Beautiful room with a jungle like campus. Unfortunately parking was very difficult and required employee assistance each time. Elevator was broken, clean swimming pools decent breakfast. Friendly staff at the front desk.

Lovely property to stay on. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious every morning. The pool and social area (Billiards, fooseball) was great for a chill day on-site. Posh boutique hotel. Two nice pools. Wonderful onsite restaurant. Plush bedding with weighted blankets. Nicely furnished. No early checkin offered, but plenty to do in the area.

Excellent hotel with great pool and beautiful garden. Need to drive 10 minutes to beach at Manuel Antonio and not really walkable. Good restaurants close to hotel and easy access to National Park.

The hotel was probably nice a decade or two ago but there has clearly even no upkeep. It looked really cute online but the grout is coming out of the tiles and it seemed to be in general disrepair. The elevator was broken (which looking at other past reviews it has been broken for months). The lady at check in was lovely. Breakfast was lukewarm so after taking one bite we didn’t eat it and stuck with bread and fruit. The staff in the restaurant didn’t clear tables so it was difficult finding a place to sit. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The room we got was next to pool, pool bar and entertainment room, and because of that was a VERY noisy room, not ideal for a relaxed weekend. Also the bed was not at all comfortable, too hard. The parking is also very limited. Personnel was very nice no complain on that. The food was also good.

Very nice hotel, clean and good rooms (a little bit dark) with super kind staff. Nature all over the hotel. Two nice pools and very good Soda in walking distance (Soda El Angel). Bus stop super near to the hotel to reach the Manuel Antonio Nationalpark and beaches. Breakfast was solid, but could have more variety

Our room was situated right beside the pool which was great for our 2 young boys. Parking was easy with lots of space. Rooms and common areas were clean. Area is walkable for food, coffee, supermarkets and souvenir shops. Short drive to Manuel Antonio park and beaches. Would definitely stay again!

The property grounds were beautiful on the outside. The room itself had a terribly strong mildew smell and was very basic. The bedding also had a strong odor. The shower was difficult to turn on and off and water sprayed onto the bathroom floor. The staff upon arrival was rude and visibly irritated that I arrived so late due to my delayed flight and long drive from the airport. He rushed my partner and called within 15 minutes of settling into my room to tell me he needed to move his car since the car wasn’t going to be there overnight. The in and out restrictions are understably for safety but made it complicated. Other than that the breakfast buffet was nice and the pool area was beautiful. I would not however stay there again.

The hotel was fine…everything was as the pictures and staff were great. The room: it was a little smaller than what we expected but not a real issue. It seemed clean but we found 2 cockroaches. The place: We knew the property was in front of the main road but did not expect it to be as noisy as it was. If you are a light sleeper, maybe this is not the best place to stay. The garage: Finally, we saw as a great plus that the place had its own gated parking, but when we arrived, someone was blocking the entrance. Not only that, the garage is more of a creepy event room that is being used as parking. It has several columns inside which makes it hard to maneuver.

The room had a smell of mould and dampness that hard to tolerate even with scented candles . Everything looked old and in need to a deep clean. The staff was average and the breakfast was fairly good. The location is convenient and the price is almost fair for what you get. If you are looking for a base to sleep and a good breakfast , then it is fine . I will not stay again in this hotel .

Hotel Villas Lirio was wonderful! Easy parking. Extremely friendly staff. Very clean rooms, well maintained outside areas and clean pool. We saw a monkey and iguana on the property too. Breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing! Great bathrooms with plenty of fresh towels and hot water. We will definitely return on our next visit to Manuel Antonio!

The hotel was ok. Some rooms much better than others. We booked 2 rooms. 1 was on the ground floor and had 1 pool only accessible to the 4 rooms facing it. Great for them. The other was on the 3rd floor. There was no elevator. Permanently out of order. So much that the garbage can are placed in front of the door. Our safe didn’t work. When we asked, a man came with batteries pretending to fix it, but he knew full well it was broken. We asked to move to the first floor to be closer to oir family and they said we couldn’t, they were completely full. When we noticed that was a complete lie as there were numerous rooms empty, the man at the front desk bluntly said no because it was too much trouble for them? We said we can move our stuff ourselves, he said no. We asked what about customer sevice and the customer is always right, he replied, I completely disagree with that statement. Both rooms were very dark with any window. We go to Manuel Antonio once per year and will definitely avoid this hotel from now on. Pales in comparison to Costa Verde.

Nicely maintained, good housekeeping, nice pool and pool area. The only complaints I would make are that the rooms were hot (no AC and ceiling fans that didn’t circulate air well) and that the dining room staff wasn’t super on point. But overall, good stay.

Beautiful room that over looked a pool on one side and a tropical garden in the other side. No ocean views, but the pool was wonderful to cool off after all our excursions. The seating area was covered and we sat out there when it rained and it was lovely.

We really enjoyed the hotel!! Our room was fantastic. Roomy and a great air conditioner. We ate at the restaurant every night we were there. Food was fantastic and the staff excellent! I would totally recommend this hotel!!!

So glad I found this gem. Every staff person was very friendly, helpful and good energy. The pool had a chill and private vibe. Room had GREAT A/C! Perfectly located in the middle of the main road so walking distance to restaurants but I would recommend a car or shuttle to the beach as it would be a steep uphill climb back.

We said we can move our stuff ourselves, he said no. We asked what about customer sevice and the customer is always right, he replied, I completely disagree with that statement. Both rooms were very dark with any window. We go to Manuel Antonio once per year and will definitely avoid this hotel from now on. Pales in comparison to Costa Verde.

My room did not have a key only lock was through the sliding door entrance which did not work well, it was very difficult to lock. When I asked for a change of room they were rude and just told me they were all booked which was not the case. Staff was very unhelpful. Bad service for the price.

1st time visiting Costa Rica and we came for my best friends 34th birthday. We had an amazing time. The amazing front desk staff was very helpful from the time of check in to the time of check out. Dolores and Will that work the hotel bar and restaurant have the best customer service and were both very nice and helpful with places to explore. I look forward to staying at Villas Lirio next time I’m in Costa Rica.

Everything was perfect! The staff were Amazing. The place was spotless and everyone was so kind and friendly. Our dinner both nights was FANTASTIC!!! We ordered the filet mignon one night and the mango chicken the next night. The chef DID THAT!!! 👏 The room was so beautiful. I really wanted to take the comforter home with me because it was so gorgeous and it helped me sleep like a baby. My daughter and I loved our stay and we highly recommend this beautiful place!

So glad I found this gem. Every staff person was very friendly, helpful and good energy. The pool had a chill and private vibe. Room had GREAT A/C! Perfectly located in the middle of the main road so walking distance to restaurants but I would recommend a car or shuttle to the beach as it would be a steep uphill climb back.

Great stay. Beautiful landscape/garden and very friendly service. Relatively quiet and calm. No major „attractions“ nearby, but various restaurants and small shops along the street. Everything else requires a car, Uber, or a <$1 bus ride which was very convenient.

Our room was situated right beside the pool which was great for our 2 young boys. Parking was easy with lots of space. Rooms and common areas were clean. Area is walkable for food, coffee, supermarkets and souvenir shops. Short drive to Manuel Antonio park and beaches. Would definitely stay again!

The pool at the property is really nice. The rooms are a little dated but nice overall. The staff were great, and the location is good for getting around the area. There are great restaurants in both directions. The bus stops right outside the hotel but lots of places are wakable as well.

Lovely property to stay on. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious every morning. The pool and social area (Billiards, fooseball) was great for a chill day on-site. The hotel was probably nice a decade or two ago but there has clearly even no upkeep. It looked really cute online but the grout is coming out of the tiles and it seemed to be in general disrepair. The elevator was broken (which looking at other past reviews it has been broken for months). The lady at check in was lovely. Breakfast was lukewarm so after taking one bite we didn’t eat it and stuck with bread and fruit. The staff in the restaurant didn’t clear tables so it was difficult finding a place to sit. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel - walkways through lush gardens… My room was spacious and comfortable, decorated with stunning paintings. The swimming pool was gorgeous. My only complaint was that the restaurant team played loud music for most of the day, which, due to the position of the speakers, could be heard everywhere - in my room - by the pool etc.. This interrupted my peace and relaxation. I politely spoke to the staff and manager, so I hope that this will be sorted out. A playlist with chill out music at a sensible volume would be far more suitable.

We really enjoyed the hotel!! Our room was fantastic. Roomy and a great air conditioner. We ate at the restaurant every night we were there. Food was fantastic and the staff excellent! I would totally recommend this hotel!!!

Excellent location. It’s situated in between Manuel Antonio national park and the town Quepos. There’s a food hall called Merkadeto. Lots of food selections and there’s a live acoustic music and dancing on Tuesday night. The villa is well maintained with a nice pool. Highly recommended.
