Super Hotel, perfekte Lage, gutes Essen und hervorragender Service. Einziger Mangel 90% der Liegen am Pool sind um 9 Uhr bereits reserviert obschon bis 13 Uhr niemand da liegt. Deutsches Phänomen!

Sehr gutes Hotel, perfekte Lage zum Strand und super Essen. Einzig störend sind die bereits um 8:30 zu 90% belegten und reservierten Liegestühlen am Pool. Seit Jahren wird dies bemängelt und nan reagiert überhaupt nicht, schade. Das Faro Hotel verbietet Reservation von Liegestühlen und entfernt Tücher innerhalb 15 Minuten. Es ist also schon möglich wenn man das will.

I have stayed here three times in three years. Without doubt the best food in a hotel in the area. In fact probably the best continually top quality food I’ve ever had in any hotel (and really most restaurants all over the world). It is a joy to have dinner. Breakfast is wonderful too. The pools are heated to 28 degrees and all 3/4 are lovely. Staff enjoy their jobs. Service is perfect. It is a quiet, top class hotel with gardens and tranquility. Nothing else like it in the area.

Es war wieder wunderschön und es gibt nur Kleinigkeiten zu bemängeln. Dazu zählt, im Bad keine Dusche, sondern Badewanne und die vorhandenen Möbel waren äußerlich etwas beschädigt. Sehr hervorzuheben ist die hohe Qualität der Speisen, die Freundlichkeit jedes einzelnen Mitarbeiters, sehr persönliche Atmosphäre und super gepflegte Außenanlagen, alles für einen erholsamen Urlaub vorhanden. Und die Ruhe in den Zimmern ist fantastisch, keine Geräusche von benachbarten Zimmern.

Our last stay could not meet all of our expectations considering the pricing and standard of this hotel. Therefore, we decided to rather not return again. Please see below a list of positive and negative observations during our stays: food served was tasty staff were very friendly overall bathrooms in good condition hotel pools and garden are real highlights - some staff seem to lack service orientation and seemed a little too unmotivated in their roles - pigeons are lovely animals and a symbol of peace - however, observing daily and frequent fights of up to 5 pigeons on different breakfast tables around us was too much. Removing all leftover foods as soon as guests have left and not only after breakfast is closed would help a lot to prevent this sort of entertainment. - one night we found a cockroach in our room. Reporting this at the reception we were told the cockroach was removed from the room - when we returned it was still there, happy and healthy, so this statement was a lie. Our impression was that staff did not take our issue seriously. The next day we found a dead cockroach in the corridor which remained there until our departure 2 days later.

An amazing in hotel right be the beach, just a two minute walk across a very quiet residential street to the the national park and dunes of Maspalomas. The pool and gardens resemble an oasis with all the canary palms around and the neighbouring property adding to the illusion of endless palms. The room was excellent, clean and well maintained as well as quiet. Water was offered daily and a chocolate before bed time. The up-price for halfboard was well worth the reasonable additional cost as the food is of excellent quality with a 4 course meal 4 nights and excellent BBQs the 3 other nights with everything that your heart desires.The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and speak multiple languages not limited to Spanish, German, English and Dutch. There was very good nightly entertainment during and and after dinner and the 70s style bar lounge has a great vibe. Breakfast was phenomenal and should you wish to swap dinner for lunch you can do so as well if you let the staff at reception know the day before. It was my 50th birthday during our stay and the staff took the time to congratulate me and also left a very nice surprise for me in the room which was very much appreciated. We did not hire a car as we wanted to relax and celebrate and used reasonably priced taxis to get into town and the local express bus to go to Las Palmas both of which can be taken from stops a short walk away. To and from the airport we organised one transfer online and another via the hotel.

sehr stylisches Hotel, mittlerweile allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Modernisierungsbedürftig. Dennoch nach wie vor ein top Haus, mit hervorragender Küche und sehr aufmerksamem Personal.

Voor sommigen kan het hotel wat verouderd oven, maar wij vinden het vintage design van de bekende architect Pinto nog steeds top. Alle comfort in de kamer, supervriendelijk personeel, mooie afwisseling tussen wisselend à la carte menu en BBQ. Wij komen snel terug!

Alles was goed. Alleen kamer ligging was iets minder omdat deze wat meer aan de zijkant gelegen was. We vroegen een andere kamer en dit was naar de andere zijkant van het hotel dus ook geen optie ! Personeel heel behulpzaam je kan niets mis vragen. Maar toch een top hotel!

El hotel es muy agradable, la verdad es que he estado en todos los 5* de Maspalomas y ese es lo que más me gusta. Combina a la perfección ser un hotel de playa y tener algo de formalidad. La amabilidad del personal es increíble. Repito todos los años.

l In the beginning of our stay we experienced a very nice hotel with good service and food … but at the last 3 days of our stay of 7 seven days especially the main restaurant could not handle the arrival of a lot of new guests. Stressed waiters and chiefs and everyone else . No or unpolite service. Everyone at the hotel did what was possible but they were just understaffed- by far. - The only reason we did not leave was we did not no where to go. But again the first period of our stay was very nice.

Mooi hotel waar we al meerdere keren verbleven, al kan de stijl misschien niet iedereen bekoren. Poolboys, barpersoneel, housekeeping staff, obers, directie, … iedereen is erg vriendelijk en doet er alles aan om je een leuke vakantie te bezorgen.

Sehr gutes Hotel, perfekte Lage zum Strand und super Essen. Einzig störend sind die bereits um 8:30 zu 90% belegten und reservierten Liegestühlen am Pool. Seit Jahren wird dies bemängelt und nan reagiert überhaupt nicht, schade. Das Faro Hotel verbietet Reservation von Liegestühlen und entfernt Tücher innerhalb 15 Minuten. Es ist also schon möglich wenn man das will.

Simplemente fenomenal, el personal muy amable, el ambiente general y de los restaurantes y la comida excellente!!! El estilo del hotel es como un viaje a los años 70. La zona del jardín es impresionante y el SPA y las actividades ofrecidas hacen que quiero repetir. La situación prácticamente en la playa en la mejor zona de Maspalomas hace el hotel a un verdadero 5 estrellas.

An amazing in hotel right be the beach, just a two minute walk across a very quiet residential street to the the national park and dunes of Maspalomas. The pool and gardens resemble an oasis with all the canary palms around and the neighbouring property adding to the illusion of endless palms. The room was excellent, clean and well maintained as well as quiet. Water was offered daily and a chocolate before bed time. The up-price for halfboard was well worth the reasonable additional cost as the food is of excellent quality with a 4 course meal 4 nights and excellent BBQs the 3 other nights with everything that your heart desires.The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and speak multiple languages not limited to Spanish, German, English and Dutch. There was very good nightly entertainment during and and after dinner and the 70s style bar lounge has a great vibe. Breakfast was phenomenal and should you wish to swap dinner for lunch you can do so as well if you let the staff at reception know the day before. It was my 50th birthday during our stay and the staff took the time to congratulate me and also left a very nice surprise for me in the room which was very much appreciated. We did not hire a car as we wanted to relax and celebrate and used reasonably priced taxis to get into town and the local express bus to go to Las Palmas both of which can be taken from stops a short walk away. To and from the airport we organised one transfer online and another via the hotel.

Voor sommigen kan het hotel wat verouderd oven, maar wij vinden het vintage design van de bekende architect Pinto nog steeds top. Alle comfort in de kamer, supervriendelijk personeel, mooie afwisseling tussen wisselend à la carte menu en BBQ. Wij komen snel terug!

I have stayed here three times in three years. Without doubt the best food in a hotel in the area. In fact probably the best continually top quality food I’ve ever had in any hotel (and really most restaurants all over the world). It is a joy to have dinner. Breakfast is wonderful too. The pools are heated to 28 degrees and all 3/4 are lovely. Staff enjoy their jobs. Service is perfect. It is a quiet, top class hotel with gardens and tranquility. Nothing else like it in the area.

Food was excellent plenty of choices especially as my husband is a celiac, he had plenty of options. Loved the hot pool, no problem getting a sun lounger, staff very friendly. Overall lovely hotel. I will definitely be back again 😎

And 7:30am 80% of the pool beds are reserved with towels and most if it not used until 2pm. This is a typical “german” behavior but the hotel seems to be ok with it - unfortunately. Other hotels have clear rules about this.

The hotel was a last minute booking as we’d had to cancel our trip to Dubai. The hotel was good and we were given a pleasant room overlooking the pool. Hotel handily placed for walking the dunes and accessing other areas of the south coast. The restaurant was fine with enormous portions and plenty of choice at breakfast. Had two lunches in house which were not great. Two good pools - one with salt water and heated to around 35 degrees. The clientele were 85% German with quite a lot of elderly and infirm guests so not exactly party town. The bar was comfortable with quality entertainment each night. The gym was disappointing - described as containing state of the art Technogym equipment, but it was tiny and could only really cope with two people at a time. Water dispensers would have been a welcome addition round the pool as would a more disciplined sunbed booking procedure. Maspalomas was very busy during the day but quiet at night - guess it was too early in the season
