Hotel Beatriz Playa & Spa

Lovely, spacious, well-equipped room with balcony, very comfy beds and good sized bathroom. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Plenty of space & lots of sunbeds around the 2 pools, one of which was heated. The food was very good and there was always loads of choice - freshly cooked meat & fish, salads, pasta, pizza, stew, lots of different veg & potatoes plus fresh fruit, cakes & deserts. The spa pool was well worth a visit for an extra 12€ for 2hrs. Great location right on the seafront with a long, flat pedestrianised promenade all along the coast. Very close to the airport (lots of low-flying planes coming & going but not a problem at all!). Would definitely be happy to go back and would recommend to others.

Booked superior room , lovely shower, big room. Food v good. Plenty sun beds, 15 min in taxi to airport. Nice spa. No WiFi in room& poor WiFi at pool. No kettle in room, hire it at front desk. Safe is 4euro per day. Hotel needs updating however it is clean & good location. Aircraft noise didn’t bother me but you are pretty much on the end of the runway.

Room was in very bad condition stains on the ceiling and walls, furniture and doors falling to pieces and unsafe also no sockets we had booked a superior room and it looked nothing like the pictures. The food however was great and the staff were very nice the outside pool area and animation team were also fantastic. The location was perfect right on the beach and next to the square with a beautiful walk into Puerto del Carmen over all an ok hotel if they had the rooms upgraded it would be fab.

Pros: the hotel is in a good spot to go anywhere by car in a short time. Facilites, staff, etc. nothing to complain, everything was on point. I would go to this hotel again. Cons: the airport is nearby, you may hear planes landing every now and then. The Spa closes too early in the afternoon, in my opinion.

We had a nice basic room with Mountain View.The food was very good for us,they served a wide range of food items.The pool area was very nice and the spa good for colder days. The entertainment was enough for us .It is a large basic hotel good value for what we paid.

Leider ist das Hotel überfüllt mit Engländern....Frühstücksbuffett deshalb englisch, Abendessen Buffett OK es hat für jeden etwas, leider aber die Qualität nicht TOP. Schade, zuwenig Auswahl, das Essen nicht speziell. Das Zimmer schön und gutes Bett. Der Transfer vom Flughafen zu teuer. Für 6 Minuten Taxi satte 12 Euro. Kein Hotelbus mehr. Schöne Promenade im Landeanflug entlang des Meeres, man kann Velo mieten oder spazieren gehen. In der Nähe Einkaufen und bummeln. Bus etwas abseits um Arrecife zu besuchen. Pool beheizt, toll.

We found this shows up the worst of all inclusive where hotels also operate a pay as you go. Only 2 bars open in the evening a terrible show bar with very poor choice of drinks, uncomfortable seats and special all inc glasses. The other sports bar is like being in a different era. comfy chairs, nice screens, decent glasses and excellent drinks choice. However its pay only. Get the impression once you have paid the all inc price, they give you rotten standards. Better to go breakfast only as miles better just outside and beter value

Continually see investment in the property every time we visit. Entertainment isn't as good as pre covid. Would like to see it start slightly later in the evening rather than finishing before 10 pm

Great location right on the first line of beach away from the PDC hustle and bustle but still only €6 in a taxi to get there. Hotel is vey clean and I definitely recommend the superior rooms as the standard are much older and in need of renovation. We went all inclusive and there was a great selection of food and drinks available. Id give it a 7 or 8 out of 10.

Nice hotel, convenient for family with children. What it really needs is to repair mini golf court and much more improve cleanness of dishware, it was sometimes disgusting (plates, cava glasses) and improvement of some staff attitude (to be more friendly and not so nasty).

This place is miles away from Puerto del Carmen. The room was substandard and not clean :( The tiling in the bathroom looked like a 10 year old has done it. Dirty water coming from taps :( Would not stay here again. Be warned !

El hotel está muy mal conservado, es viejo y no está limpio ( si está viejo pero limpio hubiese dado una puntuación mejor pero no fue el caso). Lo único que puedo decir bueno es la amabilidad del personal y que la cama no era incómoda.

Outdated hotel. In the day you can do things like the pool, sunbeds and go to the spa (although this is a paid extra). Wouldn’t recommend all inclusive food was awful - didn’t eat dinner for 2/3 of the nights as it was so bad. They also advertise 5 restaurants but this is a lie as only 2 were open during our time - one was open for one night and it was terrible. Entertainment is very poor in evening. Not worth the money. We also had stains in the bed on first night and there was no real urgency or apology from staff. They just sent up a spare sheet for us to replace.

Overall stay in this hotel was great. I spent only a week in January '23. Location of the hotel is fantastic! So close to sea and good place for a nice long walk. Almost all rooms above ground floor have sea view or at least limited sea view. I did not pay extra for sea view but from my balcony ( 2nd floor) the view was absolutely astonishing. Hotel workers are very nice and polite. Receptionists very helpful. Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are a bit outdated but spacious and clean. I would say this hotel is 8/10 :)

The rooms are a bit dated and need updating, friendly staff there is no point in having WiFi in the rooms, it always drop out, reception would say someone will look at it, i gave up after three times

I feel the rooms could do with updating/maintenance as the bottom of the some of the doors was separating from the frame and the bathroom door was "sticking" and was difficult to close.

All in all a very nice place to stay. My only issue there was no kettle in the room.

The room was large. There was a desk, but not a chair. There were not any power sockets near the bed. The one and only one in the room was connected to the television. Unless carrying a multiple socket power line one has to tear out the TV plug to charge the mobile phone. Breakfast starts at 8 with an option to get a reduced choice at 7:30. For us this was too late, being here for business and having a strict itinerary.

The hotel is in a great location next to the promenade, great for walking, running and cycling etc. Not so good though if you want to be in the thick of the action. We had a standard that iwas spacious and clean if perhaps a little dated (no complaints from us though for the price we paid). The food is typical All Inclusve but we liked having a choice for lunch. Our only real gripe was the quality of the wi-fi which regularly "dropped out" and needs to be better (this was my second visit and the same occurred on my previous visit). We would return at the right price.

The hotel is tired and in need of an update. However, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you want a cheap stay somewhere and don’t mind no-frills, this can be a good option.

Serious maintenance required in my room. Inadequate facilities, no bin in the main areas only in the toilet, dressing table but no chair available?? Lack of plug sockets, only 1 in bathroom or unplug the TV. Peeling and scuffed walls. Needed woodwork refurbishing. The room I was originally offered I would have had to walk through an area covered in water from a leaking roof? No danger signs ? I actually mentioned it to reception as I had mobility problems so I was offered another room close to an elevator as I mentioned my mobility. The nearest elevator did not work. Overall not worth the money, stayed in much better for a lot less money. It appears everything questioned they say "see reception". The staff on reception are pleasant but I think some of the areas of complaint are well out of their control. Would never return to this hotel. Paid for buffet as only staying one night ( thank goodness) it was mediocre some of the dishes were tepid and unpleasant. Had much better in other hotels. It appears that some of the staff in the restaurant are not as amenable. I asked as I would miss breakfast ( early flight) could they do anything, they said " see reception" i had already asked reception and they said No. WiFi reception poor, again on asking reception they said because there was no sun try another room ? That was when I encountered the water which was a danger area. This was only rectified by cordoning off after I had told them about it. Overall a very bad experience!!

The hotel is in a good location for the beach and nearby bars and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotels policy in relation to the amount charged for the use of the in room safety deposit box is disappointing, they know you need one to keep passport and valuables safe and yet charge you €4 a day which reflects poorly on the hotel when it is for the safety of guests belongings and you have little choice but to pay it. Also disappointed with the policy not to allow the AI drinks for the area which shows sport (football) as the entertainment bar was of no interest but watching the occasional football match on TV in the evening was.

The hotel was good price, food was reasonable, not enough tea pots at breakfast ask the staff and they send you to the other end and still none, some staff are very miserable, coud do with with coffee at evening meals

Had previously stayed at this hotel and got spa couchers as a Returning customer. This was the first they did not offer this. My girlfriend travelled feom mexico and was looking fwd to this. Usally better service but this was very poor.

En el salon de comida los meseros con total desinteres en mi ayuda que solicite por agua caliente para la tetina de mi bebe, y la expresion sarcastica de parece un espia a un familiar mio. Con absoluta seguridad les puedo decir que es el peor sitio donde me he alojado en mi vida. Ademas con ese precio que me cobraron mas de 1500 dolares si ha existido mejores opciones..... Recomendar un sitio de estos ni al peor enemigo

Hi, I would have given it 5 stars as it was good value for money and the staff were nice BUT the WiFi didn’t work in my room and apparently in the whole section my room was in. I spoke to the man in charge at the reception and he told me- 1) it was my fault, 2) it was my phone’s fault, 3) he would call maintenance. When I asked to change rooms , he admitted the WiFi didn’t work in any of the suites. I said I will take a smaller room than I paid for as I have to work on holiday. He then said the hotel was fully booked. This is total monkey business and unprofessional

I asked a room with a disabled shower on the ground floor for my mother and I was given a room with a bath on the 2nd floor. She was unable to get into the bath and therefore every evening I had to bring everything down to the showers at the gym to help her wash which wasn't private

Super noisy all the time. And landing air plains drived me crazy non stop. And in general very noisy hotel

I have thought long and hard about this review as although hotel itself is fine there were so many negatives it is first of 50 plus hotels been to in recent years I would not go back to. First the positives, nice big hotel, good amenities, nice staff, particularly housekeeping. Good size room , balcony, bathroom with rainfall walk in shower. Now the not so good news. Whilst it is a reasonable distance from airport (5 minute drive) it is right at end of resort, right next to incoming flight path. Very noisy jets start around 07.00 and continue past 22.00 coming in at rooftop height. When I went to pool in morning at times they were coming in every couple of minutes. Pool itself was a problem, hotel welcome pack advises cannot reserve chairs with towels etc. and that items would be removed, they were not. Every morning I was there it got worse with maybe 50% + 'reserved' before 09.00. I know multiple people complained including myself. I was just shown policy on welcome pack, when I explained I was happy with that but not that no enfoecement was done I got nowhere not even fobbed off with 'I will talk to manager' . On arrival Hotels.com review I reported my AC was very noisy compared to 20 or so other hotels I have stayed in this year. Nothing happened, No tea/coffee making, in room a first for a 4 star. My current 3 star in Barcelona at least has signs at reception/lifts of items provided free upon request, including kettle, adapters etc. I got both quickly.

Vi blev lurade på 100 euro vid incheckningen. Efterssom vi var dumma nog att betala så vägrade dom att betala tillbaka. Rummet var väldigt slitet och när man duschar så rinner vatten ut i sovrummet på golvet. Flygplanen lyfter var 10 min och låter högt även inne på rummen. God mat men dåligt utbud i buffen. Bra att stora poolen var uppvärmd.

TV only had BBC News in English. Food was ok, always found a few options to eat but unfortunately never hot, luke warm if lucky mostly cold. If you’re all inclusive drinks are on tap/pump to help yourself so easy and convenient.

Hotel itself is pleasant, spotlessly clean however a bit dated in areas. I read reviews about the food before we went & thought surely it can't be that bad. How wrong was I.

We had no internet, one English tv channel, wall cracked all way down patio door, one socket by tv , we had to go and buy extension lead to charge phones. It was an older room as we wanted a bath tub but that should mean the standards of the room was so poor, Food was same every night. Furniture very aged and worn.

No me gustó nada, el buffet de mala calidad en general comparado a otros 4 estrellas , las habitaciones muy trasteadas y camas incómodas y almohadas malisimas,no volvería a repetir, además los precios del bar muy caros .,lo único que me gustó fue la piscina que una de ellas era climatizada.

Spent a week over New Year and had a very pleasant relaxing time. The hotel itself is in need of some TLC. The decor is dated. We were here 22 years ago and it hasn't changed at all. Despite that, it is clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious with a longe area. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the bedding is of a good quality. The outdoor areas are plentiful and well looked after. As the hotel was full, there was a problem with guests reserving sunbeds from early morning. We decided on all inclusive because it was very good value. We had no intention of eating there everyday. Although we didn't have lunch there everyday, we ended up eating dinner every evening. Unless there was something very specific you wanted, the quality and choice were as good if not better than most local restaurants. My only issue was lack of choice for vegetarians. However, that's common in Spain. We didn't participate in the evening entertainment but it seemed varied. The location is excellent. Beach front and 5 mins from the airport. There are buses to other areas on the island and a cycle path from PDC to Arricife. The staff were friendly and efficient. I really have to praise the first aid guy at the pool. He patched me up after a bike accident. He did a fantastic job. Overall, an enjoyable stay

Location is great, food is not so great specially if you are a vegetarian there are hardly any options. Same menu repeated everyday, no variety. Drinks are all tap drinks, one boring type no variety
