Not really what I was expecting for a lot of money a night. All golf cart travel is super annoying. Spa massage was ok but facility was mediocre at best. Steam room didn’t work , special shower only had 2/3 functions working. My pool suite had ants in the bathroom and bed. Not a lot but still, 750/night. Lastly the staff is mad weird. Super monotone, they hover around you at every meal and ask a million questions and try to break everything down. All in all 3/5. My Airbnb at Sall Suite was way better , wish we extended there longer.

We also requested a corkscrew and were told they couldn’t find one — surprising, considering the hotel has at least three restaurants on site. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel with a lot of charm, but based on our experience, it doesn’t quite meet the standard of a true 5-star property.

Flot udsigt, og pæne værelser. Vi havde egen pool, som desværre var temmelig kold, koldere end pools ved poolbaren. Den megen venlighed virkede desværre ofte ret påtaget. Ophold i sig selv er ret dyrt, så forventede mere end hvad vi fik, mad og drikke er vanvittig dyrt, ca dobb op af barer og restauranter i byen, til trods for at vi havde en Executive suite med egen pool, skulle vi betale hvis vi tog noget i minibaren på værelset. Hav god tid til morgenmaden, æg skal bestilles hos tjenerne og kan tage op til 1/2 time før man får det, ingen drikkevarer såsom vand, juice mv kan selv hentes ved buffeten, også kun via tjenerne som pisker rundt. Rengøring og transporten med deres vogne på hotellet fungerede rigtig godt. Pænt og nydeligt og stille sted, men den skyhøje pris for ophold synes vi ikke svarer til hvad man får.

This was our second time at Olea. We never go back to a place twice usually but first time round it was so good we could not resist. This time round they have made a few changes, some good, some not so. Plus points the Flo Bar / restaurant is now a la carte which is much nicer than the fine dining 7 course set menu. Down side the cocoon restaurant in the evening is now a set menu and the bar has totally lost its atmosphere. Last time we enjoyed a few lovely evenings on the cocktails at the bar, the vibe just isn't there any more. Room - on arrival we had someone else's luggage in our room, this was quickly rectified. We then realised our toilet did not work, again rectified quite quickly. Housekeeping our amazing and visit with fresh towels and fully clean your room every day. Room service take quite while and we found the food served is below par of the restaurants and also does not always match the wording on the menu, it feels slightly rushed together. We love the architecture and 'cool vibe' this hotel offers, but if you look closely the build quality is actually really quite rough around the edges. Staff go above and beyond and are very attentive, sometimes lacking personality as they so overly polite. Fist time round we had a sea view room with private pool, the view was obscured by greenery. This time we ask for a mainland view (with private pool) and these rooms are higher up and benefit from the most amazing views (same view as the flow bar

Premetto: avevo scritto alla struttura il giorno prima chiedendo loro la possibilità di un upgrade (dato che non ci avrei passato nemmeno la notte ma solo la giornata - esattamente 6 ore - in vista del mio volo la sera), ma non ho ricevuto risposta. Il giorno seguente ci presentiamo. La stanza da me prenotata era già una delle migliori ma alla signora che ci ha accolto abbiamo chiesto di nuovo la possibilità di avere un upgrade. La sua prima risposta è stata che potevamo a patto che spendessimo 160 euro in più (dei 630 euro che avevo già speso). Vista la mia espressione ha abbassato ad 80… a quel punto ho fatto intervenire Expedia. Essendo vip ho diritto a un upgrade gratuito se la stanza è disponibile. E così era. Ma nemmeno Expedia è riuscita a convincere la struttura. Dopo essermi molto arrabbiato hanno acconsentito all’upgrade. Ma oramai era troppo tardi e non ho più accettato. È una struttura squallida e che non sa nemmeno lontanamente cos’è l’hotelleria.Non vale il prezzo, il personale è scortese e kitsch, l’area manager è inesistente. Ho il ribrezzo al solo ripensarci. La stanza era rovinata, i cuscini messi al contrario, le finiture o sporche o squallide. Se volete un consiglio da una persona che ha viaggiato molto, evitate questo posto e andate a pernottare in un’altra struttura. Al manager che è venuto a scusarsi subito dopo in camera: lei è chiamato a formare il suo personale meglio. Il cliente e le sue esigenze sono le cose più importanti, se lo ricordi.
