Bungalows Playa Limones

Stayed again in November, (5th repeat visit) good clean basic accomodation, lovely staff, and very quiet and relaxed. Great heated pool. Tip location, 5 mins to Flamingo beach, 15 mins from main town. Good to see onsite bar now open again.

We had a great stay, the bungalow has everything you need, it gets cleaned almost every day, great location, super close to the beautifull flamingo beach at 5 minutes walk maximum. One of the 3 pools pools was heated, plus they have billiards and mini golf in the complex and the kids loved it. We would definitely stay again.

We were very happy with the property and would definitely return. The value for money was incredible, location was perfect, staff very friendly, lovely communal pool area, everything was clean with plenty of self catering equipment. Yes, inside the bungalow was basic and dated and could use a refurbishment but the accommodation was half the price of anything else we found and for the price, we were pleasantly surprised how good it was. If you want cheap holiday self catering accommodation, I would recommend Bungalows Playa Limones.

Had a very good experience here only let down by it’s advertised as having a bar and restaurant but both of these are closed and have been for a number of months so would have expected that to be notified to people booking But saying that there was a little bar next door run by a very welcoming German lady who made our group very welcome Just a cover note they are still advertising bar and restaurant outside.

The Property is in a quiet location but taxis can be got easily, and there are quite a few shops, bars and restaurants within walking distances. However, we were advised our room would be cleaned daily during the stay - there was never a cleaner. Ants were taking over and the place was not clean. The pool was empty - we didnt see one person using the pool during our stay at all - it looked dirty overall so could understand why and we didn't use it either! No air con which made it a very uncomfortable stay and rooms are very dated. One of the cupboards in our kitchen was taped together and there was no shelving unit in the fridge (which was also unclean) staff were friendly enough and happy to call a taxi but we were refused purchase of water as we had no cash and weren't allowed to pay by card. We wouldn't return!

The bungalows are great a little dated but ok very clean but the lack of aircon is hard, but we knew this wrote coming and the price reflects this. The pools no one hardly used so that was great just wish one was a little shallower like 1/1.2m so the kids could play easier. Man on bar was really friendly.

Would definitely return Positives excellent free Wi Fi, very comfortable bed, very close to Flamingo beach which is fabulous with a selection of restaurants and cafes, lovely heated pool though wish it was the bigger one, patio was a real sun trap where you could escape the wind and was very private as not pool facing, all the equipment we needed such as a kettle and microwave and hob, good free parking that was barrier controlled so safe, close to supermarket problem with shower rectified immediately by maintenance man that we approached, cleaners very good and sheets were fine and changed regularly which was lovely Good wardrobe with lots of hangers and safe available at a cost Negatives- soundproofing ( our neighbour coughed loads which felt like he was in our room, tape covering defects in kitchen very unhygienic and in the bathroom not good but plenty of space in bathroom to store things, bring your own hairdryer, towels poor

They also sell water on reception which saves carrying a heavy bottle. The pool bar does a great cocktail and the barman was lovely. We only stayed 3 nights and were offered the maid service on two days. The WiFi was very good but the tv only had news channel in English. The pool area was clean and one pool was heated although the pools were too deep for us. Would recommend to those wishing a budget break.

Love the patio with sun beds which allows you to get away from any wind Towels should be replaced Bed very comfy.Linen good No air con but not needed in winter so no problem Excellent wi fi Very disappointed that pool was out of use on our last 2 days - seems poor that the need for chemicals can cause such a disruption. A little bbq outside would make up for poor kitchen.

Great value for money and fantastic location. Spacious patio area and everything you need in the kitchen. Quite location and hotel, which is what we were after. Lots of space around the pool, which was never busy. Cleaning and change of towels every couple of days. Friendly reception staff. Pleasant stay

Beds are comfortable but the bungalow could do with a thorough clean ( table and chairs are clammy, old vomit staining the tiles behind the bathroom door ), the back door doesn't lock and lots of cracked tiles on the veranda. The receptionist would benefit from a hospitality course but the bar staff and the staff around the grounds are very friendly.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is nice and spacious and the location is perfect and close to the beach. The hygiene could have been a little better and also I missed some basic tools like a sponge to wash dishes and dish soap. Things that you normally don’t get for a few nights on holiday.

La puntuación media es "normal/bien". A la llegada había bastantes mosquitos en la habitación y baño, la limpieza de la estancia no era del todo buena (telas de araña, humedades y pintura en mal estado, piso del baño con pelos, toallas con olor a lejía y humedad), en cambio el cuidado de los jardines y zonas comunes era excelente y el personal maravilloso. La tranquilidad envidiable. No estaría mal darle un "lavado de cara" a la estancia (el gotelé ya no se usa)

Localisation près de la plage. En droit calme. Personnel serviable et agréable. Les extérieurs sont propres et accueillants. Bungalow, un peu vieillissant, mais fonctionnel. Ménage régulier. Mais n oublions pas le prix, très attractif pour Playa Blanca.

Spent a wonderful 20 days at Bungalows Playa Limones, mostly as a solo traveller, apart from a few days when family visited. Having stayed at 4 different complexes while travelling throughout Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, this was my favourite. The Receptionist (Nacho) was so friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very comfortable, nice and quiet, with a cleaning service 5 times a week. I loved the way that they had 3 separate recycle bins in kitchen area. Very large verandah area with lovely comfortable loungers. Delighted that they had a heated pool (as my stay was January/February and a Library so no need to bring books. Perfect Flamingo Beach was just across the road with beautiful Tavernas. I will definitely be back. Friends have already booked on my recommendation. Thank you Nacho and Playa Limones!

El bungalow estaba bien. No nos gustó que el suelo de la ducha era de piedritas y nos duchabamos con las chanclas. La limpieza normal. El buffet era escaso y había poca variedad. Las piscinas y el entorno de los bungalows estaban muy bien cuidados. El personal muy agradable y amable.

This is our second time at the Limones, and again it surpassed expectations. The place is immaculate, housekeeping is exceptionally good and attentive. What it offers is a wonderful base in tranquil surroundings. You have so much space and it’s such a peaceful environment. We have absolutely no complaints and cannot wait to book again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Great location near to restiarants and beach. Nice quiet complex. 3 swimming pools with restaurant and bar on site. Bungalows have everything you need. They are looking a bit tired. Very comfortable beds. We had a bit of an issue with ants which was dealt with efficiently. It would be handy to have a spray in bungalows to deal with this problem.

The bungalows are quite pretty but the decoration is kind of old. They are clean and spacious. The bedroom is a liitle small but has a great waredrob. It said on the app I booked that they had breakfast for 6 euros but it was 12 euros and the restaurant was closed, only the snack bar was opened. That was really disappointing! Across the street from nice beach. Free parking.

It's a great no-frill base with easy access to the sea front. The bungalow and patio with loungers are spacious and the beds comfy. The grounds are very well kept. The staff was very responsive the few times we had a query or needed their help. The place fitted our needs and expectations perfectly.

Basic apartment with a lovely private patio with sun beds . Quite spacious and has most things you need for a weekly stay. Very clean and really comfortable mattress. Excellent value for money . No subbed wars around the pool as loads of space and spare beds . Would stay again and have stayed overnight previously.

Good location close to flamingo beach. Several restaurants close by and and a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. Bungalow was clean but the general decor looked tired and would benefit from a refurb. Nice patio area with table and sun loungers. Only crockery and cutlery for 3 people which makes it difficult to invite people round for food or drinks.

Cet hotel est très bien situé et les bungalows autour de la piscine sont très sympas Mais le tout mérite d être rénové, les salles de bain et kitchenettes sont en très mauvais état. Les bungalows collés à la route sont bruyants.

It is an older property, so you will notice that. The beds are not the newest, nor the swimming pool. However, it is still a great value for the price. There is a lot of space and the cleaning lady was very friendly, as were the cafe staff. Safe, 3 mins walk from one of the beaches, and nice lounge chairs on the private patios.

The complex is ok but needs upgrading,the bungalows are well layed out and spacious, pool area is big and not over crowded,nicely laid out bar for drinks and snacks and happy friendly guy who looks after it,downside of the complex is the reception staff,not very welcoming and not very polite!

We were there four days had no change of towels or bedsheets, reception staff need to go on a customer service course!! Everything needs a referb .

Llegue a altas horas de la noche y me hicieron la llegada muy cómoda, los bungalow están en una situación excepcional, literalmente a 2min de la playa, con parquing y tranquilidad, sin duda cuando vuelva a Lanzarote me alojaré aquí.

Friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Sylvia and Gregor very approachable and fun. Bungalows well equipped and comfortable. The property is in an ideal situation for the lovely beach and walk into town. Restaurant manager very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay there again.

It was a short but overall a good stay. We enjoyed the location, being so close to the main beach of Playa Blanca, the place itself being very accommodating and clean. We were comfortable and would recommend this place to others. Our highlight was the helpfulness and dedication to our comfort of the staff. We discovered ants in our apartment late in the night and they went out of their way to help us relocate and ensure that the old apartment was purged of any ants. It was late in the night, so we appreciated this dedication and attention:))

Great stay - beds are super comfy ! - great location for a cheap getaway

We had a great stay, the bungalow has everything you need, it gets cleaned almost every day, great location, super close to the beautifull flamingo beach at 5 minutes walk maximum. The location was brilliant, the beach was 150yds across the road, a bus stop for the local no.30 bus 50 yds away. There is a well stocked Spar supermarket with fresh bakery about 800yds down the road and beyond that another 500yds to a bus stop served by buses to the airport and the rest of the island. The Bungalows themselves were fine, as we were out most of the time, but maintenance wise, were patched up and needed more love. From the looks of it, no23 had been given that love, but it had not stretched to any of the others. The cleaning staff are jolly and pop in to make your beds and wipe the floor, but they do not do any washing up, which is fine but there is no soap or cloths so that you can do it yourself. Do not bother booking any meals to be included in your stay. Sadly, breakfast is appalling. They have a proper coffee machine, but breakfast coffee comes from an instant machine and tastes disgusting, no cereals, you are lucky if there is any bread, they do not cater for dietary's. They may reluctantly cook you an omelette on a hotplate, but it tends to come out half raw. The breakfast staff appear as if they would rather be anywhere else. After three days, we went elsewhere! Basically save your money and go to to the cafe at the beach or cook it yourself. Although I can recommend an new cafe in town called Aroma. We only booked b&b but other guests advised that the other meals were not much better. I would stay again, but for bed only.

Good standard accommodation perfect for a quiet relaxing stay, near to Playa Flamingo beach. Shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Had a great time away. Any issues quickly dealt with.

This was perfect for me. In a quiet part of Playa Blanca but still within walking distance to the main shops and restaurants. I think I munch preferred to be here than in one of the fancy hotels. It was really just a base for me but the area was beautiful and relaxing. I did not use the pools or cafe/bar. I would definitely choose this again.

The property is in a good location close to the beach and amenities but the bungalows need updating, I know money is tight after covid and I hope they do it in the future as it is in a good location, if we go there again we will go self catering as the breakfast is the worst we have had in years.

L’hôtel se compose de petites maisonnettes individuelles, ce qui lui confère un charme certain et une atmosphère conviviale. Le site est très bien entretenu : les jardins sont soignés, les plantes luxuriantes, et l'ensemble de l'espace extérieur est agréable à vivre. La plage à une rue seulement, un accès au top. Bien que l’établissement ne soit pas moderne, il conserve une certaine authenticité. Les trois piscines, bien que datées, sont parfaitement propres et bien entretenues. Le principal point faible réside dans la maisonnette elle-même. Malgré une propreté irréprochable, le style est trop vintage et mériterait une rénovation. Le réfrigérateur dégage une odeur de moisi désagréable, et la cuisine, vieillissante, devrait impérativement être remise à neuf pour offrir un meilleur confort. En revanche, la salle de bains est un vrai point fort : moderne, fonctionnelle et agréable à utiliser. Côté restauration, le petit déjeuner servi au bar à l'entrée de l’hôtel est un vrai régal. Les sandwichs chauds préparés sur place sont délicieux, et les mojitos valent également le détour. Une belle surprise culinaire dans un cadre détendu.

El apartamento está muy envejecido, necesita una renovación. El desayuno no tiene variedad y la calidad de lo que hay es baja. En cuanto a las cenas más de lo mismo. Lo único reseñable es el personal, muy amable y dispuesto, aunque son pocos y van un poco de cabeza. Si buscas un alojamiento barato, sólo para dormir, es aceptable.
