Exceptional!. It's a very beautiful hotel. It has beautiful gardens and a huge swimming pool. The view to the ocean is breathtaking. It's clean and quiet. Rooms spacious and have comfortable beds. The staff members are very friendly. I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. Highly recommended.

It was an incredible spot. I would stay and would recommend. Two negatives were communication around food/bar... We were told a few different times that they had a pool bar open, even when we checked in. Nonetheless it never was, and when we asked other stay they said "they did not know'. Ultimately, that did not matter as the location of rooms to the pool were extremely close. 2nd point was having a room cleaned every 3 days (we were there for 8 nights). We were happy with that and no complaints other than our rooms was only cleaned the first time after 3 days, never again. Honestly, we didn't care, just again, some poor communication, or false expectations. Realistically, I have recommended this hotel already to other friends, brought more family and we all would travel there again.

We had the best holiday staying at Villa D'Agua Beachfront resort, from the moment we got into our apartment we were really impressed with the space. Beautiful interior with all the amenities needed, the most gorgeous decking area with sea view and pool view. The gardens and pool area were lovely, great swimming pool for children too. Very quiet and relaxing. Lots of lovely rockpools and caves to explore down on the front steps to the beach too. Reception staff were great in answering questions, the pool bar was unfortunately closed but next year they plan to have a bar and resturant area. Surrounding area was really lovely, two great beaches within a ten minute walk and so many great restaurants too. No need for car rental unless you want to explore surrounding areas. We did have a few days trips to Lagos and surrounding beaching with was great when the weather was overcast. A very relaxing holiday with plenty of lovely walks and places to eat. We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful resort! The morning breakfast was delicious with a lot of food (pastries, meat and cheese board, bowl of fruit plus you can order off their menu….omelette, pancake, avocado toast). The servers are very attentive and also quite entertaining. We looked forward to seeing them each and every morning. The restaurant for dinner is also quite good too. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool is quite large. Both the pool and breakfast area overlook the ocean. There are stairs leading down to a private beach that you can explore. No beach chairs buts the views and backdrop are well worth a trek down the stairs. Only negative was the parking. We rented a MG and it barely fit in the parking space. Most cars took up one and a quarter of another space. Not a big deal for us because the resort wasn’t full but it will be during the busy season.

What a gorgeous property! We loved everything! The apartment was beautifully decorated and cozy! The grounds and pool area are amazing! The walks around the coast had fantastic views! Easy walk to shops and restaurants! One of the most favourite places I have ever stayed! Loved it!

Lovely apartment, clean, newly refurbished. Pool is lovely and clean but not heated, too cold to enjoy in October. Access to beautiful beaches are great. 10 mins walks to shops and restaurants.

This was a beautiful stay with staff who gave us excellent service and accomodation which was clean, very comfortable and well maintained. This was the perfect break for us, giving luxury, tranquility and lovely visual aspects. The grounds are landscaped and you can walk down to the beach through the pine trees. Pure joy!

Beautifully presented complex with immaculate grounds and apartment. The accommodation was very spacious and it felt like we were the first people to stay in the apartment, it was pristine! Really friendly and helpful staff.

This property needs to step it up. You can tell they just barely finished updates (still much more to go). Rooms are styled nice. NO Washcloths for your face, even after requested, they do not have. Kitchens are not fully equipped. No paper towels, no ice cube trays and they act annoyed when you request any ice to the room. Coffee was never refreshed when cleaning crew came through. no daily turnovers (not the end of the world) but every 3 days?? only giving each person 1 towel per person for 3 days. drains were never cleaned out before our stay so first showers overflowed into the bathroom. one shower constantly flooded bathroom floor even after drain was cleaned of TONs of hair from previous guests. No room service, no food or snacks anywhere onsite. the "pool bar" was the saddest of all (there was barely even anyone there if you did want something). pool was beautiful though. Definitely located away from things, you will need a car if you stay here. I would not return

We had such a wonderful stay at this brand-new hotel. From the moment we arrived, Antonio and Margarita welcomed us so kindly and patiently, making us feel right at home. What really stood out was how the whole team knew us by name, such a rare and personal touch that made our stay feel extra special. The property itself is stunning, modern, spotless, and right on a beautiful almost hidden stretch of beach. Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. It’s the perfect place to relax, whether by strolling around exploring the resort (I found a lovely spot on the cliff for yoga), or enjoying the pool. The food at the restaurant was excellent throughout our stay, and the service was just as memorable. Paolo in the bar and restaurant was outstanding, without doubt the best server I’ve ever had (and I’ve worked in hospitality myself). Attentive, genuine, and a real credit to the hotel. This hotel is a true gem, and we’re already planning to return for a longer stay. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape!

Väldigt fint ställe, rent o fräscht- modernt. Havsutsikt. Lyxiga handdukar. Städservice var tredje dag. Lugnt o tyst. Fint poolområde. Aldrig fullt. Tyvärr trasig ac på sovrummet dag 1, lagades efter 2 dagar, fick låna fläkt andra natten. Det som kunde gjort det bättre är om det funnits ett gym på området och ev frukost. Vi är väldigt nöjda med uppehållet, kommer gärna tillbaka.

Within 10 minutes of arriving I fell down the second flight of stairs leading to the bedroom and sustained a nasty injury to my head, knee and hand. There was no handrail which could have prevented my fall. I reported my injury to the receptionist who gave me ice and the number of a taxi if I needed to go to a hospital. She said she would report my injury to the manager and my concern regarding a lack of handrail. I stayed 8 nights and no one from the company contacted me to see how I was or to investigate the accident. I subsequently found out that in July a guest had pointed out the lack of a handrail and that the stairs were dangerous and that the manager had confirmed that the issue had been addressed. This is not true and very misleading. We booked a room with a seaview and were given a room with a view of another apartment. The receptionist asked for proof we had booked a seaview which was somewhat insulting as all rooms on this site when we booked and anytime I have checked since are described as having sea views. We were transferred to a room at 7pm the following day which had a partial sea view. We were obviously very low priority. Towels were changed after two days and nothing thereafter and the bins were not emptied. We should not have to ask for basic service. As previous guest has pointed out the balconies are not safe for young children and in general the apartment is not safe until handrails are put in on all the stairs.

We had a pleasant stay at this resort last week and our experience was exceptional. The rooms were spacious, very well designed, modern with direct access to an outdoor patio area, access to the pool and less than five minutes walk to the beach. The room offered a self-catering service and we made full use of the space available. The most beautiful thing was the open plan kitchen, which allowed us to be in the same space while cooking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this resort.

I went on a girls trip to Albufeira and we stayed at Masana Algarve. First of all, the property is absolutely stunning, so peaceful and relaxing. Our very modern villa included everything we needed and more and was beautifully decorated and clean - it felt like we were on a retreat. There are beautiful nature trails to the beach and amazing views from the grounds. The staff were exceptional! At the front desk (Margarida and Rui) greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel right at home and the service team at the restaurant and bar (Paulo, Miguel and Andre) made every meal enjoyable and we will not forget their kindness. The hotel manager, Antonio made sure we were taken care of for my birthday celebration and went above and beyond to accommodate us. I cannot say enough good things about Masana. If you are traveling to the Algarve, you must stay here.

The hotel manager, Antonio made sure we were taken care of for my birthday celebration and went above and beyond to accommodate us. I cannot say enough good things about Masana. If you are traveling to the Algarve, you must stay here.

This hotel is unfortunately not finished and has a serious problem when it comes to bird excrement from seagulls who have claimed some of the properties. The apartment itself was great and modern and clean but the stairs are dangerous as there is no handrail on the lower part and they are slippery tile. The patio doors are also terrible as they don’t actually lock and the shutters are very hard to open. The balcony upstairs also has a large gap where a child could fall through so we had to put our daughter downstairs and my wife slept upstairs on the sofa bed. We only had housekeeping twice in the week (once being our final night which was strange) even though it listed daily housekeeping. There is no pool bar as listed but it wouldn’t matter as the mess and pool is disgusting you do not want to be near it. I have never in all my years travelling witnessed such a mess from wildlife and the smell was revolting. We did flag with the hotel and they attempted to clean it but the swimming pool itself is so dirty it is a health hazard. I over heard a guest say “is there fish in here as it smells fishy”. This could be an amazing place but not at the moment and needs a lot of work and staff to be acceptable as a hotel. The sunbeds are fabric and are not cleaned so you are sitting on beds that other people have lay on, they have to cover the beds at night to prevent the birds relieving themselves on them. I will say the staff are so lovely and pleasant and they were very apologetic.

This is a beautiful property. We had a wonderful sea view room that was very nicely decorated. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for a tranquil location. Breakfast was excellent and included in our rate.

These villas were incredible. The staff was so nice and accommodating. As a family of 4, these villas were perfect with the kitchen and dining area. Very spacious and conformable. We will be back!

We booked a week for our honeymoon and Masana Algarve exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The apartment provided all the amenities needed, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Within 10 minutes of arriving I fell down the second flight of stairs leading to the bedroom and sustained a nasty injury to my head, knee and hand. There was no handrail which could have prevented my fall. I reported my injury to the receptionist who gave me ice and the number of a taxi if I needed to go to a hospital. She said she would report my injury to the manager and my concern regarding a lack of handrail. I stayed 8 nights and no one from the company contacted me to see how I was or to investigate the accident. I subsequently found out that in July a guest had pointed out the lack of a handrail and that the stairs were dangerous and that the manager had confirmed that the issue had been addressed. This is not true and very misleading. We booked a room with a seaview and were given a room with a view of another apartment. The receptionist asked for proof we had booked a seaview which was somewhat insulting as all rooms on this site when we booked and anytime I have checked since are described as having sea views. We were transferred to a room at 7pm the following day which had a partial sea view. We were obviously very low priority. Towels were changed after two days and nothing thereafter and the bins were not emptied. We should not have to ask for basic service. As previous guest has pointed out the balconies are not safe for young children and in general the apartment is not safe until handrails are put in on all the stairs.

It was an incredible spot. I would stay and would recommend. Two negatives were communication around food/bar... We were told a few different times that they had a pool bar open, even when we checked in. Nonetheless it never was, and when we asked other stay they said "they did not know'. Ultimately, that did not matter as the location of rooms to the pool were extremely close. 2nd point was having a room cleaned every 3 days (we were there for 8 nights). We were happy with that and no complaints other than our rooms was only cleaned the first time after 3 days, never again. Honestly, we didn't care, just again, some poor communication, or false expectations. Realistically, I have recommended this hotel already to other friends, brought more family and we all would travel there again.

Lovely accommodation set in an outstanding peaceful location, villa was decorated and finished to a very high standard, pool area was very spacious with lots of room, all staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay, on site restaurant was lovely and relaxing with a nice sea view, always well looked after by Paulo and the rest of the team, breakfast was also lovely with lots of choice.

I went on a girls trip to Albufeira and we stayed at Masana Algarve. First of all, the property is absolutely stunning, so peaceful and relaxing. Our very modern villa included everything we needed and more and was beautifully decorated and clean - it felt like we were on a retreat. There are beautiful nature trails to the beach and amazing views from the grounds. The staff were exceptional! Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my girlfriend and me. Gave my long distance girlfriend and I a special charcuterie and bottle of wine since I told them I haven’t seen her in a long time. Great place for couples to stay with amazing location on the water in a cute town. There’s a nice supermarket near by to stock up the room with. Receptionist was amazing and made the stay some much more enjoyable. If you’re think about it or are hesitant trust me and stay here. Go on the sunset cruise out of albufeira harbor for a private barbecue on the beach and close up view of all the most famous caves.

Sehr schöne ruhig gelegene Anlage mit geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Schöner Pool und freundliches Personal. Wir sind mit zwei Teenagern gereist, die den etwas abenteuerlichen Weg zu den größeren Nachbarstränden entlang der Küste toll fanden. Die sehr touristische Altstadt von Albufeira ist ca 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, was wir uns allerdings nur einmal neugierdehalber angetan haben. Ansonsten haben wir die Hotelanlage und die nähere Umgebung genossen. Es gibt mehrere bodenständige Restaurants und einen kleinen Supermarkt und kleine Geschäfte wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Alles ganz entspannt dort. Kein großes Tamtam. Ich kann mir vorstellen wiederzukommen.

The resort was very nice and the staff were very friendly. The facilities are pretty new and in nice condition. Our stay was during the off-season so it was very quiet but well cared for. We enjoyed the walks on the beach and the close proximity to restaurants. We used this location as our central point for exploring the Algarve region. A beautiful part of the world … which we enjoyed very much! We would return here in the future.

What a beautiful resort! The morning breakfast was delicious with a lot of food (pastries, meat and cheese board, bowl of fruit plus you can order off their menu….omelette, pancake, avocado toast). The servers are very attentive and also quite entertaining. We looked forward to seeing them each and every morning. The restaurant for dinner is also quite good too. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool is quite large. Both the pool and breakfast area overlook the ocean. There are stairs leading down to a private beach that you can explore. No beach chairs buts the views and backdrop are well worth a trek down the stairs. Only negative was the parking. We rented a MG and it barely fit in the parking space. Most cars took up one and a quarter of another space. Not a big deal for us because the resort wasn’t full but it will be during the busy season.

We had the best holiday staying at Villa D'Agua Beachfront resort, from the moment we got into our apartment we were really impressed with the space. Beautiful interior with all the amenities needed, the most gorgeous decking area with sea view and pool view. The gardens and pool area were lovely, great swimming pool for children too. Very quiet and relaxing. Lots of lovely rockpools and caves to explore down on the front steps to the beach too. Reception staff were great in answering questions, the pool bar was unfortunately closed but next year they plan to have a bar and resturant area. Surrounding area was really lovely, two great beaches within a ten minute walk and so many great restaurants too. No need for car rental unless you want to explore surrounding areas. We did have a few days trips to Lagos and surrounding beaching with was great when the weather was overcast. A very relaxing holiday with plenty of lovely walks and places to eat. We will definitely be back!
We had the best holiday staying at Villa D'Agua Beachfront resort, from the moment we got into our apartment we were really impressed with the space. Beautiful interior with all the amenities needed, the most gorgeous decking area with sea view and pool view. The gardens and pool area were lovely, great swimming pool for children too. Very quiet and relaxing. Lots of lovely rockpools and caves to explore down on the front steps to the beach too. Reception staff were great in answering questions, the pool bar was unfortunately closed but next year they plan to have a bar and resturant area. Surrounding area was really lovely, two great beaches within a ten minute walk and so many great restaurants too. No need for car rental unless you want to explore surrounding areas. Lovely accommodation set in an outstanding peaceful location, villa was decorated and finished to a very high standard, pool area was very spacious with lots of room, all staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay, on site restaurant was lovely and relaxing with a nice sea view, always well looked after by Paulo and the rest of the team, breakfast was also lovely with lots of choice.

What a beautiful resort! The morning breakfast was delicious with a lot of food (pastries, meat and cheese board, bowl of fruit plus you can order off their menu….omelette, pancake, avocado toast). The servers are very attentive and also quite entertaining. We looked forward to seeing them each and every morning. The restaurant for dinner is also quite good too. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool is quite large. Both the pool and breakfast area overlook the ocean. There are stairs leading down to a private beach that you can explore. No beach chairs buts the views and backdrop are well worth a trek down the stairs. Only negative was the parking. We rented a MG and it barely fit in the parking space. Most cars took up one and a quarter of another space. Not a big deal for us because the resort wasn’t full but it will be during the busy season.

A wonderful place in the Algarve. Great food and wonderful service. Paulo and Margherita made it especially memorable. The grounds are well kept and it added to a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

We had such a wonderful stay at this brand-new hotel. From the moment we arrived, Antonio and Margarita welcomed us so kindly and patiently, making us feel right at home. What really stood out was how the whole team knew us by name, such a rare and personal touch that made our stay feel extra special. The property itself is stunning, modern, spotless, and right on a beautiful almost hidden stretch of beach. Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. It’s the perfect place to relax, whether by strolling around exploring the resort (I found a lovely spot on the cliff for yoga), or enjoying the pool. The food at the restaurant was excellent throughout our stay, and the service was just as memorable. Paolo in the bar and restaurant was outstanding, without doubt the best server I’ve ever had (and I’ve worked in hospitality myself). Attentive, genuine, and a real credit to the hotel. This hotel is a true gem, and we’re already planning to return for a longer stay. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape!

What a find the Hyatt Masana was. We’re just back from a family holiday and cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. Attention to deal began from check-in with a warm and friendly greeting including the delivery of our luggage to our room. The accommodation comprised a fully functioning kitchenette complete with washer/drier, dishwasher and other appliances allowing for in-house meals and snacks which was really useful. The food offering in the excellent Tupuc (special mention for Richard) made for a great Anniversary dinner on one of our nights. The more informal downstairs restaurant overlooking the pool made for a lovely vista and the staff overseen at breakfast by the delightful Elysa made for a special start to each date. In fact all the staff were so helpful and pleasant that it made our week long stay a really happy one. Definitely the Masana is one to recommend and should we pass this way again a repeat visit would be a must.

Spacious, clean, and peaceful stay We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The rooms and suites are very spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained throughout. As we rented an Electric car, having a reliable electric car charger on-site made our trip much easier. Pool & Beach: We always found available sun loungers, and the pool area never felt overcrowded, even if the water temperature was a little cold. The beach is a quick 5-minute walk down some steep steps, but was clean and sandy. Dining: We had breakfast every day and the occasional lunch at the restaurant. Breakfast is focused on table sharing (just your table not with others) and an à la carte menu (with cereals and yoghurts available buffet-style), which was very smooth and well-managed. Lunch had a much wider selection and was always peaceful. Facilities: Other than the pool, small gym, spa, restaurant, and beach, overall facilities are on the limited side. It suited our style of trip perfectly, though it might be something to consider if you prefer a full-service resort with constant activities.

Pros: the grounds of the property; pool, restaurant, lobby, gym, sunna and garden area are excellent and well maintained. The views from our unit and beach views are beautiful. The units are spacious, modern and has great amenities. The little beach was amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good to with good amount of options. Cons: the units are not well maintained and cleaned. The outside of unit and balcony were not cleaned on arrival or throughout the stay. Makes the space uninviting with dust , stains and bird droppings. The unit it self is not cleaned properly before arrival or throughout. The shower floor was dirty. And floors in general were dirty . As they would just run a wet mop through out the unit .there was also no bucket. They would carry the mop in a bag. After cleaning there were hair and crumbs. And toilet and counter surfaces were not wiped properly. Don’t think the unit was ever dusted. On arrival the main bedroom sheets and some towels were stained. When the manger was informed she was kind enough to offer complementary messages and offered a small discount for first night. But the issues remained unfortunately. With better house keeping this would be a four star.
