The hotel opened just recently in November 2024. Some of the rooms were still under construction to be finished just in time for the main season. There was however no disturbance through the works. The rooms are super nice with modern yet cozy furniture! The direct access to the beach is amazing and the beach club is equipped with a great bar, comfortable sun beds and seating options. The food is amazing as well! Only things that I would criticize: lack of parking (you need to park on public parking lot 150m away which is 400 pesos - 20€/ day). Also there would be the need for additional hooks in the rooms to hang stuff as well as a second bed table.

The hotel is well-located, within walking distance of many popular restaurants and shops. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. The beach was well-maintained and free of seaweed, unlike other hotels nearby. The food was delicious—I highly recommend the burrata pizza, and the Layla burger was fantastic! The bar offers a good variety of traditional cocktails as well as house specialties. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Sana Tulum!

Sana Tulum was absolutely beautiful. We came here for a wedding (at a different hotel) and decided to stay here to get away from the crowd, as we wanted to make this our mini moon since we recently got married in March! Rooms were updated, cleaning service came twice a day. They were very kind and accommodating - the food was good (get the burrata pizza and the fish tacos!). Very very clean and the workers are constantly moving throughout to ensure it's clean and habitable. Bugs weren't too bad - obviously bring your bug spray! Sofía, Joss, Jonh & Anda Were incredible and greeted us daily, making sure we were satisfied with the service. The seaweed was present but out of the hotels control - they had workers outside day in and day out removing it from the beach. The rooftop pool is beautiful. Honestly, great for photos and aesthetic - we hired professional photographers through the hotel and didn't even have to leave the hotel to take photos since there was so much to see! The photographers were INCREDIBLE by the way!! (Pedro & Anaurora). We loved it here and would return again in the future. Thank you for an incredible stay!

I got full princess Jasmine vibes staying here it was stunningly beautiful. I opted to stay here since I wanted to relax and unwind it peace and quiet and that’s exactly what this delivered. The place is clean and no complaints on that. There was a lot of sagrado upon my stay BUT nothing hotel could do we just went on bad timing. Things I do think facility could improve on is the overall pool it was quite small as a 5’6 & 6ft couple we didn’t much enjoy the pool as we felt we couldn’t stand on it.

Our first trip to Tulum was unforgettable thanks to Sana! The hotel is located right on the beach—we literally stepped out of our room and were on the sand every morning. We stayed in an ocean view plunge pool room with direct access to the beach and bar, which made everything super convenient. The Mediterranean design throughout the property is stunning, and every detail was thoughtfully done. Huge thanks to Jonathan and Anda for being so helpful with food spots, local recs, and even arranging a rental car delivered to us. All the staff were friendly and made sure we had the best experience. We’ll definitely be back and staying at Sana again!

Beautiful property. The staff were absolutely fantastic! There is not a need that you might have that the staff will not tend too. John and Adna will do everything to make sure your stay is fabulous. This property is further down in hotel zone, quiet, clean, and the staff will park the car for you. Absolutely beautiful rooms. The beds were not comfortable to me but they did add extra padding for comfort which did help. There is a closet for your clothes but no dressers. They provide you with all the toiletries. Definitely a 10/10. Absolutely stunning property and awesome staff.

Sana and its entire staff was absolutely top tier. The facility was clean and refreshing as a change of scenery of the “”Tulum” aesthetic. Our room was upgraded and we had a peaceful and relaxing time. We will certainly be back to enjoy for our next vacation as this trip was strictly for work. Top marks all around for Sana Tulum. O hotel bem localizado, o quarto com boas instalações. Mas, a limpeza do hotel deixou a desejar. O cafe da manhã foi um absurdo de tao pouco e com limitações. Só poderia pedir um café, um ovo, frutas eram fatoas tao pequenas que mais parecia para um bebê. E foi cobrado proprina em tudo que nos foi servidos. Nao entendo como vobram tao caro em uma fiaria e sinda temos que pagar proprina para ser atendidos. Cafe da mamha o pior que ja vi na minha vida. Nao recomendo esse hotel. Nao vale a pena o custo benefício. Por este valor, tem muitos putros em tulum onde podemos nos servir a vontade no café da manhã

Me and wife stayed at this hotel for 4 days. We are highly recommending Sana Hotel. We definitely consider returning to this place as All aspect of this resort was excellent. From overall service to food. Rooms and design is amazing. Every corner is spotless and clean. We tried most of the food option and not even once we had a Mediocare dish. Pablo by the beach gave us a great and pleasant service. Alexis at concierge was very helpful. We have no negative comment. Might me helpful to Mention all the prices are very reasonable. We had the best stay at the Sana hotel. First off we got in at 8am however check in was at 3pm and they kindly gave us a courtesy room to settle in which was amazing so we were able to shower and not sit in the heat for hours! This was thanks to Anda who was working the front desk at the time. She was amazing and super helpful! Then we got moved to our other room which our AC started leaking so we had to move rooms and they moved us to the Penthouse with a private pool. Thanks to Jonn, he gave us this amazing option and it really made our stay absolutely incredible. He also helped with all our transportation which made it super easy and stress free. The service was EXCELLENT! I was in contact with the front desk on whatsapp the whole time and they respond immediately. Even the kind workers who brought our room service up to the pool for us was just over the top so kind and amazing people. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a romantic relaxing vacation. This was the best hotel my boyfriend and I have ever stayed at and we will definitely be back.

Hotel and staff were outstanding. Being able to use WhatsApp to arrange transport and answer any questions was super helpful. Samantha and Jonathan couldn’t do enough to make our stay - even going out to get some superglue for my broken glasses! Location was at the end of South Tulum which meant quieter position but not as many places nearby without a lengthy walk or (expensive) taxi ride. That said restaurant and food offerings were lovely (if not a little expensive - but that’s Tulum!) and breakfast had great healthy options. Access to a beautiful beach but the mosquitoes were annoying - maybe some smaller incense burners like the ones used in the restaurant would help? Overall a great place to stay to chill out and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Tulum.

So I’ve been to 37 countries so far and stayed at many places internationally and I will say that the front desk was outstanding at the concierge seriously always there for you no matter what time it was! They were there to give us advice on where to go and the best places and they were all really warm and welcoming through our entire stay! Also if there was ever an issue they were prompt at fixing the problem! The hotel was gorgeous and it was my friend reunion trip and we have been to Morocco before and the hotel was exceptional at capturing that essence! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We stayed in an ocean view plunge pool room with direct access to the beach and bar, which made everything super convenient. The Mediterranean design throughout the property is stunning, and every detail was thoughtfully done. Huge thanks to Jonathan and Anda for being so helpful with food spots, local recs, and even arranging a rental car delivered to us. All the staff were friendly and made sure we had the best experience. We’ll definitely be back and staying at Sana again!

I loved my stay at the Sana Tulum. The staff was literally incredible and interested in all my wants and needs. The hotel itself is brand new in a stunning beachfront location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend this resort

Hotel and staff were outstanding. Being able to use WhatsApp to arrange transport and answer any questions was super helpful. Samantha and Jonathan couldn’t do enough to make our stay - even going out to get some superglue for my broken glasses! Location was at the end of South Tulum which meant quieter position but not as many places nearby without a lengthy walk or (expensive) taxi ride. That said restaurant and food offerings were lovely (if not a little expensive - but that’s Tulum!) and breakfast had great healthy options. Access to a beautiful beach but the mosquitoes were annoying - maybe some smaller incense burners like the ones used in the restaurant would help? Overall a great place to stay to chill out and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Tulum.

We stayed at the Sana Tulum Beachfront Boutique Hotel for three nights, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our stay! The hotel is well-located, within walking distance of many popular restaurants and shops. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. The beach was well-maintained and free of seaweed, unlike other hotels nearby. The food was delicious—I highly recommend the burrata pizza, and the Layla burger was fantastic! The bar offers a good variety of traditional cocktails as well as house specialties. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Sana Tulum!

Sana Tulum was absolutely beautiful. We came here for a wedding (at a different hotel) and decided to stay here to get away from the crowd, as we wanted to make this our mini moon since we recently got married in March! Rooms were updated, cleaning service came twice a day. They were very kind and accommodating - the food was good (get the burrata pizza and the fish tacos!). Very very clean and the workers are constantly moving throughout to ensure it's clean and habitable. Bugs weren't too bad - obviously bring your bug spray! Sofía, Joss, Jonh & Anda Were incredible and greeted us daily, making sure we were satisfied with the service. The seaweed was present but out of the hotels control - they had workers outside day in and day out removing it from the beach. The rooftop pool is beautiful. Honestly, great for photos and aesthetic - we hired professional photographers through the hotel and didn't even have to leave the hotel to take photos since there was so much to see! The photographers were INCREDIBLE by the way!! (Pedro & Anaurora). We loved it here and would return again in the future. Thank you for an incredible stay!

O hotel bem localizado, o quarto com boas instalações. Mas, a limpeza do hotel deixou a desejar. O cafe da manhã foi um absurdo de tao pouco e com limitações. Só poderia pedir um café, um ovo, frutas eram fatoas tao pequenas que mais parecia para um bebê. E foi cobrado proprina em tudo que nos foi servidos. Nao entendo como vobram tao caro em uma fiaria e sinda temos que pagar proprina para ser atendidos. Cafe da mamha o pior que ja vi na minha vida. Nao recomendo esse hotel. Nao vale a pena o custo benefício. Por este valor, tem muitos putros em tulum onde podemos nos servir a vontade no café da manhã

Beautiful hotel by the beach and excellent service. Limited breakfast menu and they charge for breakfast if you order anything not in breakfast menu. Staff were super nice and friendly.

Our experience at SANA Hotel Tulum was truly remarkable! The hotel itself is stunning, with a prime beachfront location and a variety of fantastic restaurants and shops just a short distance away. We loved starting our mornings with breakfast on the beach, and the food and drinks at the beach club were absolutely delightful. A special shout-out to the outstanding service team!

Property is solid, came during seaweed season, but that wasn’t their fault. My biggest complaint comes from the food, mediocre, and pricey, more the mediocre than the price, I understand it’s Mediterranean style food, but no spice, no salt, I asked for some type of breakfast meat with my breakfast eggs, none available, fix the food menu. Staff was great. New hotel, so I definitely think it can be salvaged.

Me and wife stayed at this hotel for 4 days. We are highly recommending Sana Hotel. We definitely consider returning to this place as All aspect of this resort was excellent. From overall service to food. Rooms and design is amazing. Every corner is spotless and clean. We tried most of the food option and not even once we had a Mediocare dish. Pablo by the beach gave us a great and pleasant service. Alexis at concierge was very helpful. We have no negative comment. Might me helpful to Mention all the prices are very reasonable. We have travelled a lot but I never write a review. This time I had to write my positive review
