The property is close to the beach and a short drive to restaurants, parking is good, the pool and surrounds were clean. The staff were very friendly. The block out curtains do not keep all the light out, the bedside lights could be used as street lights, the fridge was very noisy, very low water pressure, it is situated on the main road and next to a set of traffic lights, making road noise unacceptable. Some renovations have been done in the past but were not very well done and the front door was difficult to use due to a sticking latch.

I really enjoyed my 3 night stay. Lovely, clean room and well maintained grounds. I even went for a swim in the pool!! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the very friendly staff. And big thanks for sorting out my dvd player, that was much appreciated. :)

The property is in a great location with easy parking. I was running late on the day, and a call to check up on my arrival time was greatly appreciated. The upgrade and cleanliness were fantastic as well. Proximity to the shopping strip was also very practical arriving later in the evening. Next time I'm in the area and needing accommodation, the Bayview is a definite stay. Thank you :-)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was clean and very comfortable. Motel is on a corner of a busy road if you don't mind a bit of traffic noise. The pool was clean and lovely to swim in. If you have a room on the ground floor then the only drawback is you can't use the patio outside for security reasons. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The room was very clean and spacious. Mattress was ok, probably could do with a mattress topper. Overall an absolutely beautiful stay and walking distance to beach and short drives to other great locations.

The room was spotless and well maintained. We stayed 3 nights and fresh towels ,sugars teas etc were replaced every day. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We would happily stay there again.

Was disappointing after the third visit and we felt that the condition of the room was poor. Broken lamps , beds, burn marks on comforters and PowerPoint unsafe and handles missing from bedside tables. Carpet burnt as well. Pool was not accessible to everybody. And shower La are dangerous when flooding.

Capel sound beach was BEAUTIFUL, easy walk across the very busy intersection. Walls in room very thin, could hear next doors TV, talking & child crying until midnight & again at 4am (awful, not much sleep). TV needs an update & internet slow. Check in was friendly, easy by lovely lady.

We travelled to Dromana from regional NSW as this was central to a few engagements we had over the AFL Grand Final weekend. The motel was quite good and the only problem we had was that we couldn’t get any HD channels on the TV. The management and staff were terrific and although we could hear the traffic outside, it wasn’t a problem.

Over night stay. Pleasant greeting on arrival. Headed out for dinner. On return at 8:30 we were unable to heat the room. No instructions in room. We tried every possible setting but heater continued to blow cold air. On a freezing Melbourne winters night we finally requested assistance from office. Where we were made to feel very unwelcome as it was somehow our fault for not checking earlier in the day. This sour reception ruined our stay. Making us feel guilty for disturbing them. It was only 9 pm on a Friday night. Maybe next time they could supply their guests with some form of instruction and save themselves some grief.

I got the room key 10am and I trust but When I come back 10pm office already closed I booked two bed suit rooms but They gave one bedroom so very very unhappy One people sleep sofa Other people sleep ground Second day hotel gave two bedrooms

The staff were very helpful, especially as we booked last minute and arrived after checkout. It was very well priced for what you get and extremely clean. The only Complaint I had with the pillows were quite uncomfortable for me and the date was similar. You get some road noise so I would suggest taking earplugs to enable a better sleep other than that it was spotlessly cleaned, ample parking, very close to the heart of Rosebud and I would stay there again.

Great spot being camping down this way for over 20 years and driven passed it a lot, wanted a good spot for the night at a good price, this was the one, balcony view of water, neat and tidy, Staff at check in very helpful thanks guys
