Porto River Soul Hotel

This hotel is a hidden gem! Carlos at the front desk provided amazing hospitality, greeting with a smile, always eager to assist and will made by stay the best! The entire staff are professional, the location is great and the breakfast is one of the best. I also had dinner there and it was very good, my only complaint was the service in the kitchen was extremely slow. I was the only one there when I put my dinner in and it took 30 mins just to get bread basket and another 25 minutes for my meal. The waiter was very good so I know it wasn’t him, it was the kitchen. Dinner was cooked perfectly and the portion size was great. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I really love the bath products. It is my favorite so far out of the 4 I stayed in Portugal and one of the top 2 favorite hotels in all of Europe during my travels. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable❣️ I can’t wait to return!

Location and views excellent. The staff are very helpful.Public areas minimalist. No internal lounge area or bar

The hotel is lovely and clean. Great location. Only downfall was this hotel doesn’t provide an iron not even for a charge. The staff were rude about this and advised that they had told us they don’t have an iron even though online it states to ask reception for an iron and ironing board. This ruined our stay
