Nach der Renovierung ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr zentral zu den Geschäften und Restaurants. Gutes Essen, Freundlicher Service. Zimmerwunsch wurde erfüllt. Direkt am Strand. Leider ist die Dachterrasse noch nicht geöffnet.

L'hotel té tot el que esperes d'un cinc estrelles, instal·lacions cuidades, personal professional i encantador, compte amb tots els detalls i habitacions d'acord amb la categoria. Great location right next door to Faro (lighthouse). Internal decor is elegant. Has good pool facilities & beach just across foot path. Room was impeccably presented. Staff very friend & attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. One downside is parking (if you’ve hired a car), it quite pricey but we managed to park a block away on street side.

What tells me most about a hotel is not that everything is perfect, but that the staff try to do the best for their guests. Hotel Faro is this kind of hotel. Best things about hotel: 1. Location more or less on the beach and completely refurnished hotel. 2. Staff. Polite and service minded 3. Breakfast buffet really good Things for improvement 1. Even though breakfast buffet was fantastic, the food from kitchen was really bad. Simple dishes like Pasta, Hamburger and Omeletts was simply not eatable and to twice the price of 2. A mistake so many hotels make with these big hotel pillows. They are not made for sleeping on so please add a smaller pillow for sleeping or we get our necks out of order. 3. Hotel roof pool was not open and no information given why. All the 3 smaller negatives should be fixable for next stay

Fint designhotell med bra läge och vacker utsikt mot havet. Mycket bra frukost & städning. Lugnt, lite äldre klientel, blandade Européer. Service minded personal men inte fantastisk på engelska. Fin pool, den utlovade nya takpoolen med bar var dock ej färdig & gymmet var under all kritik.

This is not a five star property. The room interiors give the five star atmosphere. Plenty of wardrobe space and clever arrangement of coffee/tea facilities. But the rest of the hotel is four maybe three stars. At breakfast which you can choose the menu alongside buffet. Expect random things like no avocado. The staff are so busy turning tables for dinner you’ll be lucky if you get acknowledged. Same at dinner but in reverse. The pool is okay but don’t expect service as it isn’t fully staffed and there’s no call bell. The bar again depends when you visit I stayed an hour and didn’t see one server. The Sky bar seems to have no attendees which is strange. One highlight was getting breakfast delivered to my room. That service was exemplary. The location has great shopping to suit any budget and loads of nightlife and plenty of restaurant options. The bus and taxi stop are within reach making it easy to reach and explore the island.

I love Gran Canaria and visit twice a year. This the second time I have stayed at Lopesan Faro. The hotel itself is beautiful and adults only. The location on the beach with incredible views to the ocean and across the famous dunes is second to none. As are the facilities in hotel with the best breakfasts anywhere plus a wonderful, heated pool with the most comfortable loungers. The rooms are great except the first floor overlooking the dunes and the Dunas hotel on the back of the building. This gets noise from the aircon units and the rear service access road which woke us up at 5am with bins being emptied so we moved to another room. The lobby bar has incredible views across the pool and out to the ocean. The location in Meloneras is great. There is wonderful shopping plus a myriad of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. I love Cafe del Mar for the Friday and Saturday night dining and cabaret shows, Pitos y Flautas for sunny lunches overlooking the ocean and Grand d'Italia for late dinners. All of these plus retail therapy - check out Mo's Fashions - are a 1 to 5 minute walk along the promenade. There is aso a very handy taxi rank opposite the hotel for trips to Yumbo, Playa del Ingles or to take you to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel and I have already booked to return next year.

Es un hotel estupendo, muy moderno. Tiene amplias habitaciones. La cama es muy cómoda, la ducha estupenda, el desayuno inmejorable, con una extensa oferta de productos. Y el personal muy amable. Tiene acceso directo a la playa desde la piscina. Y las hamacas de la piscina son comodísimas. En fin, es un hotel de 10.

This hotel is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The location is perfect, the views are amazing, the decor is stunning and the service is fantastic. Although the evenings were cool in February, we could still enjoy drinks (excellent cocktails) on the patio which had the most fantastic sunset views. Sleeping with the balcony door open was perfect, with the wonderful sound of crashing waves. The views from the breakfast room (whether you sit indoors or outdoors) are amazing and you can watch the morning surfers. Breakfast was great with an a la carte and buffet combination. It was also wonderful to have Nespresso machines at breakfast, together with all types of 'milks'. The pool area is immaculate and the loungers are incredibly comfortable with very thick mattresses. The rooms are stylishly decorated and a different treat is provided every day (together with bottles of water). The cleaning standards in the rooms (and throughout the hotel) are incredibly high. I never noticed anything that did not seem to be immaculate. The only thing to be aware of is that the bathrooms are open (with separate toilet/shower areas) so it may not be the best place to stay if you require privacy from a roommate! The staff are so pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would happily return.

Stunning Hotel. Booked this Hotel stay for 3 nights. A Wednesday to Saturday booking. Had a sea view. Stayed alone. Staff all very professional and courteous, displaying very good customer service skills. Rooms are fantastic and very nice decor , nicely done. Attention to detail is fantastic. Only one cleanliness issue with bed sheets/duvet cover but this is an oversight that shouldn’t have happened but didn’t ruin stay, would be unfair to let it. Hotel is fantastic and luxurious 👍

Although the evenings were cool in February, we could still enjoy drinks (excellent cocktails) on the patio which had the most fantastic sunset views. Sleeping with the balcony door open was perfect, with the wonderful sound of crashing waves. The views from the breakfast room (whether you sit indoors or outdoors) are amazing and you can watch the morning surfers. Breakfast was great with an a la carte and buffet combination. It was also wonderful to have Nespresso machines at breakfast, together with all types of 'milks'. The pool area is immaculate and the loungers are incredibly comfortable with very thick mattresses. Great location right next door to Faro (lighthouse). Internal decor is elegant. Has good pool facilities & beach just across foot path. Room was impeccably presented. Staff very friend & attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. One downside is parking (if you’ve hired a car), it quite pricey but we managed to park a block away on street side.

Stunning Hotel. Booked this Hotel stay for 3 nights. A Wednesday to Saturday booking. Had a sea view. Stayed alone. Staff all very professional and courteous, displaying very good customer service skills. Rooms are fantastic and very nice decor , nicely done. Attention to detail is fantastic. Only one cleanliness issue with bed sheets/duvet cover but this is an oversight that shouldn’t have happened but didn’t ruin stay, would be unfair to let it. Hotel is fantastic and luxurious 👍

The Room although narrow had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel arranged for a different pillow option. The location is excellent with many restaurants nearby. We found the dinner in the hotel expensive for what was offered (although the accompanying salad bar is excellent.) Staff very attentive.

I love Gran Canaria and visit twice a year. This the second time I have stayed at Lopesan Faro. The hotel itself is beautiful and adults only. The location on the beach with incredible views to the ocean and across the famous dunes is second to none. As are the facilities in hotel with the best breakfasts anywhere plus a wonderful, heated pool with the most comfortable loungers. The rooms are great except the first floor overlooking the dunes and the Dunas hotel on the back of the building. This gets noise from the aircon units and the rear service access road which woke us up at 5am with bins being emptied so we moved to another room. The lobby bar has incredible views across the pool and out to the ocean. The location in Meloneras is great. There is wonderful shopping plus a myriad of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. I love Cafe del Mar for the Friday and Saturday night dining and cabaret shows, Pitos y Flautas for sunny lunches overlooking the ocean and Grand d'Italia for late dinners. All of these plus retail therapy - check out Mo's Fashions - are a 1 to 5 minute walk along the promenade. There is aso a very handy taxi rank opposite the hotel for trips to Yumbo, Playa del Ingles or to take you to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel and I have already booked to return next year.

Der Gästemanager ist frech, unhöflich und hat uns 21 Uhr aus dem Hotel Restaurant rausgeschmissen !! Wir müssen in die Hotelhalle gehen. Da war laute Musik und da wollten wir nicht hin. Ansonsten im Hotel alles schwarz, Kleines Waschbecken direkt im Zimmer, unmöglich, kein Badezimmer. Wir gehen in ein anderes Hotel!!! Sehr traurig, es war so ein schönes Hotel, der Architekt hat keine Ahnung was Gäste möchten. Ruftopbar immer laute Musik Sehr sehr schade. Nicht zu empfehlen

This hotel is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The location is perfect, the views are amazing, the decor is stunning and the service is fantastic. Although the evenings were cool in February, we could still enjoy drinks (excellent cocktails) on the patio which had the most fantastic sunset views. Sleeping with the balcony door open was perfect, with the wonderful sound of crashing waves. The views from the breakfast room (whether you sit indoors or outdoors) are amazing and you can watch the morning surfers. Breakfast was great with an a la carte and buffet combination. Generally, it was a lovely hotel. It's been very recently renovated, so everything was clean and fresh. The room was modern, breakfast was lovely and the staff were generally very helpful. Unfortunately though, I found it quite hard to actually relax in this hotel due to noise and interruptions. It seemed like there was a different staff member to clean the room, another to check the mini-bar, another to change towels, another to offer you a chocolate, another to do the turn down... This was the case for each of our group, and the Do Not Disturb sign was not always respected. As well as this (ignoring the club on the roof) the music at the bar, restaurant and pool deck (while pleasant) were just too loud to be able to enjoy. It was especially hard to relax on a sun lounger at the pool when someone was literally blowing a saxophone a few metres away from you. I feel like this hotel has great potential - it just needs to tone down the noise and let people relax - then it would be a 10/10.

This is not a five star property. The room interiors give the five star atmosphere. Plenty of wardrobe space and clever arrangement of coffee/tea facilities. But the rest of the hotel is four maybe three stars. At breakfast which you can choose the menu alongside buffet. Expect random things like no avocado. The staff are so busy turning tables for dinner you’ll be lucky if you get acknowledged. Same at dinner but in reverse. The pool is okay but don’t expect service as it isn’t fully staffed and there’s no call bell. The bar again depends when you visit I stayed an hour and didn’t see one server. The Sky bar seems to have no attendees which is strange. One highlight was getting breakfast delivered to my room. That service was exemplary. The location has great shopping to suit any budget and loads of nightlife and plenty of restaurant options. The bus and taxi stop are within reach making it easy to reach and explore the island.

Was a good venue, apart from a raw boiled egg and being charged for food twice that we didn’t have because they charged drinks from restaurant not bar and that automatically means you had food too!!! Not helpful which spoilt the whole stay and won’t be going back.

This hotel is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The location is perfect, the views are amazing, the decor is stunning and the service is fantastic. Although the evenings were cool in February, we could still enjoy drinks (excellent cocktails) on the patio which had the most fantastic sunset views. Sleeping with the balcony door open was perfect, with the wonderful sound of crashing waves. The views from the breakfast room (whether you sit indoors or outdoors) are amazing and you can watch the morning surfers. Breakfast was great with an a la carte and buffet combination. It was also wonderful to have Nespresso machines at breakfast, together with all types of 'milks'. The pool area is immaculate and the loungers are incredibly comfortable with very thick mattresses. The rooms are stylishly decorated and a different treat is provided every day (together with bottles of water). The cleaning standards in the rooms (and throughout the hotel) are incredibly high. I never noticed anything that did not seem to be immaculate. The only thing to be aware of is that the bathrooms are open (with separate toilet/shower areas) so it may not be the best place to stay if you require privacy from a roommate! The staff are so pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would happily return.

This is our third visit and now wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Maspalomas. The location is ideal and the service is fantastic. Staff cannot do enough for guests. The quality of the breakfast is excellent. I can’t comment on dinner because we go out, but the pool service is very good daytime. All in all great experience at this low key 5* gem

What tells me most about a hotel is not that everything is perfect, but that the staff try to do the best for their guests. Hotel Faro is this kind of hotel. Best things about hotel: 1. Location more or less on the beach and completely refurnished hotel. 2. Staff. Polite and service minded 3. Breakfast buffet really good Things for improvement 1. Even though breakfast buffet was fantastic, the food from kitchen was really bad. Simple dishes like Pasta, Hamburger and Omeletts was simply not eatable and to twice the price of 2. A mistake so many hotels make with these big hotel pillows. They are not made for sleeping on so please add a smaller pillow for sleeping or we get our necks out of order. 3. Hotel roof pool was not open and no information given why. All the 3 smaller negatives should be fixable for next stay

The Room although narrow had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel arranged for a different pillow option. The location is excellent with many restaurants nearby. We found the dinner in the hotel expensive for what was offered (although the accompanying salad bar is excellent.) Staff very attentive.

Was a good venue, apart from a raw boiled egg and being charged for food twice that we didn’t have because they charged drinks from restaurant not bar and that automatically means you had food too!!! Not helpful which spoilt the whole stay and won’t be going back.

The hotel room is nice, cosy and modern. Bed was a little firm for my taste, but maybe that’s just me. Pool area was nice with comfortable sun loungers (though very tightly packed in). My issue comes mainly with the food. The hotel on a half board basis was advertised as breakfast and dinner buffet. When we got there we discovered that the dinner buffet is just salad and cheese, and everything else is off the menu. And while the food on the menu was beautifully presented and mostly very tasty, I have very specific dietary so a buffet would have been much better and I feel I was mis-sold. In addition to this, every single time I ordered something from the menu for dinner, a completely different iteration of it came out. The wait staff seemed to be heavily laboured by some new iPad system that is drawing so much of their attention that the basics just fell apart. We often had meals brought to us before plates have been cleared, we’d only get one of the drinks, the staff were expected to balance a tray of drinks and a tray of bread all at once just for the theatre of giving you an ice cube, which didn’t really add to the premium feel of the dining experience, it just made the staff look overworked and thinly spread. The breakfast buffet was quite nice, but there seems to be a serious issue with the ability to cook eggs! I wouldn’t stay here again tbh

Nice 5 star hotell and amazing staff from ground to rooftopf. Only what I did not like was the beach, no depness and full of stones, not possible to swim. All 3 pools was too warm and also missing some depness. On that the DJ on rooftop was terrible, playing electro/hammering/ drilling sounds not realising that people just lie on beds and need some loungemusic. I have never seen such a bad DJ not adopting to the people at all.

This place was absolutely beautiful. Two men were outside to greet us at this location as well as assist with bags. The staff was very friendly and assisted us at every step of the way including airport taxi. Everything felt luxurious. The people were amazing. It was unfortunate we only stayed a day but I cannot wait to visit again.

Location: Ideal location, close to shops, restaurants, beach. Hotel: Very nice adults only hotel that offers great service and views. Staff: Great staff who were helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast staff were a delight. Room: Had a partial sea view room which was great. Clean and quiet.
