Lovely hotel but not a 5 star hotel. It looks very pretty but lacks the elements a 5 star hotel should have. Our check in was stated as 2pm. Arrived at 215 to be told check in would be ‘after 3pm’ - we weren’t called about our room until 3.50pm. Check in was a farce, spent 20 mins trying to check in despite checking in one room on line (couldn’t do the 2nd as the site kept crashing). Then when we went to get our keys we were kept waiting another 10 mins for no apparent reason. Then we had to wait for someone to come to get our cases as they were still sitting in the lobby. They also hadn’t kept track of what luggage was ours as we had to ask for other bags that weren’t with our main case which was a bit alarming. Rooms were fine, simple and clean. Refillable water is great but would be nice if it was full on arrival to the room rather than having to trek to the cooler. Minibar is a bit random and they don’t advertise that certain things that are there aren’t included in the room rate which is a bit cheeky. Food was ok, nothing great and for a 5 star hotel very much a disappointment. The hot food wasn’t hot, choices were repetitive at lunch and dinner. The fresh made food was very basic and again repetitive. Outside areas were clean but the sun lounger padded cushions were left out every night so were soaked and horrible to sit on in the morning. Again, not the standard you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Pretty disappointed with our stay.

Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, Abnutzungserscheinungen sind sichtbar.Die Vorhänge im Zimmer waren schon löchrig und das Beistellbett hat bei jeder Bewegung geknarrt. Aus der Klimaanlage kam nur warme Luft. Essen war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich mit großer Auswahl. Liegen waren morgens um 7.30 fast schon alle belegt, zu wenige Sonnenschirme vorhanden. Handtuchtausch war auch kaum möglich, da selten welche vorrätig waren. Sehe das Hotel eher im Bereich eines 4-Sterne Hotels an.

Fantastic hotel . Would thoroughly recommend. Accommodation is top class, breakfast is superb and location on the sea front is wonderful. Star prestige well worth the money with free drinks and snacks during the day and an exclusive adult only pool area. Good sports facilities as well. 10 min walk to the main shops and restaurants in Playa Blanca and taxis are cheap and easily available if required. Will be returning next year.

Brilliant weeks stay at Lanzarote Park. Location is perfect…short walk to Playa Blanca shops and restaurants and a gorgeous little beach Playa Flamingo on your doorstep! Watching the waves of the sea whilst lying in your sun lounger by the pool is a real treat! Staff were all so lovely and helpful. We booked Star Prestige and would definitely book this again. Beautiful room overlooking pool and sea, mini bar, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine and the biggest shower I’ve ever seen! Plenty of hanging space in wardrobes and a huge comfy bed! Pillows were a bit uncomfortable though and nowhere to store your case away was disappointing. Drinks and snacks all day till 6 at the Star Prestige pool bar plus daily activities. Not sure I would book half board again as I do get board by same choice of meals every night and some of the food is lukewarm…a separate a la carte restaurant would be really good! Evening entertainment was really good- especially the singers we enjoyed out at the Star Prestige pool each evening. All in all a highly recommended winter sun destination!

We just spent 4 nights at Iberostar. Would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were really friendly, plenty of activities to do for everyone. We went half board and they had a lot of choices (vegetarian/vegan) for both breakfast and dinner. I went with my 6 year old and he really enjoyed the water slides at the hotel. The room was really clean and spacious. We had double partial sea view room. The hotel also has a good location.

Room wasn’t clean, towels aren’t towels they are just cut offs. Furniture in the room cheap tacky and stained. Food good, customer service mostly good. Breakfast service very very slow, but food good choice. Communal areas modern and nice shame they haven’t done the same for the rooms. I wouldn’t stay again due to the rooms, stains on the wardrobes, doors wood peeling back, patio doors don’t lock with handle you have a little boot at the top. Beds horrendous.

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. Only stayed on a B&B basis but breakfast selection was excellent. On the negative side, I twice reported a problem with the balcony light but it was not fixed during our one week stay

We stayed here from 22nd December 2025 until 12th January 2026. The check-in was very friendly and attentive with a nice glass of cava on arrival. We had requested a high floor and west (sunset) facing room, we were given a high floor but an East facing room overlooking the Children's pools and slides. We were offered a "Privilege" room which they kindly showed us so we could choose between the two. The only problem was they would require another 882 Euros for our 21 night stay. We decided to accept the room we had originally been allocated. The room itself was lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean with a lovely balcony which had a table and 2 chairs, and views over to Playa Blanca Port and the sea. The bathroom facilities were very good with a nice rainfall shower and complimentary toiletries. The one problem we had with our room was the A/C, it was centrally controlled and we were not able to change the setting to "heat", as it did get chilly in the evenings, but it was permanently on "cool", we did ask reception who said that if we wanted they could supply us with a heater, but we declined their offer, we just turned it off. As a 5 star hotel we feel that this should be addressed as soon as possible, being that the Canaries are an all year round destination. We were grateful for the fresh chilled water stations, which are available free of charge for the guests to fill their bottles etc, they are positioned on every floor of the hotel.

Brilliant weeks stay at Lanzarote Park. Location is perfect…short walk to Playa Blanca shops and restaurants and a gorgeous little beach Playa Flamingo on your doorstep! Watching the waves of the sea whilst lying in your sun lounger by the pool is a real treat! Staff were all so lovely and helpful. We booked Star Prestige and would definitely book this again. Beautiful room overlooking pool and sea, mini bar, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine and the biggest shower I’ve ever seen! Plenty of hanging space in wardrobes and a huge comfy bed! Pillows were a bit uncomfortable though and nowhere to store your case away was disappointing. Drinks and snacks all day till 6 at the Star Prestige pool bar plus daily activities. Not sure I would book half board again as I do get board by same choice of meals every night and some of the food is lukewarm…a separate a la carte restaurant would be really good! Evening entertainment was really good- especially the singers we enjoyed out at the Star Prestige pool each evening. All in all a highly recommended winter sun destination!

The food was very good. The staff were also good. The room and facilities are very dated - in urgent need of renovation and not what I would expect from a 5*. Our room had multiple issues including leaking shower and loose bathroom fittings.

For context, we left yesterday after having spent three nights and had stayed at Barcelo Santiago in Tenerife for three nights immediately prior: 1. The Good On the upside, the breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had and better than Barcelo Santiago. The pools were awesome although I wish they had people coming around asking for drink orders. Location was very convenient as it was walking distance to many restaurants. Walking to beaches is possible although it’s a bit far. Maybe the hotel should have a fleet of electric scooters which guests can borrow? 2. The So-so When I first approached the property, I was a little distressed as it is in a commercial area and one approaches through a small shopping area consisting of tourist rental shops for bikes, scooters, etc. I was relieved once I got to the lobby. The rooms were spacious and ours had a great ocean view but the decor is a stark white (no art or on the walls or color anywhere) which gets a bit monotonous. 3. The Bottom Line Nice place but not as lux as some of the hotels I’ve stayed at in the past and not as nice as Barcelo Santiago. But we certainly enjoyed it!

Mkt god mat, trevlig och serviceinriktad personal, härlig utsikt från balkongen MEN en matsal utan dresscode och full av skrikande små barn. Mkt hög ljudnivå. Har svårt att förstå hur hotellet anses vara klass 5. Ganska slitna rum. Har bott på Iberostar-hotell på andra turistorter tidigare och varit mkt nöjda. Här uppfylldes inte våra förväntningar.

The beds are old and rickety, the bathrooms seemed to attract mosquitoes whenever you had a shower, leaving my daughter and I covered in bites. There were no activities of any merit, no spin classes even though there is a designated spin room, terrible kids club, and tennis courts where you are not able to hire a coach …. Supposedly for insurance purposes. The hotel was very expensive and I feel cheated. It was positioned nicely with great sea views, and there was lots of options at the buffet. But I feel you can’t charge these prices and offer the rooms in that state with such low quality activities. I actually left the hotel 2 days earlier to go somewhere else.

Lovely hotel but not a 5 star hotel. It looks very pretty but lacks the elements a 5 star hotel should have. Our check in was stated as 2pm. Arrived at 215 to be told check in would be ‘after 3pm’ - we weren’t called about our room until 3.50pm. Check in was a farce, spent 20 mins trying to check in despite checking in one room on line (couldn’t do the 2nd as the site kept crashing). Then when we went to get our keys we were kept waiting another 10 mins for no apparent reason. Then we had to wait for someone to come to get our cases as they were still sitting in the lobby. They also hadn’t kept track of what luggage was ours as we had to ask for other bags that weren’t with our main case which was a bit alarming. Rooms were fine, simple and clean. Refillable water is great but would be nice if it was full on arrival to the room rather than having to trek to the cooler. Minibar is a bit random and they don’t advertise that certain things that are there aren’t included in the room rate which is a bit cheeky. Food was ok, nothing great and for a 5 star hotel very much a disappointment. The hot food wasn’t hot, choices were repetitive at lunch and dinner. The fresh made food was very basic and again repetitive. Outside areas were clean but the sun lounger padded cushions were left out every night so were soaked and horrible to sit on in the morning. Staff offer drinks for to everyone without making it clear that water is not included in half boarding only to charge costs to your room: I suggest a drinks menu should be available on each table and staff should mention when presenting water that this is chargeable to avoid embarrassing guests.

Another lovely week spent in the star prestige area of this great hotel. All the staff, whatever their role in the hotel, were faultless throughout, always a hello and smile when passing you. We have visited this hotel yearly for approximately 7 years and will definitely be back. Well done to the Iberostar staff

Ligging van het hotel is super. Langs de wandelboulevard in playa blanca kan je kiezen voor naar het drukkere centrum van playa blanca te gaan met de vele winkeltjes en horeca, of om naar de andere kant te gaan richting vuurtoren naar het rustigere gedeelte.

Brilliant weeks stay at Lanzarote Park. Location is perfect…short walk to Playa Blanca shops and restaurants and a gorgeous little beach Playa Flamingo on your doorstep! Watching the waves of the sea whilst lying in your sun lounger by the pool is a real treat! Staff were all so lovely and helpful. We booked Star Prestige and would definitely book this again. Beautiful room overlooking pool and sea, mini bar, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine and the biggest shower I’ve ever seen! Plenty of hanging space in wardrobes and a huge comfy bed! Pillows were a bit uncomfortable though and nowhere to store your case away was disappointing. Drinks and snacks all day till 6 at the Star Prestige pool bar plus daily activities. Not sure I would book half board again as I do get board by same choice of meals every night and some of the food is lukewarm…a separate a la carte restaurant would be really good! Evening entertainment was really good- especially the singers we enjoyed out at the Star Prestige pool each evening. All in all a highly recommended winter sun destination!

For context, we left yesterday after having spent three nights and had stayed at Barcelo Santiago in Tenerife for three nights immediately prior: 1. The Good On the upside, the breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had and better than Barcelo Santiago. The pools were awesome although I wish they had people coming around asking for drink orders. Location was very convenient as it was walking distance to many restaurants. Walking to beaches is possible although it’s a bit far. Maybe the hotel should have a fleet of electric scooters which guests can borrow? 2. The So-so When I first approached the property, I was a little distressed as it is in a commercial area and one approaches through a small shopping area consisting of tourist rental shops for bikes, scooters, etc. I was relieved once I got to the lobby. The rooms were spacious and ours had a great ocean view but the decor is a stark white (no art or on the walls or color anywhere) which gets a bit monotonous. 3. We just spent 4 nights at Iberostar. Would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were really friendly, plenty of activities to do for everyone. We went half board and they had a lot of choices (vegetarian/vegan) for both breakfast and dinner. I went with my 6 year old and he really enjoyed the water slides at the hotel. The room was really clean and spacious. We had double partial sea view room. The hotel also has a good location.

This hotel is brilliant. The location is great, the rooms are clean and nice and the staff are super friendly and very efficient. Our air con was broken but the manager DIEGO was absolutely brilliant and sorted things for us straight away in a very friendly and professional manner. the food is really nice with a good choice and high quality, and there is also plenty for the kids to do, and the entertainment in the evenings was really good. We would return to this hotel.

Mediocre yet very expensive stay. One bar stank strongly of puke for the whole duration of our stay. Unfortunately the bathtowel point was also around there which meant they also smelled, even when ‘fresh’. Hotel did nothing to prevent sunbed hoggers which meant that we struggled to find a place when we wanted to spend some time by the pool, even though there were fewer people in the pool than occupied sunbeds. Have discovered that all-inclusive resorts are definitely not for me but will certainly never go back to any iberostar resort. Staff was very nice though!
