Super 8 by Wyndham Danville

We like to stay here because they have smoking rooms. Breakfast isnt much but for the price and comfort we will always stay here. They seem to be updating as well

I thought we had smoking room and we did not. I also thot i could smoke my meds while on.vacation but there was a sign that said if caught will be kicked out

Staff very friendly and accommodating but the parking lot needed work. The rooms were questionable and the bathrooms clean but stains were on the tub. If you’re looking for a cheap no frills overnighter this is it! But family friendly there’s other places nearby to seek out!

Overall good experience. We had a reservation for 1 room non smoking but, there was some kind of mixup with the reservation and we were assigned a smoking room. Initially we decided to try it but after 10min in there we had to come back down and requested to be moved. The smell in the room was terrible. Luckily they were able to move us to a non smoking room right away. The second room was much better.

I liked the room was clean. I liked how there was an issue with the room i booked so they gave me a better room. I disliked the uncertainty of strange people in the parking lot at evening. I disliked how i did not feel welcome at the hotel. If you need a quick place to book and stay for 1 night its ok. But not recommended for families

Nice hotel. Secure. Clean which is a plus for Super 8. There is only a gas station around.

This place needs a new manager /owner. We stayed at Super 8 about a week ago and it was a very positive experience. This place was old, people were parting in the parking lot, didn't feel safe ...

The room was spacious it was clean but I stepped on an earring that was on the floor, we killed several ants in the bed and there was water on the floor behind the toilet that was leaking from I don’t know where and this morning it was coming along the edge of the tub.

Me and my daughter and granddaughter had to go to another hotel because we had gotten bitten by bedbugs. We thought it was mosquito bites until we saw a bug on the bed next to my three month year old granddaughter so we decided to check in a different hotel for the rest of our stay

The hotel itself was decently clean. The room was a bit odorous but the beds were clean. Blood stains on the wall behind one bed. Mold apparent in bathroom. Breakfast was fruit loops, corn flakes, bread to make toast, and a few apples. Very insufficient even for a continental offering. The day staff lady was on her phone watching tv all day and sent me to track down housekeeping myself for any needs. Room only had one set of towels for three people and was nearly out of bathroom tissue. We found a blood stain on the sheet the morning of checkout and several areas that showed mold.

This Super8 Wyndham was very very clean. The TUB WAS SO CLEAN and so was everything. The bathroom looked brand new. We were in a pet friendly room and it was conveniently near the exit. I just really appreciated the friendliness of the front desk staff and how helpful she was. We go that way often during good weather and we plan to stay there again. Oh, and the air conditioner was super quiet-that is quite rare in hotels. The room was pretty. Large photos on the walls, pretty curtains, new shiny tables and beautiful lamps you could plug your phone into for charging. very cool.

This place needs a face lift. Shower had mold on top. Rooms needed to be sprayed to get hide the musty smell. Toilet did not flush properly. Went down to breakfast at 8:30 and was told they were out of eggs. Problem was, that was all that was being served.

Clean, brand new mattresses was a bonus. Zero complaints at all.

Blinds were not darkening and there were lights on outside the entire night. It was to bright to sleep through.

Comfortable beds. Convenient place to stay for us

We reserved a room with a king size bed --- paid that price. When we arrived, we were told that another client had decided to stay another night so they got to keep the room with the king size bed. We got stuck with the room with 1 queen size bed with no discount.

It was not what I booked. The beds were suppose to be queen beds and they were too small

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room. Extremely clean and in great shape for the price. One thing that needs mention. I had a first floor room and there was no lock on the window. Someone could easily slide open the window from outside.

Most everything was good....but the HVAC was very loud at times. A 'knocking noise' emanated from the heat unit. The floor was not particularly clean, but we find that in MOST motels....

Peaceful and comfortable

I was not allowed to stay in a room with me , my wife and our 4 small children. I was told that if we wanted to stay that we would have to buy another room and split up because it was too many people. I ended up traveling back home instead of splitting up my family.

The room was clean, bed comfortable and we slept well. Check was easy and staff friendly.

Paid for hotel online. Called to ask when check in was and a very rude woman stated it was "anytime after 3pm" only to re-read my receipt and it states check in is actually 2pm and that was stated on the wall information in the hotel. I go to check in at 2:45pm and a very rude front desk woman acted irritated to have to check me in. She proceeds to try to re-run my debit card and tells me it's declined twice although I have a literal copy of payment, proof it was deducted from my bank acct, etc. She proceeds to tell me I cannot stay because my card was declined. I asked what I need to do to rectify it and she says "I don't know, call your bank" An hour later after sitting with my kids in the car, hotel.com finally lets me know they contacted the hotel and it somehow went through and I can get the keys. As I am walking in to check in, a man who had been right outside the door smoking a cigarette for 20 mins watches me walk in and lets me stand at the front desk waiting for at least 5 mins. He finally comes in and says "you call Expedia on ,me?" Then proceeds to give me room keys but is everything but pleasant or professional. I mean, I did apparently interrupt his 30 minute cigarette break I guess. Room was gross, front desk people were awful and I am positive the rude woman I first dealt with told me check in was at 3pm because that was shift change as she wasn't there but replaced with the smoker guy. She just misleadme by an hour so she didn't have to check me in!

Had to change rooms twice, no air in either… Didn’t even get a suite I paid for

The lady that works mornings is very rude. If she had to get up from eating or watching tv she gets an attitude.

I’m a landlord and one of my properties had an emergency where I needed to temporarily house the tenants, a family of four, two of which are autistic children. This family drove 15 miles to be turned away by Sii, the mgr/owner. Explanation given, we don’t rent to locals. As the tenant called me to explain this I could hear him tell this family of four to get off his property, all the while she’s in tears. It takes a real special kind of person to do something like that, keep that in mind when booking here. Is this something you would tolerate?

Check-in was very easy. Lisa was very helpful and friendly . Breakfast was nice. Room was clean

Place was clean and well priced. Not a lot to do around the immediate area. Was a great alternative to the higher prices in Champaign on game day.

I can’t believe that’s even called a super 8! It’s generic!! The breakfast was cold, the toilet was dirty, no extra blankets in housekeeping, the tv did not work!!!! I used to work at a super 8 and it was way better than this place in Danville il!!!!

Friendly check in. Room was fairly clean. Pillows weren’t the best but tolerable. Breakfast was stale bread, only cranberry juice, and coffee. We did sleep good and it was quiet.

The hotel was oil. Breakfast had sausage and biscuits which I usually like but it was cold:(

It wasn’t very clean at all. The tv remote didn’t work hardly at all and the free breakfast consisted of corn flakes, fruitloops, toast and mini cinnamon rolls and an open gallon of milk that everyone used. It was a decent price but I’d happily spend an extra $10 to upgrade even just a little
