There is no swimming pool access! We booked this because of the pool but the outdoor one was closed and the indoor one is not run by the hotel. Our room was also right next to a building site so was very noisy. We were not warned about this

Clean property. Rooms have good space. Breakfast was wonderful although some waitstaff gets anxious and snappy at the busiest time around 9. Pool is small and gets over crowded, ppl literally start reserving chairs at 0730 which is ridiculous. App says gym is open 24/7 but not true. Front desk will tell you it opens at 0700 and both times I went, I had to get them to open (after 0700). Location is perfect and safe. Nice little bars around.

Road Works out front of Hotel. Cannot get to front of hotel. Could not unload suitcases. Hotel has No Porters , no Concierge . It is NOT 4 Star hotel. The front entrance looks good but the bedrooms are 2 star, cheap furniture sadly cheap stuff. Parking Garage is a disaster to find in the backstreets under another building. Badly lit and no signage. You have find the lowest level and walk up- lifts are not operating then go through passageways to the hotel.

Hotel was fantastic, a short taxi ride or 30 min walk to the centre. Breakfast was a wide range of options, although I probably wouldn’t do half board again as the evening meal menu was quite limited. Whilst the food was good, across 3 nights I had the same meal twice due to the reduced options for half board guests. Pool area was great except the life guard was more interested in reserved beds than saving lives. I had put our towels out and then went to sit at the poolside lunch area and the lifeguard removed our towels because we hadn’t left any personal belongings in them. I could understand if we had reserved them and left the hotel but we were sat a few yards away in the eating area! The back street mentioned in other reviews for noise, wasn’t too bad but there are a number of bars/clubs lining the back street so could be seasonal? Although the maids were vacuuming outside the door every day pre 9am which I think is not acceptable when people are on holiday resting. Would definitely use the hotel again

Wir haben uns Privatsphäre gewünscht und daher dieses Hotel mit der Level-Option sowie Sonnenterrasse gebucht. Man liegt direkt mit freiem Blick zwischen Zimmernachbarn, somit von Privatsphäre weit entfernt. Auch die kilometerlange Baustelle vor der Tür lässt die Hafenpromenade nicht in ihrem eigentlichen Flaire erscheinen. Zu viele geschlossene Lokale... Insgesamt bietet das Hotel ca. 350 Zimmer, wodurch der Poolbereich mit den zur Verfügung stehenden Liegen schnell bzw. sehr früh ausgelastet war. Auch das Frühstück im Level-Bereich lässt noch viele Wünsche offen, so dass man weitaus besser, sprich ausgewogener und mit mehr Vielfalt im normalen Bereich Frühstücken kann. Positiv hingegen, dass man im Level-Bereich bis 23 Uhr unbegrenzt Getränke und Snacks angeboten bekommt und auch das Personal im dortigen Bereich sich überaus hilfsbereit, total freundlich und zuvorkommend gezeigt hat. Allerdings rechtfertigt das nicht den Preis, den wir für diesen Urlaub gezahlt haben.

A lot of construction going on in the area, the rooms look cheaply updated, and it was noisy at nights. The rooms are NOT soundproof recommend eat plugs. The rooms weren’t the cleanliness the first time the cleaners came through there was a pair of underwear found and put on the bed that were not ours. Which is disgusting. Wasn’t a terrible stay but not worth the price.

Ok, wir hatten nur die einfachen Zimmer, dennoch hatte ich von MELIA einen besseren Standard erwartet. Die Zimmer waren zumindest sauber und es gab jeden Tag frische Handtücher.

Beautiful clean hotel with spacious rooms, big beds, great showers and friendly staff. Rituals bathroom products- how special ! Lovely views over the marina and a pool with lots of sunbeds. We were spoiled for choice at breakfast. It filled us for a good part of the day. We like to walk so walking to the cathedral and old town etc for dinner and sights was lovely. Bike hire close by is recommended. Great day out. Soller train and tram recommended. The reception ordered us taxis when required. Much cheaper than uber. Staff were so friendly and we were lucky to be allowed a late checkout. Take earplugs for sleeping unless you are out nightclubbing and don’t need them. Fantastic hotel.

The hotel facilities, cleanliness and staff were excellent. The view from the front of the port is outstanding. Although there are extensive roadworks along the front, the spuds are shielded by the elevation of the hotel above ground level.

Being that we booked this hotel for our wedding weekend, it was extremely disappointing that we booked a premium room just to check in and find the main floor was dirty and extremely dusty, old garbage was still left in the room, the shower was dirty and had soap scum marks, and though I appreciate the gesture of champagne, the glasses they served were dirty.

If I was to rate the location, i would give it a 5. As and overall is a 3. Main reason is that rooms need MAJOR updating. The corridors are dark. Depending on what floor you are on, it can feel like you are in a dungeon. As a first time visitor, it's hard to find the parking lot. The directions given by the front desk, was cofusing. I drove around for 15 minutes before I called for help. Maybe the hotel should offer valet service or even bell service. Hotel has lots of potential but needs major investment to make itn a 5.

Beds were not very comfortable, room smelt like the bathroom. Heating and Air conditioning run separately and switched by management. Arrived on a hot day in beginning of April and asked to ensure the room had air conditioning. The associate said the air conditioning is not on, still in heat mode, and maybe the air conditioning would be available the next day, but they were unsure. The team did procure a fan for the room to help mitigate the issue. But be weary the air conditioning does not work year round, and is seasonal like the pool.

Enjoyed a lovely 4 nights here with friends last week. A couple of issues with the sliding doors not locking in one of the rooms when we arrived and the air con not working in another, but both were resolved quickly. Common areas of the hotel are beautiful, with plenty of room around the pool even at the height of the season. The rooms themselves are a little dated, with some plug sockets not working. Bathrooms are not private at all! We hesitated before booking here because of that but thought they can’t be that bad, but they are, it would likely put me off staying again. One bed was more or less up against the glass partition to the shower area, with a voile curtain covering the shower (from the outside!)

Nice hotel overlooking Palma Marina. My sea-view room had a spectacular view across the bay to the Cathedral with stunning sunrises. The breakfast buffet was extensive and good quality. The service was ok, but too formal, especially at reception. The one exception was the barman, Eduardo I think his name was, for whom nothing was too much trouble and managed to make you feel special. The rooms themselves are ok, but showing their age and the mattress on my bed was very uncomfortable - very firm, with the springs poking through. Overall a pleasant stay but not quite up to the standard I was expecting.

Great location (20 minute safe walk into the center), large food portions for lunch and lovely outdoor pool. Service a little slow at the pool bar but apart from that great service from the front desk etc. We are looking to come back next year as we had a great first experience saying here and first experience with the Melia brand. We will be recommending this to friends and family.

The staff were very unhelpful. Check in took over and hour due to short staffing. We had to wait over an hour for lunch. They forgot our order and then had to reissue it. The staff were rude and surly. Air conditioning in our room didn’t work on the first night. Couldn’t gain entry to the poll due to the sheer number of people in it and a massive volleyball game taking place. Really not the level of service expected from a Melia hotel. Especially at the Level standard.

Nice Hotel - wrong time to visit. There is lots of work going on to improve the promenade so access is a challenge and many local businesses are shut. We had issues with the initial room allocation but these were swiftly resolved. We also had a poor experience with one meal which was undercooked, returned, they reheated it & tried to return it! We escalated this and food & drinks were eventually fully refunded. Overall though, a nice hotel and once Palma front is completed, I'm sure it'll be a great place to stay.

Ich hatte Melia Palma Marina gebucht um eine schöne Sicht und etwas Ruhe zu haben, stattdessen ich fand eine riesige Baustelle vor dem Hotel und auch um dem Hotel. Meine Zimmer schaute direkt auf die verschieden Baustellen, die schon um 7.00 Uhr morgens begann zu Arbeit. Ich würde nicht normal in Melia Palma Marina übernachten wollen. Schade.

The city of Palma is redoing the street in front of the hotel and there is no signage as to how you access the property. Not very good signage oe There is a disco right below on the ground floor that goes until 6 in the morning.

We stayed at the hotel for five days and enjoyed every moment. The staff were happy and friendly. The food (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks) were of a high standard. I would definitely recommend upgrading to the Level - its well worth it!
