Room had new flooring and bed was very comfy. The room was clean. They are updating this propery, so new floors, new paint, bedding etc. Mike at the office was very nice and helpful! We will be staying here again.

When we got there the reception gentleman recognized me from our previous stay. All of the staff seem they remember us. That makes us fill like family. The room was clean and smell fresh. The air conditioner worked perfectly. We slept like babies every night. The parking was right outside our room and the outside lighting throughout the hotel was excellent. Thanks Super 8. Check in was easy and the front desk young woman was nice. The pool was dirty and she said it was to be cleaned but we did not get a chance to use it. My husband went to put the suitcase on a clubchair as there was no luggage rack. The chair was so dirty with visible mud,etc. That my husband opted to put the suitcase on the bed instead. The beds looked clean and were nicely made. The lamp between the two beds was covered in filth. My husband did not charge his phone bc the charger on the lamp base was too filthy. The hairdryer was broken. There was a roach in the bathroom. The shower was an accident waiting to happen. The tub had a slick, shiny bottom with out anywhere to stabilize your feet.The shower surround was made of slick shiny sheets of fake marble. Nowhere to hold if needed. No grab bars. I would not stay there again. Not even for free.

The lady who checked us in was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. The nicest thing about this property is how close it is to downtown. The room itself wasn’t very clean, there was hair on the ground in the bathroom. There is also a half inch gap underneath the door. Whenever I woke up this morning there was a dead roach on the ground. The covers for the shower handles weren’t connected to the wall, the bathroom itself definitely needed some work. Multiple places were there was spackle in the bathroom that wasn’t painted over. The pool itself was blue, but there was algae on the bottom of the pool, and the entire surface was covered in dead bugs. Checkout wasn’t until 11 am but I did get room service knocking on my door at 1030. I mean, I know it’s a super 8, but for $200 for one night, I guess I expected a little more for the condition of the room and pool.

Staircase very weak when stepping down you can fell if concrete was cracking and pieces falling off as you took a step. Than I booked my room on Expedia was charged one price. Than after check out was charged again for different price. So contacted Kayleigh at comfort suite said that they didn’t do it. So know call Expedia and number I got rings and when ask for representative it hangs up.

What can I say about this hotel. It was located right in east main Street and we assumed it will be good but as soon as we entered we felt that the room was not clean. The wooden floors were broken and dirty, the bed sheets were dirty with stains and we noticed a couple of cockroaches. There was one dead in the fridge too!! We checked in late and were extremely exhausted and just crashed in our beds ignoring all this. But few minutes later we were woken up by BED BUGS!. There were plenty of it and we couldn't sleep the whole night. This was a bad bad place. Never staying here ever again.

Hotel location is good for walking around the town. Floors were very dirty, bathroom had hair on the floor from previous guests. Lamp beside the bed was sticky and dirty. Bed blankets and towels were clean and spotless.

A very disappointed stay. The floors were very dirty. The room has not been maintained or upgraded for a very long time! The bathroom facilities are worn out and appear dirty! Had to wear shoes as our feet were black after walking around for a few minutes

I wasn’t expecting a whole lot after seeing some of the reviews, but this place was worse than I could’ve imagined. It is probably the dirtiest of hotels I have ever stayed at. The first room I was put into head crumbs and hair on the sheets so I requested another room. I was put in another room and the sheets seemed to clean so I went out to dinner. When I came back and got in bed, the sheets smelled horrible. It was so bad that I slept in my camper in the parking lot. The floor was super dirty and the shower curtain was nasty. Whatever you do, do not stay here.

The chair in the entrance of our room was dirty and had a q-tip on it from a previous guest! The floor was so disgusting in the bathroom that I couldn’t walk barefoot. The grout and floor boards were brown but should have been cream. There was sticky spots on the entertainment stand that was never cleaned. Giant gaps between the floor boards and baseboards collecting god knows what. The shower was so poorly maintained (and had poor previous repairs done) we didnt shower there. Pay a bit more to stay somewhere else.

The property is in desperate need of repairs and updates. The mattress in our room sunk in the middle. The paint is multiple layers thick and there are stains on the walls. There are no USB plugs in the room.

Very run down. The mattress on one of the queen beds had a big dip in it. There was no vent in the bathroom so after anyone took a shower, everything was wet - the floor, the toilet, the toilet tank, the walls which made the door not be able to close. It had to be slammed shut in order to close it. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful.

It's a Super 8. Come with the right expectations. Whenever my family and I want to stay the night at Fredericksburg, we stay there. It's the most affordable hotel that is walking distance from downtown. Most other places charge double the price. Is it the nicest, most luxurious place? Absolutely not. But after spending a lot of money doing the wine trail and shopping at downtown afterwards, it's nice to go somewhere safe and quiet without spending hundreds of dollars to do so. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

I booked a room with two queen beds and the hotel put us in a room with one King. I wasn’t told about this at check in and when I went back to the front desk to tell them the clerk told me it was an error on expedias end and I needed to contact them. So I did and Expedia ended up being absolutely no help either.

I did not appreciate the house keeping lady waking us up at 9:50 am when check out was at 11a !!!! I would have liked to sleep until 10:30 please !!! That was very rude n annoying!!! Also there was a lot of noise because they are renovating hotel. If I would have know this I would not chosen to stay there !!!

Check in was good. The wrong room was given but quickly fixed once we mentioned it. Room appeared clean. Unfortunately while out of the Room for breakfast our room was entered and was cleaned before we checked out. We had not completely removed our stuff as we planned to come back after breakfast some of our belongings was taken but thankfully the cleaning lady had it on her cart (I guess she was gonna keep it). They had no business going

I choose to pay at the property when booking. I received a notice 30 minutes before check in that my credit card was declined due to fraud protection. I didn’t worry since I was about to check in. Arrived to check in and waited as someone in front of me checked in and was given the opportunity to use a different card for payment. My turn comes and I was informed that there were no more rooms since my card was declined. Was given attitude insinuating that it was due to low funds. I explained that it was for fraud protection issues and still received attitude until I provided the proof of the fraud protection notification. It’s just suspicious since it was ran before check in and how I was treated.

Great location and an easy walk to downtown. Plenty of free parking. I love that they accept dogs at no cost. Neighborhood feels safe. We did not have any noise issues around us. I will say it's a bit run down. But you get what you pay for. We would recommend staying here for the location, dogs allowed in room and price.

It was comfortable. Nothing fancy, but clean. Its on main street, so close to alot of things. Across the driveway are 2 places to eat, so no need to more your car. (Mamacitas and Panda Cuisine). The pool has a small little gated area. Continental breakfast.

Room was run-down, bathroom dirty, pillows too soft. The breakfast was very minimal, muffins, fruit, and waffles, and juice. I think this is called continental breakfast. Will not use this Super 8 again. The Kerrville Super 8 is much better.

Was not very clean, bathroom facilities were very old and well worn, breakfast facility was actually the front office with only one breakfast option.. a waffle… the toilet didn’t flush well ( continued to run and filled way too much water, and the air conditioner was loud.

The property is undergoing renovations, which is great, and didn't interfere with any amenities or the stay overall. The room was spacious and clean, excellent water pressure and hot water! Hotel itself was quiet and was so convenient to the shopping strip in Downtown Fredericksburg. Breakfast area was small but sufficient. Few hot options but coffee was great and waffles are always a great option to see. Overall, would recommend for a short stay to visit downtown.
