Hotel Riu Oliva Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Nice stay at this hotel. Beautiful beach, clean facilities. Food got a little repetitive but was good quality and we always had something to eat. Pools were really nice especially the family pool which was heated. We were a little off season and there were always loungers available by the poolside. Staff was friendly.

Malheureusement, on avait l impression que les voisins étaient dans la nôtre a cause du bruit Le personnel est au top. La cuisine est correcte. la piscine assez longue pour nager. une salle de sport bien aménagée.

The rooms were quite dated though clean and functional. Common spaces were ok but gym needs a refurbishment. Good food options and general quality. WiFi not working in the room. This hotel has a lot of potential but definitely needs a refurbishment.

To start off we had a fantastic holiday here, we enjoyed the location, access to the beach, closely located to Ferry Port and many more convenient aspects of this resort. The Front Desk/Reception Staff were incredible, no questions unanswered and no service requests denied. Judy specifically helped us with everything from towel cards, to luggage storage, directions, recommendations and room service! If you need anything in this resort front desk can help. The property and garden were kept beautiful and support staff kept dining areas clean, clear and pristine. The entertainment options at night we great and the drinks were great. The pool was lovely and plenty of lounges for everyone. However, unfortunately there were a few details that took away from our experience such as Snack Bar area had pungent unpleasant smell consistently, one of the 3 elevator was non-operational, and a 2nd of the 3 did not stop in our floor (but we got our steps in). Also sadly the Wifi did not reach out room and so there were no casting or streaming options on TVs. It was also unfortunate to learn on arrival that there we no opening for the specialist restaurants while we were there and I was also disappointed to learn ALL restaurants/snack are buffet/Self-Service. No where in resort can you order from a table or sun lounger. Overall we really enjoyed our trip, we had immaculate beach and pool days, we enjoyed a lot of the food and drinks and are so appreciative to all of the amazing staff!!!

Just set expectations to above average for the accommodation. This does not bother us because we only use the room to sleep. It is slightly run down. The location more than made up for it and we had the best holiday. Pool was nice and AI drinks decent. Food was repetetive between both restaurants.

El Hotel tiene casi todo lo que se espera de un tres estrellas , pero no hay WiFi en las habitaciones , solo en zonas comunes ...el lugar es precioso pero se nota un tanto dejado en su totalidad ...podria llegar a ser mu hisimo mejor en estructura y avanzar en tecnologia más moderno ....lo que si quiero destacar es que todo el equipo de animacion se merecen las 5 estrellas espectaculos y actividades muy muy bueno , todo el personal de restaurante, de limpieza con un trato amable ...5 estrellas , volveremos por que nos sentimos muy a gusto ..gracias a todo el personal .

The hotel is huge and a bit old, some parts feel like 90ties, but overall good experience. The price beats little flaws. Location is amazing, right on the beach and in national park. The dunes are right outside the hotel. We'll be back once we visit Fuerteventura.

While this hotel is a little old fashioned it is run very efficiently and the staff are always helpful and cheerful. The food was excellent with plenty of choice. Wine, beer and soft drinks freely available on tap and spirits and cocktails from several bars. Loads of sunbeds or tables to sit at during the day with free pool towels. The safe in the bedroom was free as well so no extras to pay for. We enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely clean room. Comfy bed. Food and drink plentiful and enjoyable. Staff incredibly hard working and friendly. Plenty activities. usual sunbed tagging. Cant wait to return.

Hay que mejorar las instalaciones el hotel tiene todo antiguo las puertas rotas , baño de año x ,sin renovar ,ratas y cucarachas por todas partes ! El personal muy amable y defendido el hotel y de los comentarios que hemos dejado ! La comida muy buena es el único que nos a encantado!!

Wir, 2 Kollegen, haben 2 Doppelzimmer in den Nebengebäuden bezogen. Klar, die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das hat seinen Charme. Es war nichts defekt und alles hat bestens funktioniert. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit des Personals von der Lobby über den Service bis zu den Zimmermädchen, immer ein Lächeln und Zeit für einen Spass. Die Sauberkeit war top, nicht zu übertreffen.

The hotel is very old, we had mold at the walls, dirty rooms, the breakfast was of low qaulity, bad smell at the dining hall. The stuff was friendly but couldn´t compensate the problems. Would never ever come there.

Rent och prydligt, men mycket slitet, både rum och korridorer. Stort behov av renovering. Matsalar och övriga utrymmen är helt okej vad gäller standard. Mycket trevlig personal och bra och varierad mat. Bra utbud vad gäller kvällsunderhållning. Gott om solbäddar vid poolerna.

The hotel its self is a little tired but that is the only fault it has. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, from the front of house staff to the gardeners. There was entertainment in the evenings which were enjoyable. The food was amazing and you are spoiled for choice. The whole place is spotlessly clean and is constantly being cleaned. The beach is absolutely stunning, the surrounding area is beautiful and it is easy to walk into Corralejo one way or the sand dunes the other way.

Struttura datata, necessiterebbe di una bella rinfrescata. Camera ok, con una vista splendida sull’oceano e le dune. Pulizia ok, ristoranti e bar ok. Il buffet colazione ok, buffet ristorante ok, ma non è per italiani. Una menzione speciale al professionista italiano alla reception: competente e simpatico. La location è sicuramente il punto di forza. Un’esperienza dignitosa.

Really pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food available from early morning to late at night included a very wide selection at breakfast, lunch, dinner along with additional continental breakfast available until lunch and snacks throughout the day. The "fancy" restaurant which required a booking was great and nice break from the main dining room. Pool and breach area really nice and generally had loungers available. Plenty of parking and the rest of the island was easily accessible by car and/or bus. The dunes and surrounding area including the beach is beautiful. We stayed as part of a wider trip to Lanz/Fuerta and really enjoyed it. Only criticisms would be the decor which is dated and fact that there is no-wifi in rooms (wifi worked well around the ground floor and other common areas). Would certainly return and recommend. Great value too.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, aber auch sehr alt eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war riesig. Es gab aber leider nur im Haupthaus Internet. Der Fernseher war sehr klein und die Lautstärke nur minimal. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich egal in welchem Bereich. Die Lage ist relativ gut..in den nächsten Ort ist es schon ein stückchen zu gehen, also sollte man gut zu Fuss sein. Das Essen war sehr schlecht.. Mittags gab es fast immer das Gleiche... Das Frühstück war allerding sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand bei den Dünen.. einfach toll..

The property is in a beautiful location and was great for the price. The furniture and decor is very outdated, the mattresses are not very comfortable and the elevators were problematic but overall we enjoyed our stay.

It´s not very expensive hotel and all included breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also private restaurant which you book table at. That´s very nice and they really try to come with something different everyday. The staff is very nice and service is great. But it´s only 3 elevators for such a big hotel and one was always broken. The beds are not comfortable and the rooms are old.

Especialmente el personal de todo el hotel, creo que es un plus muy importante para el huesped. Incluso ante un problema actuarón por encima de sus funciones. Como sugerencia algún día más de discoteca, o actividad nocturna para hacer grupo. Por favor, que no vuelvan a faltar guantes a los socorristas, ya se que fué puntual. Gracias por hacerme pasar una semana fantastica, y por supuesto repetire. De Barcelona viajando solo

The staff is very friendly. As we were late check in, and the buffet was ending in 40 minutes, the staff helped to arranged the simple check in and let us enjoy our dinner first. Also, I left my glasses in the hotel on the last day when I was on the way to the airport. I called the receptionist and she was very helpful. She suggested and helped me to call a cap to pick up my glasses from the hotel and send us to the airports. Same as other comments that the hotel is a bit dated but it was expected. Didn’t see much comment about the food. It’s all inclusive hotel, so you can enjoy the drink and food nearly 24 hours 😆. You will find different types of food every day. They also arranged a Xmas buffet on the Xmas day, which was out of my expectations and the kids enjoyed a lot and wanted to start there forever. the hotel have two more restaurants other than the main one, which required to book in advance. As I noticed too late and can’t try all of them. I would recommend the mandarin cursine as the Spanish cruisne is same as the main one basically… We would definitely recommend and come again for next trip.

We had an amazing stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, they accommodated our room requests and gave us a bottle of fizz in the room for my partner's birthday. Great variety of foods and restaurants and beautiful location. The place could do with an update but it is adequate for a 3*.

Breakfast wasn't fresh. Other guests were rude. Beds were dreadful. The only good thing was the service from the front desk when we needed a taxi to get out of the place and we didn't have to wait longer than 10 minutes each time.

Wir haben uns im Riu La Oliva Beach Resort sehr wohl gefühlt. Gleich am Anfang möchte ich die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals erwähnen. Von der Reception bis zur Zimmerreinigung, waren alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir wohnten im Annex in einem Bungalow und waren am Anfang nicht so zufrieden mit der Lage. Am anderen Tag konnten wir problemlos in eine andere Einheit wechseln. Die Umgebung ist sehr gepflegt und lädt mit seinen Bäumen zum verweilen ein. Der Pool ist ruhig und bietet mit der Snackbar und dem Restaurant eine gute Alternative zum Hotel. Das Hotel selber liegt direkt am kilometerlangen Strand. Hier ist immer etwas los. Das Essen war hervorragend, vom Frühstück bis zum Abendessen hat es für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Zusätzlich gibt es noch zwei Themen Restaurants mit Asiatischen und Kanarischen Spezialitäten. Den Abend lässt man auf der Hotelterrasse ausklingen oder geht mit dem Bus nach Corralejo. Einzig die Einrichtung der Bungalows ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ansonsten ein schönes Hotel in dem alles inbegriffen ist (Essen, Getränke und Unterhaltung). Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder zurück!

My go-to hotel of choice whilst training in Corralejo. Amazing location on the beach, surrounded by dunes, perfect all-inclusive training food, amazing staff - everyone from the maids to waiters to reception staff - so, so friendly and helpful. AND they remember you from before...

Al hotel se le notan los años, pero está muy bien situado tanto para los que quieran playa (es enorme) como caminar por las dunas de Corralejo. Todas las noches hay algún espectáculo y hay una parada autobús muy cerca. Buen personal y buena comida.

Struttura situata nel parco delle dune di Corralejo. Un paesaggio fantastico con dune di sabbia "morbida", non compattata, tipo dune Sahara. Si giunge da una comoda e non trafficata strada. Il personale è molto cordiale e gentile, sia in reception che in sala da pranzo. Le stanze non sono molto grandi, sono un po' antiquate e meriterebbero un po' più di manutenzione sui mobili o rifiniture, ma sono sempre ben pulite e con un'ottima dotazione, non manca nulla. I 3 ascensori funzionano male, alcuni rimangono a lungo fermi e sale e scende paticamente sempre lo stesso. L'animazione è presente e organizzano tutti i giorni spettacoli serali, peccato solo che i posti a sedere sono pochi ezona spettacolo organizzata in una stanza allungata, quasi un corridoio. Sempre spalancate le porte e fa freddo! Quando ci sono fuori 17 gradi non lascerei aperto con corrente d'aria. La sala da pranzo offre un ricco e abbontante buffet, c'è veramente di tutto. Peccato solo per la pasta, spesso tracotta o con sempre i soliti sughi (bolognese, formaggio, pomodoro). In un posto di mare mi aspetto primi con pesce e frutti di mare. Ottimi e ricchi i secondi, dolci e frutta. Sempre disponibile un'ottima macedonia di frutta matura. Poche le straio, sempre piene. Il panorama attorno è bellissimo. Però le Canarie sono molto ventose e piuttosto fredde. Considero la zona come posto escursionistico e non come posto da mare. Freddo di sera da dover mettere giacca. Oceano freddissimo. Piscina piuttosto fredda.

Hotel in die Jahre gekommen. Service, Personal (ausnahmslos) sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Qualitätet der Speisen Hervorrageng. Spiritousen fast ausschließlich Hausmarken, aber kann finden was seinen Geschmack zutrifft.

La comida deja mucho que desear y nos pusimos malos con gastroenteritis.

Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants pour un séjour de 7 jours en formule tout inclus. L’endroit est parfait pour aller dans les dunes à pied et à la plage à pied également, avec de belles vagues. Les repas du matin sont vraiment copieux avec énormément de choix pour satisfaire tout le monde, petit comme plus grand, le midi et le soir sont généreux aussi pour le prix que l’on paye le séjour beaucoup de choix. Nous avons apprécié les cocktails, boisson, café…illimités. La chambre est refait tous les jours avec goût, le personnel de l’hôtel est vraiment au petit soin avec nous, l’hôtel est très propre beaucoup de personnel y travaille. Les lits sont confortables, les enfants ont un coin jeu plutôt sympa, il y a du ping pong également. Il y a deux piscines, celle de l’hôtel est un peu plus chaude que ceux des maisons à côté de l’hôtel. Au milieu des dunes, si vous voulez explorer l’île, économiquement une voiture est indispensable. Les bus et taxis sont assez cher. Vous pouvez réserver deux restaurants un peu plus chics la semaine( gratuit ) mais dommage car le lendemain de notre arrivé, toute la semaine était déjà complète 😔 Pour se garer c’est facile et gratuit. La chambre et l’hôtel est d’apparence un peu vieux mais l’hôtel a été construit il y a 50 ans et nous ne sommes pas venu pour acheter mais profiter, cela suffit amplement pour profiter du soleil et de l’environnement. Une belle semaine en tout inclus sans être trop exigeant rapport qualité prix bien placé.

I loved this place. Amazing location, just wow!. It is a big hotel with between 1-2,000 guests so feeding those numbers "All Inclusive" can\'t be an easy task. However, the food was just fabulous, and The Mandarin and The Canarian cuisine was just superb. This place exceeded my expectations and the vibe was excellent. The hotel is a little tired (built in 1972), but I loved it, the location, beach and catering were just excellent.

Déçu de la nourriture : chaque jour les mêmes plats basiques et insipides sauf une nouveauté du même acabit pour "faire bien" ...Je n'ai jamais vu cela en 50 ans de fréquentation de clubs de ce niveau !!! J'avais choisi RIU pour éviter ce problème ...je regrette mon choix
