The two side entrance doors were not locked, not requiring a key to get in to the building. No coffee, no exercise room , tiny towels, loud, room didn't smell good although sheets and room were clean on arrival. This is more of a weekly or monthly rental place and not a typical hotel / motel.

Smelly, dirty carpet and floors. Rats hanging around trash can outside. Elevator could not be used from second floor. Do not recommend.

Horrible! First room we had a roach run towards us as we were walking in. Then given another room and again roaches. The front seat guy who barely looks up from his cell phone didn’t care. The nice Spanish man we thing was management??? Was appalled. The original kid acted like it was no big deal and treated us that way. Lots of transients living there and elevator buttons were broken when a couple transients fought in the elevator. Dirty, beat up, all vending machines removed. Worse than a motel. We immediately left so bugs wouldn’t get into our bags. Really gross.

Great Location, but that hotel needs repairs. Back exit door to hotel ….broken. Card wouldn’t open the door. My room door bolt lock wouldn’t lock. Front desk staff was mostly not available. Early mornings and later in the evenings. No major issues

Property needed fixing. Boiler was out no hot water. Stains on carpet, had bad smell. Was unable to.stay there.

Not a great experience. The elevator only worked to go up. You’d have to take the stairs down. Which wouldn’t be so bad if there weren’t this unidentifiable foul odor in the stairwell. The room I was given was so bare - no pictures on the wall. A whopping 2 pillows that were mismstched, a small blanket for cover. The rail at the bottom of the bed was visible! Although there wasn’t anything visibly unclean, the room just FELT dirty. And having to walk down to the stairwell at the far end of the hall felt really unsafe with some of the people who were coming and going from their rooms. The only good thing about this place was the manager at the front desk who let me modify my booking so that I wouldn’t have to remain there the entire time I originally booked for. The pictures on this listing are either fake or extremely old. Don’t be fooled - if you want a nice place to stay and you don’t have any “habits”, don’t book here.

I stayed for three days/four nights on a work trip. The parking in the front is preety horrible. Lots of parking for handicapped or platinum members, but not a lot of spaces for regular guests. There seemed to be a lot of work trucks, too, which was odd. The staff was okay. You could tell they were there to do a job. Not particularly friendly or welcoming, just get it done and that was it. I liked the room I was in. It was decent. Bed was a decent king size. Nothing spectacular. I liked that there was a kitchenette. I brought food with me to save money and not eat out. Ended up using the microwave more than anything. No pots, pans, utensils, or dishes, so bring those. If I stayed longer, I would have opted to bring mine. There were a few issues. The elevator stopped working the second day. Had a rather heavy bag I had to haul up and down stairs on a bad hip, which I wasn't happy about. The hallway smelled like pot even though its supposed to be a no smoking hotel. The back door to the hotel wasn't particularly secure and wasn't locked after 10 pm. There was noise from some of the longer term guests, but nothing horrible. A spider crawled out of the drain when I went to take my first shower. King Soopers is nearby, some decent food chains, and it's close to my workplace. It's definitely a two-star hotel in a shabby neighborhood.

One of the best places I've ever stayed is pain the staff was polite and friendly not to mention helpful when needed. They also allowed my two dogs which are actually my kids that most turn their backs on so I was very appreciative at that too. They're laundry facilities were pleasantly surprising seeing that there were six dryers and six washers that all worked perfectly fine well maintained and cleaned regularly. I've definitely wouldn't mind going back

None of the side doors worked. The front parking half of it is handicapped so if u park behind you have to walk around the whole building to get to the front. The police was there 3 times and we only stayed 6 out of the 7 nights . Someone’s car alarm kept going off in the middle of the night for an hour. Overall 3/10

Filthy, smelled like urine, rooms are not as pictured, half way housing/ transitional living, felt unsafe, had cockroaches, no cooking utensils, or pots and pans to cook with. I had to clean the room myself to make it feel as if it was clean enough to stay in. The cost was outrageous to stay at a place like this. We could not change hotels due to timing of our schedule. I do NOT recommend!

Presented as refurbished room but gross with unpleasant smell. Wish I had not wasted my credit. It was worse because I had my family there. Yucky! Nervous to trust Expedia now.

The room I stayed in had blood-stained sheets that were NOT changed from the previous occupant. This property has very poor management to allow the disgusting cleaning service... My room floor needed vacuumed, the towels were dirty and the sheets had NOT been changed from the previous occupant. Stay here at YOUR own risk! I will NEVER go back!!!

Not clean at all

2nd Floor Smelled like Rotted Meat. There Was Dog Crapand zdead Roaches Down the Hall Way. Had Told Staff and Was there for 5 Days and Nothing was Done. There Were Roaches in the Kitchen and No Cooking Utensils or Cook Wear to Use in the Kitchen. Its a Hotel for Long term Residents. . One of the Wosrt if Not The Worst Place I Have Stayed. .

The carpet was unvacuumed, and the sheets and walls were stained. Chocolate chips were scattered throughout the bathroom, near the toilet and sink. There was also evidence of previous guests, including debris and hairs on the bed. I only stayed for a few hours because I was too disgusted to stay longer. Additionally, the elevator had an unpleasant odor.

We had a reservation for 4 nights. We stayed one night only becaz we were tiredfrom traveling. The bed had not been changed. There was hair and crumbs in the bed. I asked for clean sheets, a pillow and a blanket. The sheets that were given to me were dirty/stained, they had no pillows or blankets.... no hair dryers. When we left the next day a woman in the elevator talked about roaches coming out of her sink. I tried to call the manager the next day 6 times about refund.. there was no answer. Needless to say the pictures on the website are very deceiving. I would not recommend thid place at all!

I have seen the police here 4 times in the last 3 days. Walking barefoot on the linoleum turns your geet black. The internet is often less than 5 Mbps. They never seem to have many rooms available but the parking area can usually handle 49 more vehicles. Often the next door Skate City patrons park here and there is still plenty of parking. Also homeless in the stairwells occasionally or outside and some sleep in their cars.

It is a comfortable place. The room was clean. The hallways and stairwells well lit and clean. Overall not a bad place. Worked out for what I needed with a place to cook some food etc. It is a little ran down. Could use an update but honestly there was nothing to complain about really. Inexpensive place.

I booked the room specifically because the listing said it had a kitchenette—with a fridge and electric stove for cooking. The fridge worked, though when I arrived it had a few water bottles in it that were almost completely frozen. I adjusted the temperature and it regulated by the next day. The stove, unfortunately, didn’t work at all. The walls are paper-thin—you can hear neighbors talking and moving around until about 1 a.m. It’s clear that some people live there long-term. Not gonna lie, the whole place reminded me of the neighborhood I grew up in back in L.A.—pretty raw, kinda gangsta. Honestly, I felt right at home. Everyone I bumped into in the hallways was cool with me—no weird vibes. That said, my first night there, the place got raided. At least ten cop cars showed up. Then on my last day, I came back to find my door wide open. They were in the middle of changing all the locks on the upstairs units. Since people had been in my room, I threw away all my food and water. I’ve lived through a lot of trauma, and I just couldn’t bring myself to trust anything that had been left out. That was a waste of money. On the bright side, there’s a supermarket right across the street and a few restaurants nearby, which was super convenient. I did appreciate the fresh renovations. I just didn't understand how using the pans and pots cost more than one night. But other than that we'll definitely be back. With our chef gear.

You'll likely hear your neighbor's TV, so ear plugs are a wonderful thing.

There was no one at the front desk at 3:15 (3pm is the start of checkin) ….no bell to ring. Waited 15 minutes and finally called.

Extremely nice staff and security. They went out of their way to help a recently homeless/ disabled vet get shelter and connect with a social worker. They seemed to treat everyone well and with respect. Management seems to have an eye for hiring nice people. This place is also very dog friendly.

I had a great stay at Suburban Studios. The staff were kind, helpful, and always made me feel welcome. Thank you for the excellent service!

Book the room and when we arrived we were told the room we booked they don’t have. We were told not sure why they show we have that room. The manager was a complete joke along with the rest of the staff. They wouldn’t refund my money because of the error. We left immediately and I had to pay for another hotel room. Stay away from this hotel. Very unclean and not worth the money.

Showed up at 12:11. Called hotel. They canceled my reservation after a 17 hour drive.

I went down to the desk because they wouldn’t answer my calls, My key wasn’t working and I had a lot of stuff to bring in, so I had to get someone to watch my stuff and run down to the desk and the person wouldn’t even acknowledge that I was there and then because I was tapping on the desk she said that I was rude and mean!! For one thing the key should always work and then to not even answer the phone or at least acknowledge that I’m there and waiting, was just the perfect way to greet someone, I’m so glad I’m going to be leaving in the morning and will not be back ever!!!

The staff is really nice

When we went to check into this hotel, we were informed that the manager gave away our room and we were not provided with a reason why. We booked through Expedia, and they just disregarded our booking without letting us know. We had to scramble to find another hotel to stay at for a 10 day stay night of.

Staff is exceptional here. All easy to talk to and make the experience seemless when checking in and extending. They even give you a courtesy call an hour ahead of checkout/renewal time in case you happen to have slept in☺️

Easy access to shopping and clean

The property was alright some of the staff was nice and helpful, location is a little off putting as there were homeless looking into the windows on the bottom floor throughout the day.

Location is good, 2 week’s cleaning interval is long. Overall nice place to stay. Mall right across the road.

I actually didn't even stay here. I checked in walked up to the room and turned around and headed to the front desk to turn in my key. I had $10k of gear in the cab of my truck and with what appeared to be questionable people all over the property and most looked strung out on drugs and others smoking Marijuana on the property. I have experience dealing with people that are strung out and/or suffering from mental health issues. I did not feel safe at this property and would rather sleep in my truck then to risk sleeping here. I received no refund in which when I booked it hours before I knew that. I told the representative to give my room to someone else. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone other that homeless that have a voucher for a night stay as this appears to be a facility that offers that. UNSAFE PROPERTY.
