Has everything we needed for a short stay. Next door to the Cessnock Leagues club and local shops. Stayed at this place twice in past 2 years. Doesn’t disappoint. This time window was a bit tricky to shut (whistling noise), but we just kept it open as weather was great. Breakfast is nothing special, but helps when you are in a hurry early morning. Otherwise, plenty of eateries available nearby.

Great staff but let down by the old uncomfortable beds. We had 3 rooms between us and each was the same and all had a bad night's sleep due to the beds. Outdated rooms, huge kettle, remote for air-conditioning/ heater faulty in 3 rooms. The wifi did not work either, could not connect or find the ips address given. Location was great as was the lady at check in.

It was terrible. I arrived late and they wouldn't let me in and said I'd have to find somewhere else. I had been working 30 mins away all day with no reception. When I arrived at Cessnock at 10pm I had a text and missed call form them. I buzzed the intercom at the front doors and was told that because I missed the 9pm reception that I couldnt stay and would have to fund somewhere else. I've stayed at this hotel half a dozen times when I'm in the hunter for work but never again.

The rooms are clean and tidy,the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location was great, right next door to the leagues club and shopping centre. The only downside was the motor inn doesn't do a hot breakfast but a two minute walk to the shopping centre solves that issue. Very happy with our overnight stay. Caught up with family. We had dinner about 50 metres from the Wine Country Motor Inn at the Cessnock Leagues Club. It was ideal as we didn’t need to drive anywhere. The Inn was quiet, clean and the lady on duty when we booked in was very helpful and welcoming.

Wow! Amazing hotel (I would not consider it a motel). It is very Premium: modern, super clean, very comfortable, pretty big room and great receptionist. WHY is it a motel? We LOVED it, and just in front there's the league's club with great food, live music and modern decor. 5 stars for us!
