Panoramic view on the Mississippi Lake

Wonderful, EXTREMELY well-stocked place for a family retreat. We were in the area for the 2025 World Jr Hockey Championships and could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. Views across the lake in the wintertime were gorgeous! Would love to come back in the summer and try the fishing!!!

Considering the amenities, this is more a house than cottage. Very comfortable beds. Truly appreciate things like boxes of tissues, shampoo and conditioner, comfy blankets, tons of glassware, dishes, towels. Clear lake water, no weeds, making for great swimming, kayaking, boating. Clear and concise information from the hosts made our arrival and departure super easy. All the comforts one can ask for. Definitely recommend!

My husband stayed for a week with my mother (70), daughters (10 & 13), chosing the place mostly because my mother has terrible allergies to animals. It was perfect! Not only was it clean, we had plenty of room and privacy with her downstairs and us in the upstairs bedrooms, the lake was clear and the beach gave us easy access and a place to play, we kayaked, watched wildlife (blue heron, loons, wood ducks, mallards, black and brown squirrels, gang of Canada Geese, etc.), cooked, bbq'd, played games, watched movies all together and watching the stunning sunsets! Ken was responsive and helpful and the house is very well kept and stocked! We will come back hopefully next year!

Very relaxing property. The house and surroundings were super clean and neat, and the home was well stocked with everything we needed. The neighbourhood was very peaceful.
