We hired a car which was quicker and cheaper than a transfer from the airport and have us the opportunity to drive up Mt Teide and to the Masca Gorge - both of which were stunning views and the landscape is beautiful. All in all a wonderful relaxing week away! Thank you Barcelo Santiago!
