The pool area, pool bar, evening bar and reception are great. Rooms are dated and some of the areas leading to them are too. No problem for us we just wanted a base. The hotel is about 10/15 min walk from the main strip in corralejo.

Great views from the balcony. Helpful reception staff. Great evening bar with friendly and entertaining staff who made it a great experience! Pool is very busy and the fight for sun beds is ridiculous in August. Not enough space for the amount of guests so I didn’t bother with the pool. The pool bar is good but the next morning it was still scruffy and not clean so only went once. No cleans or fresh towels during the stay. Staff, large apartment, friendly staff and lovely evening atmosphere

Diamond of a hotel at a good price. Lovely pool area, fab sea views, great little friendly bar, supermarket on site who make pizzas for €4.50, the most comfortable queen bed I’ve slept in, new fluffy towels, fab rainfall shower, basic room but all you need. Will be back.

Room was good and clean with a comfortable bed . Kitchen not very well supplied with no bottle opener or small knifes for chopping fruit. The outdoor areas really need retiling as there were lots of broken bits of floor tiles. The pool had a bad mix of salt and chlorine. As my first swim stripped all my silver jewelery and left them tarnished and black. So i didnt use the pool again. Fantastic beaches easily reached by very frequant buses.

Rooms aren’t cleaned, dust everywhere, no towel or bedding changes, overflowing bins around the grounds, watch out for cleaning staff throwing bags of rubbish/linen over the balconies! Very tired complex in need of a lot of attention, cracked floor tiles, shower head hanging off the wall, rusty metal work mirrors etc, poles in balcony barrier fell out, broken pool lights and water features, vending machines all broken. Rude receptionist, had to argue to be given 1 extra toilet roll. Barman was great but drinks are clearly watered down.

The hotel is in good location with 10 min walk into town. The pools are salt water and cold. A lot of rooms over look the pool. And Evening bar with entertainment on. The restaurant was refurbished but has since closed. It just received a lot of new sunbeds as a lot of the old ones are broken. Nice sunset view outside of hotel

Estuvimos 10 días(9 noches) nos entraba una limpieza a la mitad de la estancia y no solo no limpiaron el apartamento si no que nos dejaron en una bolsa de basura las toallas y sábanas limpias, que encima no se correspondían con las medidas de la cama que había en el apartamento. Comentamos el problema y se nos dijo que se haría el apartamentos y no lo hicieron. En cuanto a la limpieza fatal vaya.

Cuando le pregunté a la chica de la limpieza cada cuando cambiaban las toallas, me dice que la limpieza se hace una sola vez en semana, o sea que en toda una semana no entran a limpiar ni sacar basura ni cambiar toallas ni dejar papel higiénico, etc. Menos mal que me dio un par de rollos de papel y bolsas de basura para poder cambiar y le dejé las toallas sucias y me dio nuevas. Por otro lado cuando llegué todo contento porque había dos televisores de 40 pulgadas en el salón y en el dormitorio, pero mi gozo en un pozo porque el del salón no encendía a pesar de tener el piloto rojo encendido y el del dormitorio solo se veía la 1 la 2 y la Canaria todas las demás se veían mal. Lo dije en recepción y me dijeron que pasarían pero no solucionaron nada. El sitio bien más o menos relación calidad precio.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable—there were hairs everywhere, and it was clear the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. The tiles in the room were wobbly, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. I had specifically requested one large bed (a king or queen bed), but instead, I was given two separate beds, which was inconvenient and not what I booked. On top of that, the check-in process was extremely slow. It took 30 minutes to check in because the receptionist was very unorganized and inefficient. Additionally, the check-in time of 5:00 PM is far too late, leaving little time to settle in and enjoy the stay. To make matters worse, I tried calling the hotel earlier to discuss my booking, but no one picked up the phone, making it impossible to address any issues in advance. Overall, the service, communication, and cleanliness were far below the standard I expect, and I hope these issues are resolved for future guests.

I enjoyed my stay. The apartment was very comfortable. I just had one minor issue with ants but on reporting the matter to Reception they sent someone to my apartment to resolve the problem. Although the spray provided did not eradicate them permanent I bought “Ant Bait Traps” in the supermarket which resolved the issue.

Pool view room, sea view from bedroom window. A bit dated, could do with an upgrade. Nice walk into the old town, not too far. Only cleaned once weekly, terrace not cleaned. . Plenty of sun loungers, nice clean pools.

It's right by the sea...which is good. It can be very windy there though. The so-called self catering facilities were pretty poor - 2 pans (which hardly fit on the 2 ring hob at the same time), a colander, a bread knife (blunt), crockery (no dishes/bowls, just plates, glasses & cups), and cutlery. However, I managed, after buying a few bits and bobs (a new sharp knife and chopping board was essential). There was a kettle, microwave and a pretty filthy toaster! There was a bed in the living room, as well as one in the bedroom...not the best for sitting on to watch the one UK channel available (BBC News). The Marismas Hotel (where I stayed earlier on this visit) was much better than this hotel.

Hotel pool and bar very nice, reception is well maintained. Bathroom have been renovated and showers are excellent. Rooms are excellent for self catering and plenty of supplies. However be aware there is no cleaning. But cleaning supplies provided, once you are aware all is well, you get what you pay for and price is great and location is great

I had a very bad experience with this hotel in first instance they have assigned a room which was unsellable just opposite the back kitchen of the pool bar with all the dirty and waste around. To change the room they have charged me 90€ which I felt robbed. The receptionist Gloria and her manager were very rude and also they haven’t even let me talked with the property manager! The experience was so frustrating and disappointed which I made the decision to not come back anymore in this hotel! They haven’t even apologised were so rude the girls at the reception! Disgusting!

We've stayed at the Bristol Playa many times over many years and still find it very good value for money. Huge beds, lovely showers, good location, good facilities. Some people criticise the provision of towels and frequency of cleaning, but it doesn't bother us.

L horreur ! Le pire des hôtels. Sale, délabré, personnel désagréable et pas de Wifi contrairement a la description de la location. Aucune chaîne française ! Notre chambre avait la terrasse face au local poubelles. L hôtel est extrêmement bruyant. Une nouvelle route a été créée entre l hôtel et la mer. Un parking de camping cars empêche toute vue! We enjoyed our weekend stay here. Sadly, a few slight things let it down. Firstly, the negatives. Our room smelled strongly of cigerettes. As non smokers, this was quite off putting. A very late check in of 5pm was a little inconvenient but there was a place to store our luggage. The electrics were dodgy. Some of the lights wouldnt turn off and some would flicker and trip. Lots of positives though. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Everywhere was clean and quiet too. Location wise, it's a little walk from the centre but very quiet and our room has lovely views over the ocean. We enjoyed some live music in the bar on Saturday evening. We would definitely stay again in the future though.
