Average hotel, room was fine although it was noisy from the adjacent road. Take ear plugs, it’s not well insulated, you can hear dogs barking and we were on the 8th floor. Housekeeping man super happy and friendly. Gym/fitness area is poorly equipped, also has carpet flooring which was pretty gross, wasn’t clean. Had massages which were good. Had a swim in the pool which was fine but not a relaxing place to relax beside, but it is central Delhi. Breakfast decent.

At this property, the staff treated you like you were royalty. They were so kind and so wonderful from the man cleaning my room to the front desk to the servers. The room was clean. The pool was nice. The food was excellent. The massage treatments were fantastic. All in all we think this is an excellent properly. We would highly recommend it if you’re coming to Delhi and want to be treated well and staying a nice place with fantastic amenities.

Centrally located in New Delhi. Convenient location near markets and sightseeing but secluded, safe and quiet. Breakfast and dinner buffet is diverse and delicious, there is also a bar, gym, pool and spa. Courteous and helpful staff, definitely my home base whenever I'm in Delhi.

Great hotel for our first time in New Delhi. Staff are excellent, accommodating, friendly and want to make your stay memorable. Used the pool and took advantage of the spa facilities. Minor point is that some aspects of the hotel could be refreshed like the seating in the bar, pool towels were clean but are close to needing replacement. These things are not as important to us as the incredible service provided by all areas of the hotel operations. They really made our stay special.

Staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was great. The hotel did not permit for any drinks or food to be consumed next to the pool and in fact whilst the pool was right next to the restaurant there was no direct access. You had go back to the lift, go to the lower ground floor, go through the spa and then out just to get 5 metres away from where you started. The pavement outside the hotel was in a terribly poor state and made the place feel unsafe.

Great hotel. Good value for money. Staff were excellent. Rooms were comfortable, bathrooms were fairly modern and clean. Location is perfect, close enough to lively spots but seperated just enough to allow you a peaceful sleep. Restaurant food is absolutely fantastic, however not very clean. Tables appear to have never been cleaned beyond a light dusting. Roaches spotted on buffet table. That is often the case in India based on my experiences though so you generally just accept it and remain cautious when eating.

Dated and Overpriced The hotel feels very outdated for the price. The furniture in the rooms is old, worn out, and covered in grime. Everything looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in a long time. Definitely not worth what they’re charging.

Hotel is a solid 3.5 star. Room was spacious, shower was amazing. Zero sound proofing in room, could hear everything. TV is very small and analogue channels. Location is convenient to Connaught Place, but there's really nothing in terms of retail or commercial facilities right outside the hotel - ie have to walk quite a bit or take 5 minute by transport to Connaught Place. Restaurant was OK and breakfast buffet had many options. All in all, a decent place but unsure I'd stay again.

Had many issues, cable/tv did not work well. It runs off an old cable system, audio would cut out and had call service twice. TVs are computer monitor sizes. Hot water stopped working all together, no running water twice over two days. Restaurant food is average to poor quality. Our room smelled like mildew, however another room we visited did not. Overall the hotel needs updating.

1. The air conditioning in the room cannot be controlled. A single 'button' that goes through 1,2,3, off fan speed. 2. The electric outlets are Indian plugs only. No provision for visitors like me from the USA to plug in. U need your own Indian to US/International converter device. 3. Switching off or dimming the lights in the room is very difficult. It goes dark, or some bright lights remain. In my two days I could not figure out the lighting!!!

We arrived at 5am as our flight was cancelled, the manager allowed us to keep the room until 4pm free of charge and also included a complimentary breakfast. Both really appreciated after our delayed journey. In all excellent customer service.

Will never use this hotel ever again due to some of the staff being not attentive and rude. 1. When we checked in, the reception guy that was dealing with us, got us to wait whilst attending another customer whom is currently staying at the hotel and attended to his query. These are all European or English people. 2. A few of the canteen staff were only attentive to the Europeans and didn’t care if we needed more coffee or drinks but table next to us got asked constantly. 3. We had to leave at 7am for a tour and ask the receptionist can we come in 15 minutes early to get a coffee and fruit before we left and he said he can’t do that, then asked him if they could pack something for us and he said no. 2 days later another couple got all they packed breakfast for their tour. Have spoken to the manager and he seems nice and apologetic which was nice but never again this hotel and puts me off Delhi.

Later, we inquired at the front desk on the phone and were informed there were no other rooms available. However, inquiring at the front desk, we found there was another room with two beds. The Hotels.com reservation for two beds did not carry over to the property

If I could give less stars I would…The hotel itself was fine physically. However, we feel like we have been taken advantage of since we arrived. We were WAY overcharged for the cab ride from the airport. We have confirmed this with several other places. Then we wanted to use our spa credit that came with our room for massages..not only were we not allowed to use our spa credits, but they overcharged us on the massages as well. The prices keep changing for everything. This is not a good feeling for the place you are staying. Lastly, during my friend’s massage he felt very violated and was touched inappropriately during the massage, he was offered “extra” services that were unwanted. Overall a terrible experience. Do not recommend.

Poor customer service at reception . I bought some clothes and told reception a package will be delivered and I might not be in at that time, reception said ok but when the package was being delivered, they declined. The boys st the reception desk gave poor excuse when questioned. Most of the staff are very good or excellent. Raj Kumar , cook, Himanshu and others. Temperature in Delhi was 44-45 and door persons had to wear heavy clothing, suits to stand outside in that heat to open door for guests. Human abuse. They can stand inside and come out to open the door. I will not be going to this hotel again. .

Amazing helpful and very polite staffs especially Mr Aryan and Mr Faisal both are front desks staff. Treated me very well with a warm welcome drinks and tried to help me and look after me in every single steps. The hotel has full accuraciey and was very busy even though these people Mr Aryan and Faisal made my life easier. Smooth checked in and smooth checked out. Superb. Definitely see you guys soon.

Property was fine. Mostly clean except so many dirty finger smudges on the bathroom mirror. There were like 7 workers at the front door, but only a single worker at the reception counter. He answered an angry call while we were trying to check in and it took forever. He needed more help. It was the same at checkout- many employees standing around the front door, but only one at checkout counter. Again, it took too long.

Hotel is in a darker area of the city at night and not somewhere I might consider venturing out. Hotel itself has the usual security team checking all vehicles entering the property. Hotel room is clean and modern. Didn’t eat in the restaurants so no comment on those but did order some food to room and that was okay. Didn’t have time to use spa facilities.

Honestly, they serve the worst breakfast anywhere among decent hotels. Poor service, limited crockery/cutlery, recycled food from previous night’s buffet, poor menu choices - the list can go on and on. Even water is not served or placed on the tables. The bathroom in my room was very user unfriendly involving a steep climb and drop into the bath tub - a sure shot nightmare for seniors.

I booked this hotel on the recommendation of a colleague. The hotel is ok, a little old, but the room was in clean and in good condition. There were two drawbacks. 1. I could not get my PC to log onto the wifi no matter how I tried. The wifi system logon is a little cranky - not like other hotels now. My cellphone did log on but the PC did not. 2. The food and drink is too expensive - not good value for money. Will not stay there again

I recently spent a few nights at The Metropolitan Hotel in Delhi and had a truly wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a great base for our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was our meal at the SAKURA restaurant. Room was clean. Needs refurbishing. Very old curtains, chairs etc look like original from when built in 2000…. Staff good. Gym is poorly kept and needs refurbishing and new exercise mats… they are worn through and filthy dirty….., I complained and they disappeared but not replaced. Food is good no issues staff good no issues generally clean but nothing extra. It is a good hotel for say 140 usd per night… otherwise try others
