Wonderful staff, accomodated a wine bucket, glasses, & cork screw for our room for the Rioja we picked up the day before. They stored our luggage while we walked along the beach promanade after checkout. The parking under the hotel is very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful!

The hotel has a lovely infinity pool overlooking the sea, it lacks a pool bar area as there is nowhere to get a drink when you are sunbathing. Service in the evening for drinks was a bit slow but the staff are pleasant & it’s good value for money. Didn’t have breakfast or dinner but ate at a locally instead. Excellent value for money.

We arrived and the WC was literally dirty, they had to come and clean it. No soundproof between rooms, we could listen next door cell phone volume vibrating every 20min throughout the entire night. We payed for ocean view and we got top roof view and a glance of the beach. Do not waist your money in this hotel.

Our ferry was postponed due to weather so we had an unexpected night in Santander. What a silver lining this turned out to be! Hotel Chiqui’s location is spot on, improved only by the excellent service we received from the very helpful staff - a huge shout out to Jeimy and Cristina in particular who were both lovely. All of the hotel’s rooms face the sea - we had booked a basic room, but were upgraded to one with a balcony. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, everything you need for a good stay. The breakfast, at 15€, was amazing. There was plenty of choice and it was good quality. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay there again next time we’re in Santander.

Everything about this hotel was good, apart from trying to speak to someone at reception. There was a queue every time I went past. There were usually several people in the back office, but only one on reception, regardless of the number of people waiting.

Reception was extremely helpful booking in and giving information, buses etc, as was person sorting out Parking. Breakfast was excellent & Pool extremely clean and pleasant. We checked out at 2 but was allowed to use pool until we left at 2pm as there was space. Great location in quieter area and close to buses into town center.

Super location and exceptional sea views. Would definitely stay again as the position of the hotel worked well for us. Contemporary feel on check in, welcome was ok and check in efficient. We would not book parking again as plenty of safe street parking available. The breakfast was ok … a selection of hot and cold items but the room was sterile with little atmosphere and tables not cleared efficiently. Biggest disappointment was the hotel restaurant .. zero atmosphere and food arrived far too quickly from ordering to have been freshly prepared. Phenomenal sunrise from sea view rooms and super flat promenade to wander with easy access to the beach.

Leider Haare im Bad und Verwechslung bei Buchung, daher leider nur Zimmer mit sehr mäßigen Ausblick auf Meer und Mülltonnen. Kafee beim Frühstück schrecklich, ansonsten Frühstück okay. Gute Lage des Hotels am Ende der Straße, daher relativ ruhig.
