Easy check-in and out, free coffee and water throughout the day. Nice area, shopping, restaurants, convenience stores nearby. Too many exits/entrances made it confusing. Breakfast was sub par, dishes were dirty upon arrival. Overall, good stay. (1 night)

We picked it for the pool and hot tub and the family really enjoyed both. Breakfast was plentiful in options and my husband enjoyed the cold brew. The staff was wonderful, always working hard and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The only negatives were the tiny shower that had hair clumps stuck to the walls and the pull out couch needed a cleaning and was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else was perfect.

May have had updates but seemed a little run down. Nice things like court yard with basketball grill and fire pit. Fire pit would have been great fall thing to do, not working with patio furniture wet and stroon around not attended to. Room seemed to be updated but run down. Bathroom had a tub with darkened grout. Noisy upper floors walking and people talking. Staff seemed to be doing their best.

Overall the stay was fine and we’d stay there again. We had multiple family members in different rooms and a couple of us had clogged showers, which were a bit gross. The staff were available to assist when asked. Internet was not working properly and, again, the staff were available and pointed us towards their IT vendor who was also eager to assist. Nice gym and complimentary breakfast were a great way to start each morning. Weather was snowy/icy and the staff kept the parking lot and walking paths clear and safe.

First night room across was very loud and yelling/arguing for over 2 hours and tried front desk 3 different times in the 2-hour window and no answer. Day of departure tried front desk to ask for late check out - just rang and rang. I expected more for the area and based on other reviews.

Upon arriving at the hotel , checked in around 8:30 pm was given a room 2nd floor . Got out of elevator smelled dog urine got worse walking down hallway . Terrible smell inside of room .. in am Went to front desk told the smell was terrible .. asked if they had animals in this hotel he said yes asked what floor he said 2nd .. he would check and tell manager .. they would call me . I had to call back the hotel 7 hours later to see what they were going to do about it .. got manager on phone .. who said she was aware taking care of it Monday .. she said she could give me $30 off my stay .. not acceptable the smell was horrible and she admitted as well .. very upset about this stay . I don’t know what you can do about this I use hotels .com Frequently a very big disappointment. Not acceptable the way they handled this matter Manager didn’t really care

Less than ideal. A window A/C unit which ran most the nigh, right next to the bed. Also drapes had to be left open for A/C to cool room, which left light in at sun rise 6:10am.

Unfortunately, air conditioning was inadequate. Window conditioning was loud and kept us awake all night during this heat wave. Hotel officials were aware of this inadequacy and are hopeful for improvement with central air

The room was tidy and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our quick one night stay. If you wanted the lowest rated thing would be the couch.. It was a pull out and you could tell it was well used.

The rooms were very spacious and accommodating. Both bed and pull out bed were great to use. My only issue was the shower head was a little clogged, but thr water worked well regardless. Highly recommend the location and how quiet everytbing was. Thank you for this great wxperience.

Lucia was incredible and a warm welcome to the hotel. She was incredibly friendly and helpful with questions. With kids, this set up was incredible. The kitchen area made it easy to feed little ones and manage bedtimes.

Check in was a disaster. There were multiple weddings checking in and only one person working at the front desk. This one person did not know which rooms were available (even though it was after 3 PM check-in time) and had to use a radio to go back and forth several times to find us a room.

Front desk at check in was unfriendly though efficient. They should have also asked if I was willing to accept an "accesible" room which I generally find inconvenient and not set up well for people with bad backs. Food was mediocre especially compared to another hotel in the same category where I stayed on my last trip.

I arrived at this property at 9pm to check-in for a 2 night stay only to find out that the GM had cancelled my reservation. We were not notified until we arrived for check-in. They did this to six guests checking in for shorter stays because they overbooked and accommodated guests with longer stays. Residence Inn sent us to Avon Old Farms Inn which was lovely and very accommodating of the Marriott guests that were dumped on them without notice. Marriott was suppose to ensure that we receive a refund from Hotels.com but it’s been 2 weeks and no refund yet. Very disappointed!

The area is very nice, the rooms are very clean. The staff were all wonderful. We absolutely loved Lucia. She was helpful and answered all questions wonderfully. She has a fantastic personality and made us feel welcome.

I had a nice and quiet stay. Paul, Lucia and who I later learned was Paul’s son, sorry, the name has escaped me, were welcoming, friendly, funny and warm! I hope to stay here each visit to this area of CT.
