This property felt like a dream. The decor is chic without being overly modern. There is a perfect balance to the decor with an abundance of beautiful plants everywhere. The location is excellent - walking distance to the sea and close to the strip of restaurants, cafes, bars, mini golf, arcade, shops, grocery stores - everything you need. The staff is passionate about what they do and will do anything you need to help you. We went to town for dinner each night so didn’t have an opportunity to eat at the rooftop restaurant but the food at the sushi restaurant and pool restaurant were excellent. Great options for all - I am a vegetarian so always felt like I had options - even at breakfast. There is a beautiful vegetable garden on site and many herb bushes used for the food and drinks. The pool and poolside vibe was great for all and we always felt comfortable with our young kids playing and splashing sun bathers from time to time! No one seemed to mind. There are plenty of pool loungers and we always found a spot no matter what time we came down. The entire property was impeccably clean. The bedroom setup was the best we have yet experienced for a family of 4. Both of our boys had their own sofa beds in what felt like a separate room (without a wall) and a balcony and we had our own balcony also. The spa was excellent- a must visit for an extra touch of pampering! All in all - my family and I had the best vacation here and I would recommend it to anyone. A true gem!

Absolutely stunning hotel, with great design aesthetic. It\'s an oasis of calm in quite a hectic area. Lovely pool areas and the food at breakfast and dinner (we went half board) was delicious. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options in the evening. The gym was small, but adequate (had Smith and cable machines). The bed was on the small side, at 6\'4" / 193cm, I hung off the end but that was the only niggle!

Fantastic stay. We received an upgraded room upon arrival which was a really great start to our trip. The private pool at our room was secluded and lovely. The rooms are modern and have everything you needed. The gym was not the biggest but had everything you would need to train. The pools are all very nice and very clean and the food in the restaurant and at breakfast was absolutely fantastic everytime we ate there. We would definitely recommend this place

Fabulous hotel with excellent level of customer service. We went as 2 family of 4 ( teenagers and a 3 year old in the group) and the hotel was a great place to stay with kids pool and adult pool. Location was walking distance to lots of beaches and shops. We had the garden pool room which was a lot more money than the average room and was nice but perhaps we wouldn’t do that option again and choose a normal family suite as the pool room was a little on the small side for 4 people and Wardrobe space was tight. But that was the only thing we have to stay otherwise we really liked the hotel.

It’s a clean and beautiful hotel. You can park underneath the building, and there are shops nearby where you can buy drinks and other essentials. There are also plenty of restaurants around the hotel where you can eat. Sweet cats can be found both inside and around the hotel, which adds a lovely touch. A big thank you to the kind staff at the bar in the lobby, such warm-hearted and hardworking girls and guys. Truly appreciated! A few other staff members could really learn something from them.

We liked the hotel it had limited space as a whole and although there was parking it was a challenge to get in and out. Overall crowded and small hotel. Very clean but the pools were full of people with no space between areas felt very small as a whole. Would love something a bit more private next time

Buffet della colazione con ottima scelta sia di dolce sia di salato e personale di sala molto attento e premuroso. A noi è stata assegnata una camera con piscina semi-privata perfetta per un maggiore relax. Ottimo soggiorno!

Excellent hotel, probably the best on the island all round. We chose this hotel over others primarily because of location (close to food, beach and a port), and, among others of its class, this property looked the most modern with a clean bathroom. The photos honestly don’t do the hotel justice in terms of looks and comfort. There were two great swimming pools. We had a private pool too. We saw the hotel being cleaned thoroughly daily, from the pool to mopping the stone floors outdoors. Staff are amazing and so is the buffet breakfast every morning.

The hotel Contessina was fantastic place to stay. The hotel suites were beautiful and very comfortable accommodations. This hotel is in a great location were you can walk to many great restaurants and the beach is a 5 minute walk. This hotel had a few public pools as well as private pools with the suites. I look forward to visiting again.

Overall we had a fantastic stay at Hotel Contessina. The hotel has a very nice design with lovely pool areas. Our rooms were luxurious, spacious and were kept very clean. The staff is so friendly and helpful and very attentive to any complaints. The breakfast offers a lot of choices, both hot and cold. Our only small complaint is that we would have liked some more fresh juices. (The first days of our stay there were no fresh juices at all). Our room was located so that we could hear some noise from the nearby bars and restaurants at night, so if you are sensitive to sounds bring some earplugs. Also we noticed that there were not enough sunbeds, but as we went to the beach most days this was not really a problem for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Overall we had a fantastic stay at Hotel Contessina. The hotel has a very nice design with lovely pool areas. Our rooms were luxurious, spacious and were kept very clean. The staff is so friendly and helpful and very attentive to any complaints. The breakfast offers a lot of choices, both hot and cold. Our only small complaint is that we would have liked some more fresh juices. (The first days of our stay there were no fresh juices at all). Es zeigte zur Straßenseite, und obwohl Türen und Fenster geschlossen waren, konnte man alles von außen sowie aus dem Gang hören. Trotzdem waren wir im Allgemeinen zufrieden.

We had such an amazing time at Contessina celebrating our anniversary/my partners belated birthday. As soon as we arrived the staff were so lovely and welcoming – we were delighted to be given an upgraded room with a private pool this truly made our trip extra special and we were so grateful for that!! Overall the ambience of the hotel is sooo peaceful, from the well equipped gym, the gorgeous poolside bar and chill areas to the exquisite breakfast. This hotel is a must stay in Zakynthos! We wanted to say a special thanks to Christina at the bar who made the best cocktails and was truly a ray of sunshine to see every day! Our flight to Zakinthos from Athens had to return to Athens due to inclimate weather so we let the hotel know that we would not arrive until the next day. The hotel staff assured us that our rooms would be ready and waiting for us when we got there. Upon arrival, we were told the rooms would be freshened up before we received the key. We were told to go to the breakfast buffet and have a meal. After waiting over an hour for a “room refresh”, we realized that the rooms were most likely used by other customers who were to check out by 11:00 and that was why we had to wait. This means the hotel probably was double paid for our rooms for the night we missed. My daughter went to the front desk and complained and magically our rooms became “refreshed” within about 30 minutes. Just enough time to flip the rooms used that night by other hotel patrons! Not a good look!!!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful hotel! For our 25th anniversary, they surprised us with an upgrade from the standard Contessina Hotel to Contessina Suites and Spa and gave us a room with our own private pool, it was absolutely amazing. They also welcomed us with a bottle of wine and provided several great discounts throughout the hotel. The included breakfast was a highlight, with fresh-squeezed juices and a delicious spread I looked forward to every morning. But the best part? This property is lovely, in a perfect location, and the staff were lovely as was the breakfast. Certain parts of our stay were not so good, and when considering the cost to stay, the problems we encountered should have been dealt with quicker and more efficiently. The hotel Contessina was fantastic place to stay. The hotel suites were beautiful and very comfortable accommodations. This hotel is in a great location were you can walk to many great restaurants and the beach is a 5 minute walk. This hotel had a few public pools as well as private pools with the suites. I look forward to visiting again.

This is a fabulous property in terms of their amenities and staff. The rooms are modern, very clean and super comfortable (bed, linens, etc.). The staff is incredible, especially Maria from the front desk--who made so many arrangements for us--and always had a smile on her face. Our only disappointment, which is not the hotel's fault, is that the beach close by is not the greatest. We ended up driving to Kalamaki beach every day (30 minutes away). And while it's a matter of personal taste, the town of Tsilivi (where the property is located) is overcrowded and full of average or less restaurants. The only one we found more than worthy of eating at was "Halfway House," which was fantastic.

This property felt like a dream. The decor is chic without being overly modern. There is a perfect balance to the decor with an abundance of beautiful plants everywhere. The location is excellent - walking distance to the sea and close to the strip of restaurants, cafes, bars, mini golf, arcade, shops, grocery stores - everything you need. The staff is passionate about what they do and will do anything you need to help you. We went to town for dinner each night so didn’t have an opportunity to eat at the rooftop restaurant but the food at the sushi restaurant and pool restaurant were excellent. Great options for all - I am a vegetarian so always felt like I had options - even at breakfast. There is a beautiful vegetable garden on site and many herb bushes used for the food and drinks. The pool and poolside vibe was great for all and we always felt comfortable with our young kids playing and splashing sun bathers from time to time! No one seemed to mind. There are plenty of pool loungers and we always found a spot no matter what time we came down. The entire property was impeccably clean. The bedroom setup was the best we have yet experienced for a family of 4. Both of our boys had their own sofa beds in what felt like a separate room (without a wall) and a balcony and we had our own balcony also. The spa was excellent- a must visit for an extra touch of pampering! All in all - my family and I had the best vacation here and I would recommend it to anyone. A true gem!

Every terrace has luxuriant vegetation. The hotel is extremely clean. The rooms are comfortable, some of them have their own pool. The breakfast is with good variety and good quality of food. Only one minus: in the hotel’s website is written that dinner is buffet. But it is not. It is on set-menu, but with not enough options and not consistent with food allergies. The dinner is a little like in students canteen. But when we made a complaint, they restored the money for the dinner in our room’s bill, so we could order food and beverage. So my advice is book a room with breakfast only. Everything else was perfect!

Fantastic stay. We received an upgraded room upon arrival which was a really great start to our trip. The private pool at our room was secluded and lovely. The rooms are modern and have everything you needed. The gym was not the biggest but had everything you would need to train. The pools are all very nice and very clean and the food in the restaurant and at breakfast was absolutely fantastic everytime we ate there. We would definitely recommend this place

Our stay in the hotel exceeded all our expectations. Starting from a beautiful family room with private pool and little garden, great amenities, quality food, caring and friendly staff and one of the best kids clubs we have experienced! Our kids loved spending time there with great variety of activities and lovely staff! The only improvement we could mention is the Spa facilities - we lacked tranquility as the entrance is shared with the gym and can get a bit noisy. Overall very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it!

I absolutely love this hotel. It was amazing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to the swim out pool room upon arrival, it was such an lovely surprise. This hotel really made our trip so special and comfortable. Breakfast was great, had so many options. There’s even parking available for us when we rented a car. There lots within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone! We will definitely stay here again when we return.
